5minsmadness: |
WHAT A FAKE WORLD! A child comes into the world crying; Everyone is rejoicing. He starts growing; Everyone loves him and desires to carry him and call him nice names. He starts trying to succeed and people are encouraging him to rise up; But when he starts making progress, the problem starts; Some will become jealous, looking for how to pull him down. He dares them and steps on their toes to climb higher; They hate him and curse him and call him names!Even wishing him dead. Unfortunately he dies and everyone starts crying. They start saying wonderful things about him; He was a good man. He was nice! He was faithful...... But if I may ask!Why will he suddenly become good after death? Will anyone give his/her life for this man to come back to life? What if a miracle happens and the man starts rising again from the grave...... Wow! Everyone will jump up and run for their lives........ Hahahaha; What a fake world! Aren't this world and the people fake? Pretence and deception everywhere; I pray for Someone reading this now;Every close enemy that pretend to love you, shall die....In name of Jesus.

Am not sure this from Rotimi Amaechi! |
A young couple moved into a new neighbourhood. The next morning while eating breakfast, the young woman saw her neighbour through the window hanging the wash outside. "That laundry is not clean," she said. "She doesn't know how to wash correctly. Perhaps she needs better laundry soap". Her husband looked on, but remained silent. Every time the neighbour would hang laundry to dry, the young woman would make the same comments. About one month later, the woman was surprised to see nice clean wash on the line and said to her husband: "Look, she has learnt how to wash correctly. I wonder who taught her this!" The husband replied: "I got up early this morning and cleaned our windows." And so it is with life. What we see when watching others depends on the purity of the window through which we look. Easy to discuss other people, their lives and things that don't really concern us. Yet we tend to forget- our window isn't that clean after all. Clean up your window! May Almighty God give us the strength, humility and courage to work on our faults first rather than seeing the faults in others and castigating them. |
We believe investment in landed property is one of the most sure way of investment as it has never lost it's value. In Nigeria where the population is growing at an exponential rate, necessitating the expansion of human habitation into rural locations, powered by a growing middle class and improved economy. Houses are springing up everywhere in the city, cost very high, this why we have gotten lands for development in a well secured and serene environment to raise the standard of living without sacrificing the future generation by engaging ecologically sustainable construction methods, focusing on building housing for all Nigerian irrespective of status, tribe or religious affiliation of their dreams. This is why we have taking great pains to investigate, ask lots of questions and follow up on all information about a land we like you to acquire. This because to us a good name is better than gold. We like you to buy and develop; It's a place were you buy land and have pace of mind. A place were you are sure you own the land, with full documentation signed by all concerned. A place you can live in peace and happiness. We have been locked in negotiations since two months ago;Now they have agreed to sell. We have seen the land,i will like us to start buying from it. This land is a virgin land, never surveyed, never measured. The land is owned by a community and they all agree to sell at my price. Good one brother! To hear from God you need to be a lover of prayer and lover of God's word. Read the word and meditate on it......Read, Joshua 1v8.What ever it is Let me know. |
This may not be the best time for me to write on this because of misinterpretations, but I can no longer resist the push. "Husband Scarcity" has become one of the challenges faced by many young girls today. If you go to prayer houses, majority of the intentions are prayer for a life partner. And this calls for concern. Casting our minds back to the time of our mothers and grandmothers, was there really much of a "Husband Scarcity" problem? Or, maybe there were more men than women then, or there was an adequate corresponding numbers of both genders. I don't think so. Maybe then, the women had values and were prepared to build a home and not park into a built home. Then, once a young man comes of age and can at least feed himself and his wife, he goes out in search of a wife and the woman really appreciates him and helps him to build a future. What am I really trying to say? We created what we now see as "Husband Scarcity" for ourselves. Today, the reverse is the case. Ask an average girl to define her dream husband; you get things like "he has to be tall, handsome, fair, and rich, own a house at least, and be presentable" and then she adds "God fearing" in order not to sound so worldly. Then, check the number of girls around you and the number of men that meet that standard, and you will see the problem. You hear girls say, "I cannot suffer in my father's house and then go and start suffering with a man." What a wonderful dream! What if from the beginning, you have everything you want and there is no suffering, and later in the marriage, the table turns around, then comes suffering? Will you run away? No one prays for suffering, but it is good to start small and end big, than start big and end small. The problem is that the description majority of girls give of their ideal man is virtually the same. When 50 girls want the same kind of man and the man that fits what they want is just 1 man, and the man can only pick one. Then, what becomes of 49 others? They simply start lamenting of "Husband Scarcity". Another irony of our time is that it is hard, due to the face of our economy to find a man who is of marriage age who possesses all those things these ladies want, legally (except those involved in Internet fraud); even the number of those in Internet fraud is not enough to match all those searching for already made husbands. If you look around, majority of the ladies of substance, of good value and virtue, who are ready to build a home with a man who has prospects, are married and not complaining of husband scarcity. The easiest way to find a husband now, is to change your view of who a husband is. A husband is that man God made and then saw that it may be hard for him to really actualize his purpose for making him, without a help mate and then made the woman and gave to him, and he felt complete and fulfilled. MARRIAGE IS NOT A POVERTY ALLEVIATION PROGRAM. It is a mission of building the family of God here on earth. For those who see marriage as a way out of poverty, it is a way into bondage. Women are HOME BUILDERS, not HOME WARMERS... DON'T CONFUSE A MAN'S PATH WITH HIS DESTINY. Where he is today, may only be a route to where God has destined him to be tomorrow. Another truth is that YOU MAY BE THE ONLY FAST MEANS TO THAT HIS DESTINATION. Join in alleviating "husband scarcity". PICK UP THE RIGHT VALUES. I am not saying that you should pick anyone that comes your way and talks of marriage, not all men are husband materials. What I am saying is that you should stop setting your standard on material acquisitions or physical appearances. Look beyond the physical. WHAT MAKES A MAN WHO HE IS, IS NOT WHAT HE OWNS OR HOW HE LOOKS, IT IS WHAT HE IS MADE UP OF. And that which he is made of is, most times, not seen with the physical eyes, only its effects can be seen. Marriage is a permanent thing. Whatever is seen is temporal and that which is not seen is permanent. @ Yusuf Buhkhari |

