A Construction Supervisor from the 27th Floor of a Building was calling a Worker on d Ground Floor. Because of the noise the Worker did not hear his Call. To draw the Attention of the worker, the Supervisor threw a 200 Naira note in Front of Worker. The worker picked up the Note, put it in His Pocket and continued to Work. Again to draw the attention of the worker the Supervisor threw 1000 Naira note & the Worker this time quickly picked it and put in his pocket. Now the Supervisor picked a small Stone and threw it at the Worker. The Stone hit the Worker. This time the Worker looked Up and the Supervisor was now able to Communicate with Him. Now think for a Second... God wants to Communicate with Us, but We are too Busy doing our daily Jobs. Then, He gives Us Small Gifts & Big Gifts...... We just keep them ... We keep on enjoying the gifts without Thanking Him, We just say We are LUCKY. And when we are Hit with a Small Stone, which We call PROBLEMS, then we remember God. That's when We look Up to Pray and Communicate wit Him. God gives and forgives but We get and forget.... (Let's change our Attitude don't wait for stones to be thrown...) Make it a point to Always be thankful. If indeed you are grateful say THANK YOU JESUS. Good morning friends.

A teacher in New York was teaching her class about bullying and gave them the following exercise to perform. She had the children take a piece of paper and told them to crumple it up, stamp on it and really mess it up but do not rip it. Then she had them unfold the paper, smooth it out and look at how scarred and dirty is was. She then told them to tell it they?re sorry. Now even though they said they were sorry and tried to fix the paper, she pointed out all the scars they left behind. And that those scars will never go away no matter how hard they tried to fix it. That is what happens when a child bully?s another child, they may say they?re sorry but the scars are there forever. The looks on the faces of the children in the classroom told her the message hit home. Pass it on or better yet, if you're a parent or a teacher, do it with your child/children.
PoliticsRe: Gbajabiamila Replies Tambuwal, Says, “i’ve Moved On” by igbinigiejeff(m): 2:45pm On Aug 12, 2015
It's not everything you do as a politician that you reveal to the public especially when you are still in the game.
Such a thing is reserved for one's memoirs when one is no longer involved in politics.
That's what Governor Tambuwwal should have done when he said he worked behind the scene to facilitate the emergence of Yakubu Dogara as Speaker of the Lower Parliament.
He even said it openly that he had actually preferred Dogara to Gbajabiamilla long even before the race to the speakership began.
Anyone who knows a bit about the politics of this country in the last five years will know the alliances that have brought Femi and Tambuwwal together.
Good, there's no permanent friend in politics. Only interest. But this is not an absolute truism.
Given the fact that Tambuwwal might need Femi to get some stuff done for him later, to me, it's politically incorrect for him to have made that open statement.
Of course every discerning political observer knows he worked for Dogara behind the scene. An experienced politician would have been more diplomatic in his utterances.
The game continues!
I may be wrong in my observation though

Very True!
FamilyHoney," I Love Burned Toast." by igbinigiejeff(op): 9:07pm On Aug 10, 2015
When I was a kid, my Mom liked to cook food and every now & then I remember she used to cook for us. One night in particular when she had made dinner after a long hard day at work, Mom placed a plate of bread jam and extremely burned toast in front of my dad. I was waiting to see if anyone noticed the burnt toast. But Dad just ate his toast and asked me how was my day at school. I don't remember what I told him that night, but I do remember I heard Mom apologizing to dad for burning the toast. And I'll never forget what he said: "Honey, I love burned toast." Later that night, I went to kiss Daddy good night and I asked him if he really liked his toast burned. He wrapped me in his arms and said, "Your momma put in a long hard day at work today and she was really tired. And besides, A burnt toast never hurts anyone but harsh words do!" You know, life is full of imperfect things and imperfect people I'm not the best at hardly anything, and I forget birthdays and anniversaries just like everyone else. What I've learned over the years, is that learning to accept each others faults and choosing to celebrate each other?s differences, is one of the most important keys to creating a healthy, growing, and lasting relationship. Life is too short to wake up with regrets. Love the people who treat you right and have compassion for the ones who don't. ENJOY LIFE NOW. Have a beautiful day.

