Op, now, you need to be thinking about the way forward. No allow overthinking or depression kpai you. Get your wife something to do if she's doing nothing at the moment. Hustle hard. Use your free time to learn any skill in your area of interest. That your in-law too, needs to be something doing to assist the family. If he/she has none at the moment, get him/her or ask him/her to get him/herself one. He/she needs to be productive and not be an extra burden on you. When next you want to meet your wife, pls use something. By now, you guys should be on family planning. Be prayerful. This is the time for you to draw closer to God like never before. Cry out to God for help. He's the only One that can truly help you. Your children for now, should be in public school until things improve and get better for you, which I know they will. So don't give up! Others I must also commend you op, you try. That means you probably got married early, which most nlanders have failed to point out. You try joor! But pls, take caution, and don't bring another child into this world again. The ones you have are okay. I pray the Lord send you help from Zion shortly. It is well. Shalom! |
Thanks.. |
That moment Joseph revealed himself to his brethren in the land of Egypt, they COULD NOT BELIEVE him (Gen. 45:3)! And by the time they returned to the land of Canaan, telling their father that Joseph was still alive, Jacob too COULD NOT BELIEVE them! Of course it was hard for Jacob to ever believe (Gen 45:26)! Someone who had long been presumed dead, after several years of not hearing from him? Anyway, that's a testimony. An incredible one. Jacob could not believe it - to see his hearthrob alive, now governor over all Egypt! Also, when the angel of the Lord told Abraham and Sarah that they were going to embrace a son the following year, the old couple COULD NOT BELIEVE! But it happened as it was said (Gen. 21:1-3)! An incredible testimony for that couple. Sarah who had long passed child-bearing age? Again, when Rhoda told the believers who were praying for Peter when he was captured and thrown into prison, and that it was Peter knocking at the door, they COULD NOT BELIEVE! Whether they believed it or not, they saw Peter live and direct! He was miraculously delivered from prison and death. Jesus, our great deliverer, told the neighbors weeping over the death of a damsel that she was sleeping and would be up again, they COULD NOT BELIEVE! They laughed Him to scorn! However, the damsel came back to life. Now, that's a testimony! For the family of the damsel, the neighbors and the entire community! I could go on and on. I pray for you reading this post right now, in this second-half of the year, God will give you INCREDIBLE TESTIMONIES that will wipe out all your shame and struggles, in the name of Jesus! You will be so shocked to find it hard to believe it yourself. Why? Because we serve a God who is a specialist in impossibilities. A God who does wonders! You are next to testify to the glory of God! Please comment 'Amen' if you believe you are person God is referring to. Shalom! |
Hbd... great icon! More strength, grace and wisdom! |
Hello Nairalanders, a very good morning to you all. I am Ifiok Jeremiah. By His grace, I am endowed with the gift of writing. That simply means that I am a writer, because I have written four literature books already. Yet, none has been published on Amazon, Apple, etc. Last year, I published two of my literature books. Now I would like to put them up there so that others can read them and get inspired as well. So how do I go about it? Hope somebody will not steal the books and claim ownership and be eating from my sweat? Your opinions, please... Moreover, I am also a songwriter and gospel singer. I dropped my first single titled, "Love You" this year. You can download the song from Audiomack.com and SoundCloud.com. (Ifiok Jeremiah is also the name) Please download and share. It's a very beautiful and danceable song, trust me. It will bless you. Thank you, very much. Hope to hear from you, soon. Modes, please take it to front page. |
Nigerians be want tear the records book for them . |
Op, you are playing with your fuuture! ?? Run ooo! You still dey wait? She promax! |
What I can deduce from that chat are: 1) The earlier the Op realizes that he's not in a relationship, the better for him. It's obvious that it is "eat me I eat you" . That one na relationship? Dey play. They are just playing games joor! And when both parties are tired, they'll go their separate the ways. 2) She's that bold to make demands because she knows the relationship no get head or tail. Lolz. Since op has eaten her, she has to ask for payment through billings. You sef see the boldness! Op is indebted. E sweet for free? Abeg, op just call it quit and save yourself pocketache, and channel your money into something productive. I rest my case. |