Am beginning to have a second look at the president now. |
For once, we have a leader who understands what it means to be President. A man who survived a coup and lost 3 elections really has it all to prove. And he will only appoint those whom he trusts. I only hope he applies a little wisdom in his next appointments to douse the tension of ethnic sentiments that's beginning to fester. |

A motivating story.....A well-known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a $100 note. In the room of about 180 people, he asked, ?Who would like this $100?? Hands started going up. He said, ?I am going to give this $100 to one of you but first, let me do this. He crumpled up the $100 note in his hand. He then asked, ?Who still wants it?? Still hands went up in the air. Well, he replied ?what if I do this?? And he dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty. ?Now, who still wants it?? Still hands went up in the air. ?My friends, we have learned a very valuable lesson, no matter what I did to this money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value, and it is still worth $100.? Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and circumstances that come our way. We feel as though we are worthless! You should know that no matter what happens, your value is intact and that makes you confident and strong. Remember, your worth is in Who You Are! |
A preacher was driving home one night with his wife and two daughters in the car. It was raining and dark and because of the intensity of the rain he could hardly see past his headlights. On the way he had to drive over a huge bridge. There were signs posted all along the bridge that said "DO NOT PICK HITCH-HIKERS." There was an institute for the criminally insane near the base of the bridge and sometimes people would escape from it and try to hitch a ride. On this particular night, as he turned his car on to the bridge, he had to drive exceptionally slow because he could hardly see the road. Somewhere near the top of the bridge a man suddenly appeared in the headlights. He was soaked, standing in the middle of the road with his shirt off frantically waving it over his head and screaming. This preacher's wife began to say, "Oh please don't stop, try to drive around him!" But the man was unavoidable and there was nowhere for the car to go to miss him. So he had to stop the car and as soon as he did, the man slapped his hand down on the hood of the car and was screaming at the top of his lungs. The preacher looked over at his wife and said to lock the door after him and not to unlock it until he returned. His family was now crying and pleading with him not to get out of the car. He opened the door and stepped outside...He was immediately soaked from the rain. As he approached the front of the car to grab the man, all of a sudden he could make out what the man was screaming, "THE BRIDGE IS OUT! THE BRIDGE IS OUT! A BUS LOAD OF KIDS JUST WENT OVER!" As these words registered in the pastor's mind, he looked back in the car at his wife and two daughters. He wrapped his arm around the man and wept in gratitude. The preacher stood there with the man for the next half-hour in the middle of the road, waving his jacket above his head screaming."THE BRIDGE IS OUT! THE BRIDGE IS OUT!"For a lost and a dying world, "THE BRIDGE IS OUT!"For a people heading to a Christless Eternity,"THE BRIDGE IS OUT!"where are the men and the women who will stand in the middle of the road and forbid people to perish ?HELL HAS OPENED IT'S MOUTH WIDE AND MANY ARE SPEEDING INTO IT Where are those who will stand in the gap,on the streets, the highways and the byways to forbid multitudes with the Gospel of JESUS CHRIST from going to such a horrible place? SPREAD THE GOSPEL. |
