It doesn't work that way sometimes, though, Federal govt hasn't make any declaration, so fingers crossed.

Sunday 1st of May (workers day) activities to make the day will definitely hold accross the States. Ramadan fasting will also hit 30 days this same day and Eid el Fitr must proceed immediately on 2nd and 3rd. It won't be logical to shift Eid el Fitr to 3rd and 4th of May.

2nd May can be both holiday for workers day and Eid el Fitr and 3rd May holiday still for Eid el Fitr.

By the way, this is just my personal opinion. I may be wrong at the end of the day.

https://appointments.immigration.gov.ng/

Enter your reference and application number then choose next available free date. It will ask you whether you want to change the existing date. You have 3 slots to change your date of appointment. Search very well before you choose a date and don't forget to save the appointment slip on your phone or PC.

Any applicants that his or her appointment falls on public holidays will have to reschedule by themselves to a free day if you are DIY.

I doubt if the change can be done so quickly. If your appointmnt is May 2, does it mean you hve already paid for the newpassport and have your husband’s name as nee details? Besides May 2-4 are public holidays

I think public holiday is only May 2nd and 3rd. 4th is not inclusive. May 2nd will be public holiday for both workers day and first public holiday for Eid el Fitr. I don't think Federal will declare 3 straight days for public holiday. This is just my thoughts ooo!

The list was not revealed. Only mail sent for now. The mail reads:

Dear Candidate,

We would like to start by thanking you for your interest in GEMMA. Out of the applications received the GEMMA Selection Committee has proposed three lists to the European Commission: Main List, Reserve list and List of Non-Selected candidates. Candidates have been ranked in order of merit so that Erasmus Mundus scholarships are allocated in that order.

YOU HAVE BEEN INCLUDED ON THE RESERVE LIST.

If any candidate from the Main List rejects the scholarship, this will be offered to the first person available on the Reserve List, according to the order of merits.

You are kindly requested to CHOOSE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING OPTIONS and communicate your choice to GEMMA (gemma@ugr.es) by responding to this email as soon as possible and no later than Friday 27th April 2 pm CET.

1. You ONLY wish to participate in the programme if there is a drop-out from the Main List and an Erasmus Mundus scholarship is offered to you as the next person on the Reserve List. In that case you will only have to send us further documents if and when you are offered the scholarship.

2. You are no longer interested in participating in the GEMMA programme.

3. You are willing to participate in the GEMMA programme as a self-financed student, even if the Erasmus Mundus scholarship is not granted to you (please check the “Scholarships” section on our web page for other funding options (http://masteres.ugr.es/gemma/pages/becas).

IMPORTANT: Please note that, regardless of the option you choose, your position on the Reserve List will not be affected. The lists have already been submitted to the European Commission and no changes will be made to them, unless the Commission decides so or there are drop outs. The ultimate decision regarding the scholarships is made by the European Commission.

If we do not hear from you by the deadline, we will understand that you are no longer interested in participating in GEMMA (option 3)

I just got a mail that i made the Reserve list of GEMMA (Women's and Gender Studies). I hope people drop out on the main list or the European Commission approves everybody on the reserve list for the scholarship. Anyone from Nigeria in this category?

But you said you were interviewed for the position of grant manager? I thought they only interviewed for the position of program assistants of the available units/dept which grant management is among. Pls, clerify. Thanks.