2) Keep your mind on Jesus - You must focus all your attention on Jesus, not letting anything whatsoever steal your gaze. Because, it is in Jesus lies the deliverance of your sufferings or predicaments. So, don't allow anything to steal your focus. Don't allow distractions, the pain or naysayers steal your gaze. 3) Prayer - The Psalmist says, " I will cry unto God, unto God that performeth all things for me". So, wisdom demands that you call unto God in prayers concerning your situation, and not begin to go up and down seeking help. Men will always fail, but God never does. When you call unto Him, He will answer you and show you great and mighty things you never knew. Don't run to men; run to God. Only He has the solution to our problems. 4) Patience - Now, this is one virtue you must not throw the trash! Patience is key! God will bring you out of every challenging situation but you've got to be patient. Don't be in a hurry. God is cooking something up for you. Allow it to 'done'. The Psalmist testified: "I waited PATIENTLY unto the Lord; and He inclined unto me, and heard my cry" (40:1) . There will be no 'hearding' if the ingredient of patience is not applied. God will answer you and that shortly, if only you will be a little patient. Shalom! |
It doesn't matter which side of the divide you stand on, hard times come to everyone. It doesn't matter whether you are a Christian or not, everyone will definitely have a fair share of suffering in life. (I'm sure you have heard that the rich also cry) And it doesn't even matter whether you voted for the current administration or not, we are in it together. What matters is your response to challenging situations or circumstances. Would you take the easy way out - by committing suicide? Of course not. We are Nigerians, and are very strong people! You already know that tough times never last, but tough people do. Here are some nuggets to help you sail through these difficult times: 1) Endure - Scripture says, "endure hardness as a good soldier of Christ". And what does that mean? It means keep pushing, moving, persist, don't give up! Why? Because it will surely come to pass! Things will not always be like this for you. There's a glory ahead for you. A place of rest. Your finances, family or business will soon bloom! Just endure! At the moment! Things will change for the better. Jesus too, had to endure the cross for you and I, and you know where He is now. So endure! 2) |
I had several: 1) Steven G and Alonso in my primary school because I loved those players and also a LFC fan. 2) Groundnut, also in primary sch, because whenever you find me, you would shaa see me eating Groundnut. Even till now, I didn't don't joke with it. Fast forward to 2021 during my service year in Gusau, Zamfara State, my customer discovered that I always eat Groundnut, so he too began calling me Groundnut boy. Make I stop here. |
Pharaoh's birthday celebrations favoured the Chief Butler, as he was restored to his office. Pharaoh's dream favoured Joseph, as he was not only brought out from prison, he also became the Prime Minister of Egypt, far higher in rank and position than the one (Potiphar) who had thrown him there! My prayer for you: this regime shall favour you and every member of your family, as well as mine, in Jesus' name. Amen! (Gen. 40:20-21; 41:40-41) Shalom! |
"And the Lord was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian."Gen. 39:2. This also means that the presence has no regard for location. You may be in Zamfara and be far more prosperous and successful than somebody in Lagos or Port Harcourt. Your location does not matter! Just carry His presence. The economy or rate of inflation doesn't matter, either! Just have it. The Lord help us. |
As a Christian or believer, there's absolutely one thing you need to prosper in life. You don't need many things; just one. When you have it, you have entered into your rest. This means that, all your problems, worries, etc. will be gone! And what is this thing? It's the Presence of God. It puts you over and above! And no matter what challenge you may face, you will overcome. The presence of God is makes the difference in your life - career, business, family, etc. and causes you to stand out! It causes you to impact your world, your generation and generations to come. The presence makes you successful in all your endeavors. Ask Joseph. He was always on top, no matter what! Moses, Joshua, Samson, the apostles, etc. understood this. Go for His presence. And you will become invincible, never knowing defeat. How do you get it? Through prayers, you desire it. Through studying the Word. Through fellowship with the brethren. Shalom! |
Sexual immorality has become the bane of the world, especially among the youths. Young boys and girls now see it as a normal thing, which is absolutely wrong. No doubt, sex is a beautiful thing but it must be in the confines of marriage because God vehemently frowns at sexual intercourse committed by two unmarried people. Here are five reasons why you should run away from it: 1) Sexual immorality impedes your progress - Really, as a young man or woman, it slows down your progress and advancement in life. You may not realise it but that's the truth. It becomes a snare and net to your feet, dragging you backwards. 2) It makes your prayers not to be heard - For the one who goes about committing sexual immorality, your prayers to God become an abomination because He will not answer them, no matter how hard or long you pray. He just cannot hear you when you call unto Him for help. 3) Your glory is replaced with shame - SI causes your glory to become corrupted, resulting in calamity and shame. Instead of you excelling and succeeding, you struggle without making any headway in life. This shall not be your own story! 4) Your wisdom and understanding is withdrawn - If you are the type that was once a genius in your class, field or area of specialty, before long you become a dummy, and ultimately go into obscurity. 5) You destroy your soul - When you have sexual intercourse with someone that's not your spouse, you are literally destroying your soul with your own hand. That fellow becomes a walking corpse. (For he/she that liveth in pleasure is dead while he/she liveth) How terrible! Why not run away from it today and be free? For your body, is the temple of God. Grace, be relased unto you now to say NO to defiling your body! Shalom! |
