kropotkin33:Actually: it very much is. There's a reason why the most poverty stricken regions in the world have a severe infestation of crime. Lol. "One-Nigeria" though right, gotta pinpoint the blame on the victims trying to survive, not the Ogas looting the country. |
annnikky:Notice how those "one-nigeria" people don't talk about this. When Nmandi Kanu wants Biafra though, he's called a terrorist. Long Live Biafra!!!!!!! |
signz:I also want to add, indolence to establish manufacturing firms here. All of our commodities are imported, thus making our currency remarkably weak in the international market. If you truly believe in "one-Nigeria", I suggest doing something as opposed to writing rubbish, because we are headed to what Venezuela has become now. |
lightblazingnow:Are you not confident in Northern survival or prosperity without Igbos or Yoruba? |

Constitutions can elastically amend, remember that. Syria is a totally different ballgame. For the most part, I feel an affinity towards the North, they'll be fending off Boko Haram by themselves. I say we establish a plan for them to become militarily self-sufficient, and wave our goodbyes. Nigeria will be a part of the history books like the Austria-Hungarian empire. |
And live in perpetual bondage and stand helplessly whilst my Igbo brothers & sisters suffer under Muslim hegemony? No thank you, Biafra must emerge from the ashes. I will give NO acknowledgement to another Northerner in my lifespan when Biafra arrives. (: |
Bridget95:oh my god, I hate Nigeria even more now. One of the most pathetic, worthless, useless governments. They tell you scream "One-Nigeria" and be proud. I am not even ashamed of it anymore, I wanna' split from there. |
mykeljosef:HAHAHA! |
Governments in other parts of the world protect their citizens, Nigeria has failed to do this at home and abroad. These last previous weeks, Indians remorselessly and savagely attacked Nigerians, leaving them in a crippled and disfigured form. India is dictated by an atrocious caste system, anybody with a color shade darker than the quintessential "Aryan" Indians are extremely subjugated. They aren't allowed to breed, touch, or whiff air in the same vicinity as their more lighter "Aryan" Indians. When Africans do migrate to India for cheap IT courses, or maybe even just entrepreneurial opportunities, they are walking into a literal slaughterhouse. The Nigerian embassy situated in India, failed to respond to the attacks. The AU responded, an entity consisting of non-Nigerians and Arabs, but the Nigerian government feigned as nothing ever has happened. Africans, stay far away from India as humanely possible. Especially Nigerians, you do not have a government that cares about you, STAY FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE. When people say "zoological country", I now see why. Cheers family.

Lionessza:Well said! |
KenyaMan111:It's becoming a fascination of mine on why we're so docile to foreigners. We'd doubtlessly quarrel with our brother for being of a different "tribe", but when it comes to foreigners, nothing but glaringly awkward silence. You have some guy who I reckon didn't even read the post talking about "cute babies". In Zambia, a Chinese miner shot an African co-worker; the government didn't give him a death penalty or life imprisonment. He went back to China with impunity. "Sigh", this is what I was born into. |
My only question is why aren't we as passionate about preserving Black African genetic purity as they are? They're allowed to freely marry our women, own land, segregate themselves in gated communities, and we smile at them. The very minute we marry one of their women, The top advisory board of the Chinese government wants us all gone because we're "invading". |
Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, the top advisory board of China, is in a state of deep trepidation over the ever-growing African population in China that are now rapidly inter-racially marrying ethnic Chinese women. Demands aimed at the Chinese government to “strictly control the African people living in Guangdong and other places.” have been put forth. Pan Qinglin, an affiliate beautifully added “Black brothers often travel in droves; they are out at night out on the streets, nightclubs, and remote areas. They engage in drug trafficking, harassment of women, and fighting, which seriously disturbs law and order in Guangzhou… Africans have a high rate of AIDS and the Ebola virus that can be transmitted via body fluids… If their population [keeps growing], China will change from a nation-state to an immigration country, from a yellow country to a black-and-yellow country.” An excerpt from the article: "On social media, the Chinese response has been overwhelmingly supportive, with many commenters echoing Pan’s fears. In a forum dedicated to discussions about black people in Guangdong on Baidu Tieba—an online community focused on internet search results—many participants agreed that China was facing a “black invasion.” One commenter called on Chinese people not to let “thousands of years of Chinese blood become polluted.” It was an interesting read, who knew a country comprised of 2 billion people (more than Africa combined) were frightened of an "invasion". |
