I will take FIFA serious when i see South Africa point drop to 10 from their current 13points.
Also read on Twitter that Lesotho claimed they will reject any point being deducted from South Africa in the name of awarding it to them.
The most confusing part of all is another media permutation claiming that, if Lesotho rejects 3 points deducted from South Africa, the said point would be handed over to Nigeria.

The hardest truth is that Nigeria don too Bleep low on this journey by playing 4 draws, winning only 1 game and losing one game.

Funniest thing be say i trust my 9ja people, because they will keep on praying to God for other teams to lose point forgetting the fact that those countries too have the same God we worship here.

Advice: Plan well because it pays to be proactive. The purpose of praying to God is to crown our effort but not to help you score goal. Faith without hard work is hallucination.

CareerFrustration Mounts As Applicants Struggle To Access Federal Civil Service Commis by ify2016(op): 7:09am On Feb 07, 2025
Job seekers have expressed frustration over difficulties in accessing the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) recruitment portal since the commission announced job vacancies on January 27.

The FCSC had advertised vacancies through its website and national dailies, inviting applications for various positions in the Federal Civil Service.

However, many applicants who spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Abuja lamented their inability to log in and register on the portal despite repeated attempts.

Mr. Felix Eneminyi, one of the applicants, shared his disappointment, stating that he was initially excited about the job advertisement but has been unable to access the website since the announcement.

“I have been trying to log in since the first day I saw the advert, but it has been extremely difficult. Up till now, I still can’t access the site,” he said. Eneminyi also expressed doubts about the authenticity of the portal due to the persistent challenges.

High traffic on website
Miss Ifeoma Eze, another applicant, echoed similar concerns, blaming the issue on the high volume of traffic to the website.

She urged the FCSC to have anticipated the surge in users and upgraded the portal accordingly.
“I believe the issue is due to the high number of people trying to access the site. Given that there has been no federal employment for over a decade, the commission should have anticipated this level of traffic,” she said.

Miss Gift Jacobs also appealed to the FCSC to improve the website’s accessibility to prevent further disappointment among job seekers.
“I am appealing to the commission to please upgrade the website as many Nigerians who have been waiting for such opportunities are frustrated with the current development,” she stated.

Another applicant, Miss Eneh Awodi, shared her experience, saying, “Look at my screenshot of the portal that I tried to log in here. I have tried like three times, even at midnight, but I couldn’t succeed.”

FCSC Chairman reacts
In response to the complaints, the Chairman of the FCSC, Prof. Tunji Olaopa, acknowledged the challenges and attributed them to the high traffic on the website.

He assured applicants that the commission is working to resolve the issues and ensure a smooth recruitment process.
According to him, immediately after the vacancy announcement published on its website, the Commission has been inundated with complaints from prospective applicants about their inability to access the portal.
“The Commission wants to assure members of the public that its ICT department is doing everything possible to make the process as hitch-free as possible.

“The Commission recognizes the high traffic to the website as many people try to enter the portal at the same time,” Olaopa said.

The FCSC chairman urged applicants to remain patient while the technical issues are being addressed, assuring them of a seamless application process in the coming days.

After 2 Years, Man Owing N80k Redownloads Loan App, Cries Out as His Debt Climbs to N1.4 Million

A Nigerian man is in a dilemma after seeing how much an N80k loan he took two years ago has become .The man redownloaded the loan app after two years and was shocked to find out he now owes N1.4 million .

A lawyer has reacted to the man's situation and advised him on what he should do as a matter of urgency. Barrister Atanda Olatunji made the man's outcry public, via his Facebook handle, The People's Parliament.

According to the man's story, he redownloaded the loan app and was surprised to find the whopping amount. He begged for a way out. His message read:

"I Re-D0wnloaded my L0an App today and i was surprised with what i saw. "Atanda, L0an of 80k last 2 yrs is now 1.4M, what can i do pls."

Reacting to the man's outcry, Barrister Atanda advised him to sort out the loan issue now as it would affect his credit score and deny him many opportunities in the future.

He further advised the debtor to visit the loan company's office and plead for a fair ground, adding that it is in their hands to determine his fate. "My dear you sort it out now cos it will not stop increasing which will affect your credit score so badly and you will out from many opportunities in future. "Go to their office and plea for a fair ground and promise that you are about to pay. They will bring it down it down to 50% for you.
That's the only option and they may also not agree to your plea. It's their right. They have the power to accept or reject your plea.

The barrister warned that the debt would keep increasing if the debtor did nothing about it. "The more it delay. The more it pile up. One day you will wake up to check and see 10M gbese for you 😀. Once it's cross 3M , the company will file a suit against you. "I hope you are ready for it. You go go court tire and loose your property worth that amount when e reach that stage. Ignorance of the law is no excuse..."

The legal practitioner urged the man to pay up the loan and funnily suggested an alternative. "Pay your Loan. No think say them go cancel am cos you delete the app oooo. The only way out na to travel out comot from this country and start your life in another country. Ehen, you will be free.

PoliticsArmed Herdsmen Kidnap 3 Soldiers, 35 Passengers On Enugu-Nsukka Road. by ify2016(op): 4:51pm On Jan 12, 2025
There is apprehension in Enugu-Ezike in Igbo Eze North local government area of Enugu State following the abduction of over 35 passengers by suspected herdsmen.

The incident occurred on Thursday, January 9, 2025, along the Enugu-Nsukka Road.

Three buses were attacked, and initially, four Nigerian Army personnel were taken, but one, PTE Usendu Emediong (24NA/87/7560), managed to escape.

However, PTE Usoro Ezekiel Paul (24NA/87/6751), Jeremiah Inimbom Thomas (24NA/87/7937) and PTE Victor Itiat Godwin (24NA/87/8348) were taken away with the other passengers.

According to an eyewitness, the kidnappers numbering 17 marched all the passengers into the bush after operating for an hour.

Not far from where I’m lodging in my hometown in Enugu-Ezike, a 17-member ragtag Fulani herdsmen kidnap gang operated for about 60 minutes on a busy road that links the eastern part to the northern part of the country. The road is bad,” he said.

They were successfully attacked three 18-seater buses and kidnapped at least 35 people from these buses forcefully. In the course of moving the victims into the bush, one of them managed to escape. It was when he came out that he narrated how they were kidnapped and we got to know he is a soldier.

He said he and three others soldiers were going from Akwa Ibom to Kaduna State in one of the commercial vehicles.

“Yesterday, local hunters, about three of them from my village on their usual routine encountered the kidnappers in the bush but had to hide. They heard one of victims complaining that he couldn't continue walking as he was tired but guess what? He was shot dead.

“Hours after, both the local hunters and the military operatives entered the bush and saw the dead body which was later taken to the morgue.

“This Sunday morning, a helicopter has been hovering around this town causing apprehension among villagers, though without any rigid invasion to rescue the victims. I believe the Fulani herders and the victims are not still in the bush.”

Meanwhile, a military signal obtained by SaharaReporters confirmed the abduction of the soldiers.

The signal said personnel of 87 Regular Recruits Intake (87RRI) were abducted along Enugu/Nsukka Road.
