Yesterday's crowning of Miss Taraba State as the winner of MBGN 2011 is generating controvesy. Despite the fact that she wasn't obviously the most beautiful girl on parade and even when she couldn't answer on two ocassions a question simple as " what does winning the MBGN 2011 mean to you?", she still emerged as the winner. No thanks to Guy Morris Bruce and his flawed panel's decision. The judges appear to have a pre-determined winner. Do you think Miss Taraba was the best lady that walked the runway yesterday? What's your take on this?

The Nigerian military are way too unfit 2 live in a democratic environment. I dare suggest dat their training should include courses like modern democratic principles & practise, the military in a democratic dispension, inter-service conflict e.t.c. The bad belle wey pple get against d police nor make dem empathise/sympathise with them. This is no excuse though.

The INEC voters registration exercise kicked off today. It was however trailed with complaints ranging from failure of the DDC machines 2 function, inability of the INEC ad hoc staff to operate d machines, to late arrival of d INEC staff.