This morning, I read a story of a king in one of the books in my room, this King had a male servant who, in all circumstances always said to him; My king, do not be discouraged because everything God does is perfect, no mistakes. One day, they went hunting and a wild animal attacked the king, the servant managed to kill the animal but couldn't prevent his majesty from losing a finger. Furious and without showing gratitude, the King said; if God was good, I would not have been attacked and lost one finger. The servant replied, 'despite all these things, I can only tell you that God is good and everything He does is perfect, He is never wrong'. Outraged by the response, the king ordered the arrest of his servant. While being taken to prison, he told the king again, God is Good & Perfect. Another day, the king left alone for another hunt and was captured by savages who use human beings for sacrifice. On the altar, the savages found out that the king didn't have one finger in place, he was released because he was considered not "complete" to be offered to the gods. On his return to the palace, he ordered the release of his servant and said; My friend, God was really good to me. I was almost killed but for lack of a single finger, I was let go. But I have a question; If God is so good, why did He allow me to put you in prison? His servant replied; My king, if I had not been put in prison, I would have gone with you, and would have been sacrificed, because I have no missing finger. Everything God does is perfect, He is never wrong. Often time's i always complain about life, and the negative things that happen to me,i don't know of u, forgetting that everything happens for a purpose. God is good and perfect!!The song "It Is Well With My Soul" was written by a successful Christian lawyer Heratio Spafford, his only son died at age 4 in 1871,in 1872,d great Chicago fire wiped out his vast estate made from a successful legal career,in 1873 he sent his wife & 4 daughters over 2 Europe on a summer trip on d ill fated ss ville du Havre. Since he had a lot of work to do, he planned to join them later. The Ship sank and he lost his 4 daughters with d wife being the only survivor, she sent him a famous telegram which simply read,SAVED ALONE.... On His return home, his Law firm was burned down and the insurance refused to pay, they said "It's An Act Of God". He had no money to pay for his house and no work, he also lost his house. Then while sitting and thinking what's happening to him, being a spiritual person, he wrote a song - whatever my Lord, you have taught me to say - It is well, it is well with my soul. My dear friend, a good attitude will determine your altitude. When you look at your life, career, job or family life, what do you say? Do you praise God? Do you blame the devil? A good attitude towards God makes Him move on your behalf. Just sit down and say, Today God, it is well with my soul, I am thankful I had a peaceful sleep, I am thankful I am alive with possibilities, I am thankful I have a roof over me, I am thankful I have a job, I am thankful that I have Family and Friends. Above all, I am thankful that I have the Lord Jesus Christ on my side. Be blessed and don't be envious or shocked when others are prospering because you don't know what they have been through to get there (test, trials and tribulation) so thank God for what you have. "Little is much when God is in it. It Is Well With My Soul! Touch someones life with this message. God has seen your struggling's, God says it's over, remain blessed.

This could have been a wise decision-but it was farthest from our mind ;My ambition,My pride,My destiny and above all, the fact that others had completed this task successfully spurred me on. I decided to be a survivor. In fact, three D's became my guiding theme.......Desire,Dedication and Determination.
I know i needed to generate and sustain the desire to live and to recognise my true potential. Then i had to dedicate myself to that concept. Determination alone would give me the victory. I resolve never to surrender!

Libya Here We Come!

The Socialist people's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya is a conuntry in Northern Africa.it was an Italian colony from 1911 until the second world war and became independent in 1951.In 1960 colonel Muammar al-Qaddafi became the leader of Libya. He established the Arab Socialist Union (ASU)as the only party. The governments of United States and Europe have criticised Qaddafi for supporting terrorism world wide. In 1996 the United State bombed Tripoli which is the capital and city of Benghazi in retaliation for terrorist attacks.
Libya exports oil. it's a member of OPEC,The Arab League. Muammar Qaddafi was one time Chairman Organisation of African Unity(OAU)which Libya was a member. Currently Muammar Qaddafi is a dead.
Libyan's are very accommodating to foreign visitors provided you don't go against their Islamic Religion; They speak Arabic as language with a population of four million people.
On arrival in Libya,we had no money; We had to stop here as we could not move further that moment. We had to look for something to do for money. We worked"As shoe cobblers;Barbers, Hawkers and even Prostitution for the girls. Our stay in Libya lasted for one month,so as to put ourselves together for the journey ahead to Algeria.

EDO's

Very few relationships in life are permanent. Many are functional, formed to achieve a certain purpose by combining certain strength until goal is attained and then no longer serve the best interest of either party.
When goals or circumstances change, the players often change as well. New players come on the stage with new roles and other players leave the stage to be seen no more.
How many relationships in your life have reached the point where it is time for you and the other person to move on?
People are who they are. They are going to do what they are going to do. Each person has his or her own plan, and you can't change it. Let them go.
Edos was a Southern Nigerian boy who over came ambition and pride. He realised he could fulfil his destiny in Nigeria. So he left to make this same journey in a legal way.
He shed tears like a baby and called his parents out of desperation to Send him money to return to Nigeria and they did. The day he left,we had mixed feelings, some were laughing others were quite but he went back to Nigeria where he knew he would be safe.

The distance from Benin to kano is approximately 1,060 kilometres by road. Kano is the commercial city of Northern Nigeria;it's a base for most cottage industries. The major languages of communication are Hausa, Fulani and English. Fifty percent of the people are Muslim by Religion. The people of Kano are peaceful, quiet and law abiding.
At Kano we met other 'route consultant' who also brought their own different travellers. it was like a point were all illegal travellers met before heading for their journey. Our stay in kano lasted 7 days.
Here we gathered our food items. Garri, Groundnut and 2 litres of water were the bulk of our shopping. No one remembered to take medicines along,we felt we were going far away from illnesses in Nigeria;"typhoid,Malaria"...and the rest.
At the Kano park we boarded seven trucks. Incidentally, not all the people on those trucks were for this unfortunate journey;some were traders, some were drugs dealers, while others were cattle farmers who on their way would alight at their various villages.
We all minded our own business because we were warned that "making friends or creating familiarity with anyone could endanger us,if that person run into trouble".These trucks took us half way through our journey on the motorable path. The final entry into the main route was to be done on foot.