KingEbukasBlog:Taking a abrupt digression from this dispute, the discrepancies in euhemerisms is quite a beauty. I actually sense some compatibilities with deistism to my irreligious stance. If God exists, because it would be intellectually insensible to denounce him altogether. We humans are preposterously pompous to believe that he gives a shred of care about us. Maybe I will do more research. |
stonemasonn:Define "good politics"? |
Pidgin2:Thank you for the good laugh. HAHAHAHA! Have a good day my friend (: |
Pidgin2:You have an obfuscated perception of Nigeria, naming small territories isn't grasping Nigeria in its entirety. Trust me I can find "some" states in Somalia that are functioning too. Nigeria is any government's wet dream. Population, oil, arable land, yet it has failed. MISERABLY. Let's actually compare Nigeria to other oil-producing countries if you think I am just a casual hate-monger. Qatar? Most famous tourist destination. Each civilians makes 93,714.06 dollars or 28,639,016.74 Naira. Russia? Arguably second strongest nation. Rebuilt its nation back in 20 years. Iran? Even though it's situated in the most dangerous regions in the world, it's economy is catching up to Nigeria, even though Nigeria has longer functioning government. Can you at least ask yourself what will become of Nigeria when oil is not needed anymore? Will countries still show it support? Will Buhari and other rich politicians stay and help build the Nigeria? Pick up the passport, and see what we see.

KenyaMan111:1. "Why don't all tribes just unite?" If you even insinuate that there might be a problem with the system or Nigeria itself, the politician's nominal tribe will fortify the leader and excoriate you endlessly. You get labeled as a "tribalist". 2. "I don't know if I should be impressed or depressed that a country can mess up that much oil in its ground." Chief, for me, it doesn't really bother me or surprise me anymore. It's a consistent African thing. 3. "If you do not want them, don't give them to white man to benefit off them, send them eastwards to Kenya. Thank you." Pick your choice, we have frustrated, underpaid engineers, chemists, athletes. |
TheStronghold:Exactly, this single man could increase the Nigerian GDP by billion & billions. Emphasize anti-corruption. Use oil money as a means to diversify the economy instead of Buhari's salary, and you have Nigeria becoming a world power in about 6-10 years surpassing Russia. I am happy the USA is using this brilliant man at least. |
Nigeria is a very capable region, with really dumb dumb animals as presidents. Imagine if this guy was subsidized and given a small office. He'd generate billions for Nigeria, who'd sell that tech to other countries. |
blues20:Federation, or regionalism is a good start, I agree. |
felixomor:Correct my paddy. You first have to prove the existence of something, then it's safe to construct reasons why he/she/they is "apart" from Earth. You cannot do one without the other. If you do, then we're crossing into preternatural territory. We might as well be discussing why Superman doesn't come and save Nigeria from evil. Good day. (: |
KingEbukasBlog:It's a postulation that a omniscient transcendental being exists but wants to remain apart from his creations, due to his own volition or he just too occupied too care, whatever the reason may be. The thing about postulations, is that you can utilize it as a straw-man argument, but it makes little to no sense if you look at it from a particular angle. "I have never seen a unicorn or a leprechaun, so I am going to assume it's because they do not want to reveal themselves." That's akin to the argument you're trying to establish. We look at such stories from a scientific perspective. Does God exist. Maybe, but it's 0.00000000001% likely. It's not provable, because it's an abstract creation inside the head. Like unicorns or ghosts, they probably 0.000000000001% exist who knows. |
zanogo:Look at it from this angle. For the last 40 years "my people" were prohibited and barred from the top ranks of politics, military, and other civically crucial jobs. Now the elitists that were ruling in these positions, "your people", have killed the country and now it's not growing, but de-growing. If my people commit crime or do other illicit things to receive money to feed their families because Nigeria is a failed, failed state. You do not blame the people committing the crime, you blame the crazy indviduals that put them in the situation. "my people" are simply trying to feed their kids. |
