bunmioguns:Yes sir, you killed it! Can't just stop laughing. |
Who remembers what the Algerians did to us that year after Mahrez scored that excellent free-kick? Some of their children recreated that scene, and in the coming days, used it to mock and taunt us. It was all over on the internet. E come be like say, make we revenge now: make our children recreate how Akor dribbled their goalie, and without looking at the goalpost, he just chipped in. E for sweet wella. Make we pepper them. Lolz. |
Hezzyluv:I tire for them ooo. Na ref cause that one? |
A very big congratulations to the SE, and to us, Nigerians. That trophy is coming home. |
Honestly, I've been seeing football matches these days courtesy of the fact that I'm less busy at the moment. (Especially this Afcon!) And just like in real life, the moment a particular team entertains fear against an opponent, just know that, that game is over for them. They are going to lose, for sure. When fear comes, then comes defeat, or failure. After two minutes into the Nig-Alg game, you could literally see fear in them. They were highly tensed. And our SE kept pressing. No, no, no, this is not because I read Psychology in school, but the obvious fact. Even Zinedine Zidane seeing the match felt the heat; his mood and facial appearance spoke volumes of uneasiness. Mind you, I saw all Algeria's games from start to finish, and how he looked and really smiled and laughed, especially in the first three match es. His son Zidane, the goalie, was largely unburdened, unstressed, and uncalled-upon in their previous matches, and that was why he had kept three clean sheets. In fact, all the entire team didn't feel "one" heat - defenders o.., midfielders o.., forwards o.. they beat their opponents with ease. But today, lolz, I pitied them. Under ten minutes all of them were sweating profusely. I was just laughing. Wo, whatever you do, or want to do, just remove fear! Fear is a disaster. Remember: when fear comes, then comes defeat. (If you saw their match against Congo, you would realize that Congo didn't play well because they were scares of them.) |
The ref bin taking sides like kilode! I think say na only me notice am ooo. But our sister country no try today at all. They didn't put up a real fight. Hope they will not be praying for us to also exit 2moro? |
Wahala, wahala, wahala! in Porttable's voice. |
placeofallure:As in ehn...na AI oo ![]() |
I no kukuma understand this Slot. Since others no dey available (Ekitike, Isak and Salah), why not play Chiesa as top 9, and Rio as 11, or you bring up as a sub for Gakpo. If him no use dem now, when him go use them? I just for him!!!! What about Nyoni, another young dude? The match would have been most interesting if he had played those available guys. Everybody dey use their starlets once in a while, e reach Slot turn, him leave them for bench? That guy just make me lose passion to watch my team play. I really wonder which juju him use win league last season. |
Understood, Osi get right to be angry or react, but e overreacted. Shikina! In tertiary education, they award degrees in CHARACTER and Learning. Never you downplay the importance of character in anything you do. That guy should just grow up and go work on himself. Period. After all, Ade already gave you two goals. What more do you want? Na only him wan score?? Woo, him never play with Salah before that's why. Na premium tears him for dey shed every match. Truth is, one of the reasons Mane left Liverpool was because Salah would not just give him the ball to score even the former was completely free to do so. So, make that young man be calling down at least, small. Na my own be that. What arrant nonsense!!! Just left the field just like that, no respect for anybody - for coach, for fellow teammates. Mtcheww... |
Usmanovic95:Well, you're correct, too. I completely agree with everything you said. |
rolams:I nor kukuma understand that Slot. Even if you want rest Ekitike, why not use Chiesa for starting lineup? What about Rio, that starlet winger? Hmmm.... honestly, I wonder what magic he used to win the league last season. |
giacomogiovanni:Na true you dey talk, bro. No mind their papa. I wonder which pos don come out that time. That dude almost got me with that stupid deceit. APC, hmmm. |
Usmanovic95:For me, I already knew it would be like this. The major reason Eze was enjoying game-time was because Odegaard was absent (injury) as at when he made the transfer to Arsenal. Same to Merino. Now that G. Jesus and Harvertz are back, watch as his game time has dropped drastically. (Although Merino is a midfielder, he had often played as a top 9 when both strikers were away through injury.) Truth is, there are so many options in the mid-field. Zubi is on-form, Rice too and then Odegaard. So it's hard to reason his matter. For the left-wing, Mattinelli and Trossard are back on-form, unlike when the season had just started when they thought they were going to be sold. So, where you want put Eze? For Saka wing?? Just a reminder: even Norgaard, former Brentford's skipper and key player no dey see shirt for EPL and UCL. Na Carabao cup or so ha him dey play often, together with Kepa, Chelsea former goalie. So, again, where you want put Eze?? |
ReacherSaidNoth:Very true! Lost key defenders, and are still going to lose another good defender in this January transfer window. That is really why they're struggling, defensively. However, they actually tried in today's match. |