Benin is the capital city of Edo state,an inland state in south-south Nigeria and it's home to several ethnic groups;among them are the Bini,Esan,Afema and Ijaw. A lot of these communities in the state can trace their roots to the ancient Benin kingdom.
The Benin people are full of life, well cultured and mannered. They love to stay in their state to work for their money, but there are no jobs! The city has various higher institutions and colleges and the likes,it also has one of the best universities in Nigeria"where people are trained and qualified to pass-out".
Youth graduate from these institutions,"but,no Jobs;No industries.
The only viable and popular business that few highly connected hard hearted citizens do then was running a (travelling Agency)whether "legal or illegal".
They all called themselves travelling agents. The only thing talked about on the street s, at home or on the phone then was Europe and how to get there! What mattered to any one were how many brothers and sisters you had there. People sold houses and cars for their children to get there; But I had nobody to sell a house or a car for me to go there. Then it happened! It was a chance meeting that would change my life. As it was my usual practice to driver slowly until i found a passenger to carry in my taxi, that was how i drove that fateful day thrown Adesuwa Road G.R.A, Benin City.A huge tall dark man puting on a long dark suit with a hat on,holding a walking stick and a brief-case in his hand, with a bad look on his face, signaled me to stop.He was most odd that you would not like to do anything with such a person.I stopped.

This story describes the beginning of a young man's personal journey. It began when he was frustrated and thought he could travel from the west coast of Africa to Spain illegally through the desert about a distance of 2,000 miles. That trip across countries, led to an unexpected dangerous confrontation with reality deep in the heart of the sahara desert. He would never be the same again;haven't learnt the meaning of life and the critical importance of courage, and persistence and the acceptance of total responsibility for one's very action.

HOW IT ALL STARTED
Right from my early days,I had always dreamt of being rich and great. This was more so as my beginning was very humble. I had always wanted to be like other respected and recognised people in our neighbourhood.
" Joe", as close friends and people will fondly called me, was not the person to be satisfied by what he had then. I was a believer of everything is possible as every sixteen year old kid would belief, maybe because of the motivational books and literature I spent hours in reading and searching for solutions to the overwhelming poverty around us.
....... To be continued

I am from a large polygamous family. I'm the first son with six siblings from my mother; My father was a local farmer who could not support his family from the crops of his farm because the harvest was usually poor due to lack of money to purchase fertilizers and other farming implements.
As the the custom where i come from in the southern part of Nigeria where large polygamous family like my own find it hard to survive, every body was on his own except for the mercy of the mothers. How far could my mother help to take care of and my six siblings and i,although she tried to make her children happy by providing what they want she could afford. she was hard working, she cultivated cassava and groundnuts for sale to make sure her children ate and were well taken care off. In all,she was a strong disciplinarian,a woman of prayer and a believer of destiny.
...........To be Continued

After years of searching and reading i came to understand that "the key to success is for you to set a one great challenging goal and be prepared to pay the price, overcome any obstacle and persist through any difficulty, until you finally achieve it".There and then i,made up my mind to get myself educated,by making the move to gain admission into one Nigerian universities.
Such a plan in other countries especially developed nations should have been plain sailing,"but not here in Nigeria", and certainly not the university i attended.
...........To Be Continued.

Everything that could go wrong went wrong. At a point i thought i was jinxed, yes;it looked like i was under a spell! No,my friend,i was not alone ;My fellow campus mates had the same problems.
What were the Problems?
They came in all shapes and sizes with different names too. Students unrest with the resultant riots were a regular occurrence, often it ended in school closure;don't even mention cult activities as good looking young men were becoming monsters overnight, such that violence become the order of the day! Each problem resulted in the locking of the school gates and every body was usually asked to go home.
..............To be Continued

We would spend endless weeks and months at home making our lives miserable and after several months they would recall the students, but before you we could settle down we would again be confronted with the same situation. The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU)or Non Academic Staff Union of Universities go on strike frequently, hence you find a program design for four years lasting six or seven years;you can imagine what it was for medical students
Meanwhile,my relations-half brothers and sisters who had abandoned their education and traveled abroad were as we call it, "making it".They would come back from abroad ''loaded''parading different flashy cars and building the latest houses.

I found myself in the valley of decision. I finally decided to go cap in hand to my relations and friends who were abroad seeking their help,so has to join them there. Sadly they gave me the "turn around",i became very desperate and resorted to taxi driving in the city of Benin.

Literature180 Days To Spain by igbinigiejeff(op):