KingEbukasBlog:No. The mere thought that God exists but remains apart from the universe is nothing more than a postulation. Postulations similar to that are incoherent if you perceive it from a certain angle. I will give an example. I repeated earlier that there's as much evidence for mermaids as there is for God, thus it makes perfect sense to substitute mermaids in my example. The reason why mermaids have yet to reveal themselves to the world is because they remain apart from the veridical world. The sensibility of an existential God, wandering in another spectrum of the universe, not batting an eye at Earth seems like reformative stance theists have taken to still cling on to their religious upbringings in the 21st century. It's eerily similar to agnosticism actually. |
KingEbukasBlog:We'll keep repeating these points until they're diligently instilled in the average theist's mind. There's as much evidence for mermaids as there is for God. |
EnigmaticEnigma:Beautifully written; Once the African man is awakened to the fact that people are living like kings in their own land in other regions of the world, the better. People would kill for the natural resources Africa has, Europe was going to war with other Europeans for it in the 18th century. Now it's greedy politicians like Mugabe, Zuma, Museveni stealing it away, and some are still building mud houses. They're not even building their roads anymore, China as taken that job. HOW CAN YOU BE PROUD WHEN ANOTHER MAN IS BUILDING YOUR ROADS AND INFRASTRUCTURE. Sadly, I cannot blame those that look down on Africans. |
@OP Don't you think it's exceptionally odd, that God revealed himself thousands upon thousands of years ago to men roaming in desserts, and seemingly perished from existence after that? Ex: Mohammad was in a cave when he saw the putative "Angel" Gabriel who was used as an intermediary messenger for God. It's been awhile since I have read the bible, but Moses supposedly observed God's back from afar in the dessert. Now, the question is, could all of these men, in desserts, thousands of years ago have seen God or communicated with Angels? If your answer yes, you're displaying your extreme naïvety. I concur a different hypothesis, maybe they were hallucinating, or were suffering horrendously from schizophrenia. Secondly, I think you're thoroughly misunderstanding science and its purposefulness. It's not some tool exclusively used to make up explanations of the whys or whats of the world like religion or "faith". It's a methodology utilized to propound an idea and keenly test out that said idea. For example, when it rains. It's not because "God" is in a tempestuous mood, like religion has you believe. It's because water has evaporated and condensed into clouds, these cloudy formations after embarking on maximum capacity, simply cannot hold anymore water, thus releasing it back onto Earth. You can test this theory by forming clouds at a laboratory. Ancient Greece grew out of Greek mythology, Iran |
Now, that I am in America and look at Nigeria retrospectively. It's like looking back at a jungle. It'll take a miracle for me to return lol. Saying you're Nigerian in other African countries might give you prestige points in Africa, but here everyone laughs. Heck, I'd spit at you if you arrogantly boasted about being Nigerian to my face. I will gladly relocate to Biafra though. Good days people. (: |
Thank you, but no thank you. My dear paddy, even the most zealous "One-Nigeria" advocate knows deep down, this Nigeria thing is a sick, sick joke the British put together. You see, Nigeria has a faux "government". As Indians kill, maim, and brutalise Nigerians in India, the Nigerian embassy IN INDIA doesn't even acknowledge it. Our current leader was an ex-military general, and a notable coupist, ah (: the ideal president to ignite and sustain a prosperous economy (sarcasm). Incorrigible corruption, nepotism ... I could keep going. Eternally. Saudi Arabia is diversifying its economy, Qatar is diversifying its economy. Nigeria is having babies and de-growing. I compare passionate Nigerians to nihilistic parachutists. They see the inevitability of the treachery ahead. They do not care, or are simply too pompous to descend back to reality, and this pomposity is making them drag as many causalities as possible. Biafra, Yorubaland (I admire the Yoruba tribe and believe they can create a successful government), and whatever becomes of the North can happily sit side-by-side in ECOWAS. |

False patriots. If you are a true patriot, how can you be proud of this naija?