abidem4real:Even though I'm not a Chelsea fan, this your statement is not it at all. He doesn't know his job and he won Club World cup, Conference Cup, and returned Chelsea to UCL. You think is beans?? For the CWC, you think it was easy to beat PSG? It's CFC's character to always part ways with any manager who's not doing too well at the moment, even if the fellow had won them a million trophies a month ago. It's just them. And, to me, this character or behavior is not entirely good because in football, you win some and you lose some. CFC don't have patience. They want to win all the time. Iro! A time may come and no manager would want to coach CFC for all the money in the world. |
Cmanforall:Hmmm, this one made me smile. As if you took it from my mouth. True talk. |
At the viewing centre when the match had only started, some Arsenal fans were just shouting, "No Rice, no Rice? What happened to him?" In my mind, I was answering... "At least, there is stew!!" Guess? Trossard!!! Only the gunners had "White, Rice, and Partey!" But the party don go. |
Usmanovic95:You hit it right! Not allowing that guy to leave during summer is really paying off. Guy has become a beast in the squad. |
A big congratulations to Arsenal!! But sincerely, I knew without a doubt that Villa were going to lose today the moment I saw Emery's formation - playing Sancho as no7, a position he's not mastered; Buendia, in no11. Like how? In this type of crucial match? If you observed very well during the first-half, the Villans struggled to attack, and as for me, the two wings were not really functioning. It was as if Rogers and Sancho were confused about their positions , and as such, they didn't really link up well. If only Emery had brought Sancho to his already accustomed position (no 11), leaving Rogers in no 7, then Buendia left mid-field, the game would have been completely different! Gunners wouldn't have dominated all through. Yes, for real. As for Timber, he too wouldn't have had a field day, because Sancho would have terrorized him. Anyways, congrats to the gunners once again. |
Emeka71:Guy! You just cracked my ribs. E don turn song. |
jiz:As in ehn, na juju! Educated state oo?? |
Fine, Chelle shouldn't have subbed Onyeka, but I guess the reason he did that was because Onyeka was visibly tired. What Chelle should have done was to give Simon and Ejuke a new role in that game, telling them to be more conscious of defending rather than attacking, since we were already up by three goals to nil. And for Nwabali, like one commentator rightly said, he looks more like a bouncer than a goalie. The guy cannot just dive or fly! He cannot even make a nice move. For me, the guy is yet to be tested as we are yet to meet a good opponent. Anyways, let's keep praying for everyone of them and hoping that they will do well. |
CyynthiaKiss:Guy, you're 100% correct!! In Fed Uni of Gusau, they refused to give admission to Christians, especially the key courses, for which their people could not. They sacked all the non-indigenes, most especially Christians from their state government parastatals! And many other dastardly things they have done, and keep doing, to Christians. Truly, that religion hates the Christians. It clearly evident. |
Ezumezuagwu11:As in ehn, you just spoke my mind. It is well. |
A big congratulations to her. |
jaxxy:As in ehn, the matter get k-leg. Just funny. |
GoldenJAT:Abeg, no blame the players. Honestly, one thing I observe since last season about that Slot, is that, the guy is a racist! What do I mean by that? He himself, Virgil, Gakpo, Gravy, are from the Netherlands. So, since the very moment he came, he made his country men instant starters (except Virgil who has been a starter under Klopp - the two GGs). Same players that were struggling for game time under Klopp! Before he came, Gakpo had often been used as top 9 or 8 by Klopp. Sometimes, Klopp might even play him in the middle. But as this oga (Slot) came, he made him an 11, thereby fixing Luiz Diaz as a 9, position he was not used to. If you watched Liverpool matches that season, you would have realized that Diaz was not comfortable playing as a 9. But why was he doing that? To allow space for Gakpo. Before then, Gakpo and Gravy was not that so good. So, they only enjoyed few minutes under Klopp. But as you continue doing a particular thing over time, playing a particular position over time, of course, you would get better. That's why those two became better poo.. So when the offer came for Diaz to move else where ( first to Barca and then to Bayern), he didn't think twice, he just left, coupled with the fact, that he was even underpaid for a player of his caliber. Truth is, LFC don't pay well. Somebody like Garnacho may earn, for e.g $500,000 at Chelsea. But if na, LFC, eshe if him go get more $120,000, na juju! Okay, no Gakpo, no Salah, and you have a young lad, Rio, and you don't play him at all! Is that not foolishness Gakpo, except in recent times, Gakpo played about every minute in EPL, UCL, Carabao, EFL, no be juju The same with Gravy! What nonsense! And you have others!Others coaches are rotating their players but for him, his countrymen na standby!!! Virgil should be resting by now. Use Gomes and Konate for small matches, for where!?! Virgil plays every match. That's why I said that man isa racist joor!! |
fuckingAyaya:Aje, wetin you talk seem true! Baba wey don ready for the next big deal. |
