For a Christian to remotely consider marrying someone of a different faith means they're still living in darkness or unbelief. Fullstop.

What many are not aware of is that these buildings are essentially ceramic materials which give you no warning signs before collapsing. That is the essence of steel reinforcement which demands professional-grade intervention to prove that the building is safe.

What's happening in this country is systemic failure, where government either don't know its responsibilities in terms of protection of lives or is too corrupt to care.

Lol. In other words, the notion that Igbos have always backed the most competent and incorruptible candidate on the ballot is hereby disproved. It has always been about tribal or party affiliation and interest, and there's nothing wrong with that. Case closed.
What do you have to say about Atiku's corruption? Best candidate to "steal for my region ba?"

Politics › Re: Atiku Is Politically Unintelligent by Igbophobia:

You only expose your hypocrisy when you go down this route. The Igbos supported Atiku in 2019. How did he suddenly become corrupt now even though he has never held any office between then and now? Perhaps, you did so because your tribesman, Obi was his Vice. Isn't it? Or did you do so because he was competent then?
Igbo this, Igbo that. What options did Igbos have in 2019 when two Fulani were the main contestants - one corrupt and the other an Igbo hater? Why won't they support the corrupt Atiku when Obi was on the ticket? Why won't they support Atiku when PDP was their preferred party and Atiku was the flag bearer, albeit a corrupt one?

We've gone back around in circles and arrived at the same cliché. "The Igbos are the only ones who know how to spot a good candidate and Obi is the best candidate among ALL aspirants". It's getting tiring and pathetic. Donald Duke is on the ballot and just like Obi, he has also been a governor for 8 years. Is Obi more competent than he is? Why are the Igbos not championing his presidency? Tinubu boldly declared that "it's my turn" and Northerners voted massively for him in 2023. What makes you think Nigerians won't vote Obi if the Southeast boldly cone out clean and declare that it's their turn? You only need to have invested first for you to be that bold.

P.S: Tinubu supported both Atiku and Ribadu for president but he didn't declare "Emi Lokan" until he supported Buhari and won. Politics is not taught in class.
Aminda, answer this question please. Why do your two regions like supporting corrupt people who don't care about the country? Why do you want people who can steal for your regions ONLY? Why do you want Igbos to also grab power to "steal for region?"
Why do you think you can gaslight Ndigbo to support someone we are CONVINCED is not competent just because we want an Igbo to be president?

Don't you people even have shame? Don't you see countries all over the world making progress while Nigeria and Africans are moving in circles because you can't get the basic things such as electing credible leaders right?

I mean this nonsense has been going on for half a century and you guys still believe that nation-building is having the "most corrupt man from my tribe steal for us"
Politics › Re: Atiku Is Politically Unintelligent by Igbophobia: 4:29pm On Jun 21
AMINDA:
Continue to sabotage your region while playing the shortsighted game. The new goal for the Southeast is ensuring that Atiku never becomes president but even Atiku can live with that. He can at least die peacefully, knowing he has been a one-time Vice president. That's not something any of you can say for an entire region. The Southeast has no pathway to the presidency that does not involve going through the V.P route. This is not a tribal or condescending statement. Politics is science, not emotions and when you play it at the national level, the stakes are higher than just one individual man's ambition.
You see, this is why Obi is different from your run-of-the-mill politician like Atiku or Tinubu who are regional and tribal politicians whose interest, like Buhari is in "stealing national wealth for my region" and not a country that works for everyone, whether from the north or south, east or west. It's really sickening that there are people like you supporting the pillaging of the country.

Perhaps you guys are doing it because you know that the wealth (oil and gas) being stolen and the opportunities being wasted doesn't come from your two region. Isn't it?

Would Tinubu and Atiku want to be president if there is no stealing to be done for REGION? Do they care about the killings going on in the country like we've seen Obi demonstrate? Something is really wrong.

You see, the problem with you guys is that you are shortsighted and yet see yourselves as long-sighted. The same tribalism you're using in destroying the country is what you want Igbos to become. Sabotage your Region politics abi? Igbos want a working country and KNOW Atiku or Tinubu doesn't represent that. You guys either fall in line or destroy the country the way you've been doing. It's just one step at a time.

Igbos don't have the sort of midset you guys have - small-minded bigotry. Your region your region, why? Just because you want a chance to steal for your region, NOT that you want the country to work at all. That's why the country is in a mess.

Should I even respond to this? What's your stake or my business in whether the partnership with Obi and Atiku works out or not? Are you going to be a member of Obi's cabinet if he wins? This is the emotions we speak about. Bottomline is that Obi got 95% of his Southeastern region, yet it wasn't enough make him president. Atiku got barely 50% of the Morthern votes but yet, he got 6.9m votes with a bulk of those numbers coming from the North. The North split its votes four ways (Atiku got 6.7m, Tinubu got 5.6m, Kwankwaso got 1.4m and Obi got 2m) and still managed to determine the winner of the election. That's real leverage and numbers don't lie. If anything, I have always held the view that for Atiku to win, Obi needs to run independently. Unlike in 2023, Obi running in 2027 will be a disadvantage to Tinubu more than it will be to Atiku. Politics is science, not emotions. Listen to Dele Momodu's analysis that he just gave today.
Atiku got that, not because he is popular but because PDP was still standing and had elected officials like governors and senators whose supporters voted along party lines. Obi had none of those and still secured more than 6 million votes. This time, Atiku won't make 4 million without active rigging.

