awesomeJ:
Which one?

GT Bank Hold Co or VGIF at 4.5%?

Both.

Olaide1295:
Second, that owners of dollars in DOM accounts can't do FX transfers again. They are now being compelled to sell to the bank.

Are there people that waited until now?
When GTB came up with their inflow and transfer only policy, all man knew it was time to offload.

I offloaded @ 473 and smiled myself to sleep for 2 weeks.

awesomeJ:
I was hoping GT Bank will buy back Investment One, as part of their HoldCo restructuring, and I'll do VGIF. Now CBN has also crashed that to 4.5%

Really? I havent heard this news

TransAtlanticEx:
So a friend of mine has been really pestering me to buy a vehicle to manage for me.
I have never done land transport before even though it's something I've always loved to do.
Now I have no clue about how the business part of it works,so I'm looking at getting ideas from here to know what guidelines to take.
The vehicle i want to buy for a start is a Citroen J5 cargo van or Mercedes 809,even though my aim is truck but lemme start small first.
So I'd love to know how much to demand from him weekly or daily or whatever time period.
Also the type of van to buy?diesel or petrol?
Are the variants in the mechanics of this vehicle?
Is the J5 a good vehicle?
What kind of documentation to make(union,transport,frsc,etc...)?
And whatever I might need to know will be very much appreciated.
Thanks guys as you chip in your ideas.

@Emboldened, No.
You will lose both truck and friend. EOD

To make profit in transport in Nigeria, be ready to manage it yourself especially the early days .

TransAtlanticEx:
More answers from sensible humans are welcome.
I apologise for the mental breakdown of the idiot above,Nigeria is not easy so most times it knocks down the brains of most of its youths like the one above.

TransAtlanticEx:

Because na them sabi make mouth pass.
When them struggle rent one bedroom flat, buy 2003 Corolla and earn 150k monthly income, they turn to motivational speaker and think they can advise everyone.
Not saying 150k salary is bad though.

Is this who i think it is?

UjuJoan2:

Essay subject : Pick any one out of the above list of female Nlders, write a 600 words essay on how you believe she spent her Covid lockdown.
You dont have to stalk or PM them, just look through their profile and try to get a hang of their e-personality then write something you think they'll like.

I wont be the judge so dont try to impress me, the ladies will be the judge. There will be 2 winners of 5K each per person and a total of 22 winners (110K)