To those of you thinking that your wife is a liability, I write to correct that erroneous and negative mindset. Your wife is not, if she ... 1) boosts your confidence - Sometimes, we may feel defeated and like a failure when the realities of the outside world hit us, and as a result, cave in or look for somewhere to hide our head and save face. However, if you have a wife who boosts the confidence in you and encourages you to never give up, then you have an asset! not a liability. 2) gives you breathtaking ideas - If you have a wife who daily offers you powerful ideas that causes you to change levels in your career or business, my guy, you have an asset! 3) supports you - The wife that supports you in every way - financially, emotionally, socially, careerically, etc., don't you ever think that she is a liability! Somebody that supports your vision for a better future? Anh.. anh,my gee! 4) cares for you and the children - To some women, managing the home and caring for the well-being of the home is foreign to them. However, this does not mean you should restrict your wife to the home. No. Nevertheless, the woman that prioritizes her home despite her busy schedule should never be seen as a liability. 5) prays for the home - These days, women do not really find the time to pray, instead, they go about partying and doing busybodies. But when you have a wife that prays for you and the children, my guy, hold that woman tight! Cherish her. Love her. Because not all wives know how to pray. Cheers ... |
We, staunch christians, hardly compromise our faith. So, when you find yourself in this kind of corruption-infested system, those at the top will try to choke the life out of you so that they will be able to carry out their NORMAL evil enterprise! Sadly, you won't be able to thrive in this kind of system if you don't join them. You will need greater grace to survive and thrive! It is well. Which corruption are they fighting ![]() |
Rip to Abel. From the look of things, it's like those evil men must have been targeting the deceased long before that actually day, since they knew he would never play the same card they do! He must have been a target! Actually, to me, this is one of the reasons I don't fancy "government jobs"! When I saw my colleagues applying for NDLEA, Immigration, Police, etc. I didn't join them! Not that I don't like the pay, but I sure know that if I eventually join the force, and I don't do what they do, you easily become a target!!! And one of the consequences of not being a part of them, is not even going to be dismissal from the job by those at the top, but even death!! Yes, those at the top will plan to eliminate the sheep (among them the wolves) completely! This is naija, a country where corruption has eaten DEEP, into the majority! So, to save face or head, I leave this kinds of jobs for them!! Make I no come put my life on the line. . . . |
Mine was in Rising Stars Academy, Damba, Zamfara State. Batch B 21/22 |
Of course, nobody is in support of what the Ekweremadu did, however, coming out openly to lambaste them could endanger her life. We should be wise as to how we react to happenings the moment we become celebrities, for instance. It is well. |
RIP to these great pple. |
After 150 days of torrential downpour, Scripture says that "And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters assuaged" (Gen. 8:1). This simply tells us that there is a wind of change blowing over your finances, relationships, marriages, and in our nation at large! No, it won't happen all at once; but gradually. Yes, gradually. And before long, there shall be a noticeable difference in all that pertains to you, your family, and this nation! As the waters decreased continually from the face of the earth, so shall evil decrease continually (forever) from you, your family, and our dear nation, Nigeria! So, brace up! Renew your hope in God. A wind of change is blowing! Shalom! |
Nice one bro! I celebrate you. And thank God for you. However, please stay focused and be consistent in your work. Don't allow anybody to deceive you that your coming out with a good grade doesn't matter; it really does! God will push you to the end and help you come out top! |
This song succinctly demonstrates the love of God for humanity. Please download and share. Thank you. https://on.soundcloud.com/c7afp |

This is the latest gospel song in the world. It demonstrates the love of God for humanity - the sufferings, pain, agony, shame, etc. - He went through this Easter season just to ensure our freedom or liberty from the hands of the devil, thereby giving us victory, riches, sound health, long life, favour, blessing, and above all, eternal life. Is Jesus not good? So for you and I, no more pain, sorrow, sickness, disease, poverty, or even premature death! Everything was nailed on the cross! Halleluyah! So what then should be our response for this act of love towards us? We'll also love Him and serve Him forever! This song captures it all. #If we no love Him, wetin we gain? Please download and share so that others too may be blessed. Thank you. Hit the link below https://on.soundcloud.com/c7afp |
