No Ma, It's not a problem for me . If the parents are comfortable with arranged marriage situation , what's my own. Am not naive, neither am I a kid and these are experiences I have seen and want to learn from. I don't subscribe to this is not your business/mind your business crap, because i want to learn from other people's experiences and because this is a personal reflection on the issue. You are in the east so getting a "sales girl" job won't be a problem at all. The salary range is usually 15K to 25K. Might sound small but it's a starting point.

From my own experience, the opposite is the case. I think location is a determining factor. I can't imagine after all the sand filing before building proper in a place like Lekki then building for low income earners.

Boils down to location, IMO.

3 bed flat goes for a minimum of 2.5M per annum in Lekki ,while 500K or thereabouts would get you something similar in places like Ikorodu, Egbeda etc.

Parents aint always right.
My 8yr is one of those kids that wont let issues die until they are resolved.
I used to think he was rude but now am used to his personality.
So I often say, u will have ur turn, just let me finish.
And dat helps but it takes time to deal with little incidents dat a quick slap wud have sorted but his happier dat way.

I might not get you very well but there is a huge difference between expressing oneself and talking back rudely.
