Yes, I have.

After my NYSC, I got a job in Abuja through a friend. The pay was so poor that despite working, I still had to call home for financial support just to survive the month. Eventually, I left and returned to Uyo.

By God's grace, one of my former bosses employed me, and things started looking up again. I worked there for about a year. Then, in January this year, barely two days after resuming from the Christmas break, we were called into a meeting and informed that the company's contract with the state government had been terminated. We were all asked to go home.

That day changed everything for me.

The job was my only source of income, and my house rent was already due. Within a short time, I lost my income, lost my apartment, and had to move in with my brother in Cross River State, who was also struggling to make ends meet.

I won't pretend it was easy. There were days I felt completely lost and broken. I prayed, fasted, and kept hoping for a breakthrough. I'm still rebuilding my life today.

So when people talk about going from grace to grass financially, I understand exactly what they mean. It is a painful experience that humbles you and changes the way you see life. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. But I also believe that difficult seasons do not last forever, and I trust that better days are ahead.

As I write this, I am still actively seeking employment and opportunities. If anyone here knows of any opening or is willing to give me a chance, I would be deeply grateful. I am ready to work, learn, and prove myself. My sincere hope is that sharing my experience might reach someone who can help me get back on my feet.

When the 2025/26 Premier league season kicked-off last year, every football fan, club, player, and coach/manager got excited.

But after five EPL matches for Aston villa, you really needed to see Unai Emery's results on that particular day: zero wins, three draws and two lost!

However, as the league entered the second phase, they began to dwindle, drop down in form - less goals, less fighting spirit!

Until they met Man City and lost! It was as if their walls came down that day! Fear was all over their faces, even the fans worldwide!

But thank God for Declan Rice Shinkafa!! Who gave them HOPE!! And shouted that it was not all over even though they had just lost to City!!!

And so, Gunners continued to push, to weather the storm, to press!! They didn't give up!

Yesterday, they were crowned C H A M P I O N S!! Of England!!

And guess what? They still have a chance to make it double!

Moral .......

In life, never give up! Keep moving. No matter the storms, challenges, circumstances, difficulties!! Keep pressing!!

I know so many areas in our lives beg for attention and priority especially as singles. We pray daily to God for prosperity, favour, open doors, success, and so on.

But when last did you remember to pray for your unborn children, and even your future wife or husband.

For this post, I'm more concerned or deliberate about your children.

As someone who has been in the teaching line for years, the rate at which some "evil teachers" talk down on bad or poor pupils or students, thereby making them completely lose their self-esteem or confidence, you would immediately feel the urge or hunger to pray for your unborn children.

You will agree with me that intelligence and other great virtues are inherited from parents. However, these teachers seem or ignore that fact.

My point: Pray for your unborn children too, as you pray for yourself. Pray that God will bless them with wisdom, quick understanding, and knowledge; that God will protect them from evil friends; that they will not die untimely; that they will excel in everything they set out to do; and so on and so forth.

Always remember this obvious truth: as a single guy or lady, your children are your future. So pray for them everyday.

Off the top of your head, do you remember who topped the table of the league phase last season? That's how irrelevant it can be if you don't win the finals. Which is very possible. Everyone remembers PSG got into the knockouts through the playoffs but very few remembers Liverpool were the best team during the league phase. As Burna Boy said, if you no succeed e go be like say you no try, you go explain tire, NO EVIDENCE. There's only one evidence of success for a champions league campaign. That's being crowned champion, every other thing na side attraction.
