Police arrest woman with anti-aircraft amm¥nition concealed in palm oil in Nasarawa.

The Nasarawa State Police command has arrested one Mrs Hauwa Sani of Doro village, Katsina state, for allegedly being in possession of 124 rounds of anti-aircraft amm¥nition concealed in a gallon of palm oil.

The suspect was arrested alongside a two-year-old child at Rafin Sanyi village in Doma Local Government Area of Nasarawa State on Friday, August 23, 2024.

The command’s spokesperson, Ramhan Nansel, in a statement on Saturday, August 24, said preliminary investigation revealed the suspect received the amm¥nition from Doma LGA and was arrested on her way to Katsina.

Good one from Lagos State government but my annoyance is that if you are familiar with that track, you will agree with me that the whole track has already been messed up with polluted defecations. I almost died walking on the rail from Oshodi terminal to Army Arena. Boys were there too extorting rail users aggressively. I had to tip them when it's obvious they were too close to me in numbers to gently obtain my belongings .

Police also patrol sometimes to scare them away from harassing innocent people going to Arena to purchase something but they are usually not scared of anyone.

Lagos Government should mobilize more hands to tackle those criminal elements and finally face defecators on the track.

Organizers of the nationwide hunger protests have announced that the demonstrations will resume on October 1.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that nationwide protests were held from August 1st to 10th over the increased cost of living in the country.

Omoyele Sowore, the Action Alliance Congress (AAC) presidential candidate and a key organizer, made the announcement in an interview on News Central TV.

He revealed that ongoing meetings between organizers have been focused on strategizing the next phase of the protests.

“This protest will resume at the beginning of October and might even start earlier depending on situational variables.”

Some Nigerian youths have begun to attack properties owned by political leaders amid the ongoing nationwide protests against hardships and bad governance in the country.

The youths accused the lawmaker of neglecting their constituency after his election 14 months ago during the last general elections.

Bangladesh Prime Minister flees as protesters invade her palace.

Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has resigned and fled the country following weeks of d£@dly anti-government protests.
