PoliticsHigh Oil Cost Raises Fears Of Petrol Price Hike by ifyan(op): 4:51pm On Mar 28, 2016
By BusinessNews Staff

A fresh increase in the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit (petrol) may be imminent following the latest rise in the global oil prices, which has pushed the cost of petroleum products up.

And should the Federal Government retain the current prices of fuel, the nation may witness the return of subsidy on the product.

The landing cost of the product stood at N71.49 per litre as of March 18, up from N56.97 per litre on February 12, the latest data from the Petroleum Product Pricing Regulatory Agency showed. This cost of the product was a little less than N86 per litre.

The Federal Government had in December reviewed the pricing template of the PMS to make it sensitive to the price of crude oil in what the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, called price modulation.

The review of the template in December led to a slight reduction in the pump price of petrol from N87 per litre to N86 (for the NNPC stations) and N86.5 (for others).

As of the time of the review, the global oil benchmark, Brent, was trading around $36 per barrel and fell below the $30 per barrel mark in January this year.

On March 18, Brent ........

I had to quit blogging for 5 months because I was discouraged, due to mainly to lack of traffic and other factors. My blog, http://ObinnaOnyenali.com, was not getting the results l expected. However, I was able to turn things around by embarking on a research. Every information you need to become a successful blogger is online, you just need study, little hard work and perseverance.

Weldon OP, you did a great job. However, i wouldn't advise anyone to have multiple blog account in order to attract more people. Blogging is stressful, and you need a lot of time to make it work. Managing one blog the right way needs a lot of time. If you advice people to have multiple blog, then they need to share duplicate contents.
I strongly advise Nigerian bloggers to install good analytics on their blogs. Using GA is great and would help them measure every activity going on. But most Nigerian bloggers are not ready to do the right thing. The care less about the quality and authenticity of what they share. They flood the internet with porn just to attract people and get adsense impressions. Majority don’t even know the benefits of having web analytics.
If anyone has questions regarding GA, I would be glad to help.
Explain better bro.

BusinessEO Predicts Positive Outlook For Nigerian Businesses by ifyan(op): 2:37pm On Mar 25, 2016
A global network of business owners, the Entrepreneurs’ Organisation, has predicted a positive economic outlook for Nigerian businesses.

The EO, in the first part of its twice-a-year Global Entrepreneur Indicator survey results, said the prediction came amid great apprehension in government circle as well as the Organised Private Sector about the challenges facing the Nigerian economy.

It said 57.1 per cent of the respondents reported the willingness to start a business in the current economic environment, with the expectation of improvement in the business environment in the next six months.

EO said, “An interesting aspect of the survey is the prediction of a great improvement in the country’s economy with 85.7 per cent of the respondents affirming this against the global average of 28 per cent.

The organisation said 57.1 per cent of the respondents expected business revenue, net profit and access to capital in the country to rise in the next six months, while 28.6 per cent of the respondents expected an increase in the use of debt instruments in the next six months against what obtained in the last six months.

Commenting on the report, the President, EO Lagos Chapter, Mr. Vincent Molokwu, was quoted to have said that the Nigerian economy would surely bounce back, especially with the concerted efforts of the government and the OPS.

The EO is a global network of more .........

I agree with most of you said.

JarusHub, my blog, is now almost a household name that everywhere we go, we also get to meet someone that follows us.

Trying to open a bank account with GTB recently and the bank officer told us, "so you guys are the owner of JarusHub. I will personally take up the opening of this account".

Anytime I give my card as Founder of JarusHub, 2 out of every 3 persons that receive it, tell me they are aware of it before.
Sir l respect you a lot.
