Phones / Re: Phone Engineers On Nairaland Willing To Assist You - Part II by Ifelove1(m): 6:47pm On Jan 13, 2020
My infinix note 4 goes off as soon as I unplug the charger no matter the battery percentage.

Initially my phone used to go off at random times and restarts several times unless I plug it. Now it goes off as soon as I unplug the phone. I have done a factory reset but the problem persists.

I want to know if it is likely a battery or motherboard issue.
Thank you.

Do you know if any of the banks allow you to eat your cake and have it, this means if you wanted to invest N100k and the interest on the investment is N15k, so you deduct the N15k before hand and then the bank only debited 85k from your account, at the end of the tenure they pay you back N100k.
UBA does it... But their minimum is 500,000

Today, I am greatly impressed by integrity Ifelove1 has shown. This is an indication that winners of the scholarship have high level of integrity and honesty. Due to network error, I credited him twice. He alerted me and refunded the extra pay back to me.

People of honour like this brilliant student Ifelove1 should be honoured and celebrated.

God bless

Xfire

I'm honoured..
Thank you once again.

That means with this rate for the 364 days bid with one million what is my interest and when will first bank credit me with the interest please? This is my first time investing. Thank you
If first bank was successful, they should have gotten a rate of slightly higher or lower than 14%. You should expect about 140,000 on Thursday or Friday except you ticked "invest with interest"

Abeg those on AXA mansard mmf, i want to fund my account
1. If i fund/ transfer outside office hours, any disadvantage?
2. Between transfer and interswitch , which one is advisable? Thanks

@Kzdguru, @coolangel54 , @ ajeleomo , @ifelove1 @other AXA investors
1. If you fund after 2pm, your account will be credited the following day
2. I prefer bank transfer as the charge on interswitch will take almost 20days for me to make as interest

UPDATE!!!!
A friend who went to Kaduna state scholarship board to check his name today said he asked and was told the list with them is the general list sent to all other states' scholarship board by FSB, so you can check in any state you are. And the list is not pasted.. they check it individually in their system with either your registration number or phone number..
Have you checked yours?

Ifelove1 got 450k, how did you arrive at yours?

What if the capital is N9.6m?
I think I misunderstood your question. I thought you asked two separate questions.
9,450,000 * (11.7/100) * (98/364) = 297,675
9,600,000 * (11.7/100) * (98/364) = 302,400

Secondary Market dashboard for today from First Bank:

91days @ 10.95%

98days @ 11.7%

140 days @ 11.90%

350days @ 13%

336days @ 13%

Can someone please calculate my interest only at maturity if i invest N9m,450k for 98 days @ 11.7% if in invest interest ?

1. Interest= 9,000,000 * (11.7 /100) *(98/364)
2. Interest= 450,000*(11.7/100)*(98/364)

Registered. Thanks. How do I calculate my interest rate of 12.16? I read its an annual payment. Also, how do I view my daily growth (interest)?
1. First, the interest rate is not constant. It may be higher or lower depending on the fund managers' investments.

12.16% is for 365 days/1 year
Your interest for one day is going to be 12.16/365 = 0.033%
Since you started with 100,000 you should expect 100,000 * 0.033/100 = 33naira. Thus, you should expect about 33 naira everyday at the current rate of 12.16%. If the rates go up, you will get more, if the rates go down, you will get less.

2. Log into your account, select investments... scroll to the bottom till you see fund summary and select AXA Mansard Money Market Fund. Scroll again and you will see your accrued interest.

If it is FBN from around 9-10:00 am the money should drop.. Some times without alert so if you do not get alert you can just check your balance through various alternative means. Since your money is dropping today there is no need of telling them to reinvest when it has already matured.. You are expected to do that before the maturity day @least 2-3 days before..especially if it is primary market it is easier to roll over for FBN. For secondary market you can just walking in after confirmation that your money has dropped anytime before 3:00pm today and chose from what they as it appeal to you.
Thank you once again

Unfortunately the answer is No. Your account has to be credited first to complete the TB transaction cycle. Once the money is physically in your account, your account officer can subsequently get you a new TB investment either in the secondary or next primary market as per your instruction.
Thank you

your money will surely drop. but you can only reinvest via secondary market
I know. My question is that instead of crediting my account, can I go to the bank and tell them to resubscribe in one of the secondary markets available (which I will choose)

Good morning...

Today marks the end of my treasury bills tenor. Should I expect my money at the end of banking operations today or it can be paid at any time? Can I go to the bank and ask them to reinvest it instead of crediting my account?

Any idea?
Well, today is Sunday and rates are gotten on the general working days(monday to Friday). However you should be able to get rates of about 10% for shorter tenors and greater than 13% for longer ones

Lmao ...if you claim you are earning N44 a day on your mutual fund, It means in 365 days, you'd get N16,060 . An annual interest rate of 80%. Does my calculator have a glitch or is this beans not done?

He said his earnings for this week alone...
He makes about 12 naira everyday which means he gets about 22%p.a.
I'm tempted to move already. But the website shows 12.3xx%

It's been a long time I asked.. The last time I asked the minimum was N1,000,000.
An email was sent to me by the bank today stating 10,000.00 náírà, if I am going with the bank's rate.

please can u tell me how much will be intrest of 10000 naira in 6 month

Simple interest = Principal * rate * time(in years) / 100

Principal = 10000
rate = 11%
time = 6/12(since it is not up to a year)

S.I = (10000 * 11 * 6/12)/100
S.I = 550

You should get an interest of about 550 naira

Good evening house. Who knows if UBA allows primary market auction (The one where the bank bids for you)

If yes, what is the minimum amount that must be invested?

Thank you.

Since I have been using both of them, axa rate is always higher than stanbic. I am not talking about the rates they displayed on their sites, but the actual rates that were credited to my account.
Thank you. Stanbic rates always look so low. I feel like transferring the money there to AXAMansard

List at least, two MMF that does that. I have asked you to list those MMF that are better than Axa and reason why. Let us learn from each other.
I have 6 different MMF account, so, I know the reason why I said you should list at least two.
From my experience, none of them is 100% perfect.
Please has Stanbic MMF ever had a better rate than AXA Mansard MMF?

I did the 364-day TB and my interest was credited today but when I calculated the interest based on the alert I received I was disappointed that it was approximately 11%. I was expecting something higher for a 364-day TB.
Well, your bank must have set their bid for 11%. No one knew that rates will be that high
