studyless123:thought you should see this too. GRAMMY AWARD CEO EXPLAINS "The Grammys do not care if you have 100 million followers or 100 million streams on your song. When songs are nominated, we have a group of professional music experts from the United States who sit and listen to every song and album. Then, we evaluate the quality and content of each and every song before unanimously voting for a winner. The Grammys have nothing to do with the number of followers, streams, or fans an artist has. We evaluate quality and content and choose the best to win. We have been doing so for 66 years now." — Grammy Award CEO @Harvey Masson Jr. explains what it takes to win a Grammy Award. Source: Music Base Africa My point is that Water deserved the win because based on performance, vocal agility and all that, she performed better than the artists nominated. It's not about the streams. |

The criteria for awarding the best music performance can vary depending on the context, such as the type of award (e.g., Grammy, MTV Music Awards, local music awards), the specific category (e.g., best solo performance, best group performance, best live performance), and the preferences of the judging panel or voting audience. Generally, factors like vocal quality, stage presence, technical skill, audience engagement, and overall entertainment value play a significant role in determining the winner. However, different awards may prioritize certain aspects over others, and sometimes factors like commercial success or cultural impact may also influence the decision. studyless123: |

folake4u: I no dey carry anything comot any where 😁😁😁. You need some long penis that can stimulate your gut (stomach) muscles. That's the ultimate Gspot. LOL Just kidding, don't mind me. But speaking of penis sizes, I really think if we represent sizes as a spectrum, Nigerian straight men are mostly on the far side of little. Wonder why that is! |

You're missing my point, the category was for performance... Unless the performance is referring to performance on the charts, of which I'd say it was undeserving. I guess Grammys have to tell us the criteria for awarding any song from that particular category then. studyless123: |

No ethnicity has an exclusive gene for big dick in Nigeria. Queer people would say Fulani but throughout my stay in Jos and Katsina, and Taraba, I never met a Fulani man with penis bigger than mine and it's not even that big. Igbo men too, there are lots of us with little joysticks. Same with Yoruba Men. folake4u: |

I really don't know, there are lots of STI that can be contracted thru skin to skin contact regardless of condoms. folake4u: |

We forget that the award was for performance, the artist with the best performance for the submitted song for the year under review. And with Rush, the song was a hit no doubt, enjoyed international and local radio play, but there's just a hand full of live performance of the song from Ayra. Unlike Water by Tyla. Her team promoted the song so well, booked her shows on many live TV shows and her dancing and live singing skills won the voters over. Water isn't as big as any of those songs in that category, but her live shows outperformed all the songs there. Davido would be the first Runner-up for me. His performance of unavailable on Jimmy Kimmel Live show was dope too. ElasmoBranchii: |

Kennyswag:that's not the point dear. The category is for best music performance not how sweet the song is. Arya never performed the hit song as good as Tyla performed water. Also let's not forget she always hired a dance group and live bands for her performances. Also she sang live with occasional backing vocals and not the whole song singing in the background and a hype man shouting everywhere. Also Tyla was everywhere on TV shows performing the song. SNL, JIMMY FALLON, ETC. Those where wat was considered. |

We're all been paid that Tyla worn the category but do we know what the category really represents? BEST AFRICAN MUSIC PERFORMANCE, not best African music. How many performance of unavailable by Davido, Rush by Arya or Asake's own could beat Tyla's Water performances? TYLA deserves that win abeg. Nigerian acts should do more in their live performances and not just hire a hype man and a DJ for their shows. They should also do more TV appearances. That'll help them for next year. Congrats Tyla |

Gerrard59: Nnah, condom isn't a guarantee for STI protection. Sticking to a partner is key but then what's life if you can't enjoy yourself in the process. Enjoy your skin to skin Biko. Pregnancy or not, the lady can always drink PostPill. |