Yet, Yar'adua became president after 8 years of Obasanjo/Atiku. This is why I keep saying that the best option for the Southeast is to support Tinubu in 2027 if the goal is to ensure that Atiku does not win. At least, this will ensure that the Southeast becomes V.P. to a Northerner in 2031. Voting Obi despite knowing his chances are slimmer than an anorexic patient will be tantamount to wasting your vote and putting Tinubu in a precarious situation. You may also end up losing the V.P position to the Southsouth. The North does not put all its political eggs in one basket and they do not play the victim card. Heads or tail, the North will not lose out in the power equation.
We don't care about your political permutation. Our interest is in a working country and we know Atiku doesn't represent that interest because he is no different than Tinubu. If Obi doesn't win, let Tinubu rig and continue dealing with you Nigerians.

Anyway, why would anyone want Atiku, a Fulani who would continue giving tacit support to the ongoing Fulani genocide in Nigeria. No one would vote Atiku because he has got nothing working for him - not competence, not the turn of the north, not potential to safeguard the country, not goodwill. If he was smart enough, Obi would have given him the latter. That he missed Obi means he's irredemably not smart. Imagine missing Obasanjo's goodwill, Goodluck's, Wike, and now Obi.
Aminda, even Atiku has given up.

Hedonisco:
"Obi got 95% of the votes from his region and that amounted to 6 million". You can imagine this kind of barefaced lie, spewed with disgust and condescension.

Peter Obi scored over 2 million votes from the north, 1.9 million votes from the South East, 1.2 million votes from the South South, and over 800, 000 votes from the South West. And these are severely suppressed votes.

Peter Obi also brutalized both Atiku and Tinubu in Abuja to the extent that neither of them could get up to 25%, in the nation's capital and seat of government.

Yet you have the audacity to claim, like your master Atiku, that the bulk of Obi's votes are from the South East. Desperately trying to reduce him to a South East local champion even with clear empirical evidence to the contrary.

Cut the grass low and the snakes will show. Thank God that the so-called partnership with Atiku did not work. I can't imagine people like you and your kind in Atiku's circle having anything to do with reasonable Nigerians behind Obi who genuinely want the country to succeed.
Words on marble.

Aminda, please do not become another soulless Reno because of Atiku. Atiku's arrogance and treachery to Obasanjo and Jonathan is why he hasn't completed his second term since after Obasanjo and Jonathan. At this twilight of his age, he seems never to have learned any lessons - that pride goeth before a fall.

Nothing can pacify a man who kept saying "I must be on the ballot" from the get-go. In hindsight, for Atiku to stand a chance, Obi needs to be on the ballot. This is because Tinubu would have gotten sympathy votes from the South, if otherwise. With Obi on the ballot, he will as usual, mop Tinubu on the floor in the South. Meanwhile, the 5.6m Northern votes that came through for Tinubu in 2023 are all but gone. Once APC realises what they are up against, Obi might just get disqualified internally by the NDC. Dickson needs to be kept an eye on. The silence of the APC since Obi decamped to the NDC is very suspect.
If Buhari couldn't win after many tries with his socalled northern votes, Atiku wouldn't either. Not without the votes of SE, SS, and MB. Garrit now? The people that had traditionally voted PDP in the SE and SS won't vote Atiku now. So no hope for him.

I love these South Africans and their bragging rights over what the Whiteman has built for them. This should be a lesson for other African countries like Nigeria moving in circles because they lack the capacity to build a nation. Give it to the whiteman. If the British, even with all their evil were still in charge of governance here, the confusion and disgrace this cowtry has become would never have happened.

Consolation is that you? Same old same old "Igbos are the only ones who know how to spot good leaders" and other clichés. Meanwhile, other regions are playing unemotional politics and acquiring 15 trillion naira loans for projects in their regions that will be repaid by your grandkids. You mean Obi won the 2023 elections without Fulani and Yoruba votes? Where then did his votes come from? You think giving a candidate 99% of your votes without an alliance with other regions can make your tribesman president? In 2027, you will repeat the same mistake and console yourself by saying Obi won the elections and that you are the only ones who know how to spot good leaders. We can see how much of an Eldorado the Southeast is, including Anambra that Obi governed for 8 years.
Yeah, that's me says consolation. You said you and they have been rigging in rubbish people in Igbo land. You think Igbo don't know? The question begging answers is why with all your rigouts, you have NOT in any way affected the lives of your masses? Why the abject poverty, banditry, and killings by the Fu? And why are you not exempting your dear darling allies the Yoruba? Let me tell you the reason, you guys are only good at one thing - RIGGING. You ain't blessed with the wisdom to lead or get things done.

The one who's username is Igbophobia proudly declares that Igbos will never vote for Fulanis. What then is Obi doing with a Fulani Kwankwaso? Why do you need Fulani votes then? Unfortunately for you, the Fulanis, including Kwankwaso himself, are smarter than Obi and the rest of you. You all can't even determine who governs you in your states and you want to determine for the rest of Nigeria? Fulanis and the Yorubas are outrigging you in your states and installing their stooges to govern you.
Good you now acknowledge that Igbo don't vote nonsense and that left for the Igbo, Nigeria won't be the cesspit you have turned it into. You think everyone doesn't know Obi won in 2023 and that as usual you guys RIGGED him out in your unholy alliance? Has rigging him out stopped the killing and kidnapping of Yoruba by una? Who is the loser? Definitely not Igbo because Igbo are survivors. Before the tribe would experience the sort of wretchedness and poverty collectively beseiging you lot, you should know how far it has affected you collectivelysmiley

Okay, is Ngige worse than Akpabio who currently occupies the seat? Kindly explain to me why the Igbos voted Orji Uzor Kalu twice, Theodore Orji twice and Okezi Ikpeazu twice and kept rejecting Alex Otti who contested in several other platforms including the APC until he happened to be in the same party with Obi and got elected via the wave. Was it really about the individual or the party and the herd mentality?
Funny you. If they told you Igbo "voted" Orji Uzo Kalu twice and you believe it, you dont really know Ndiigbo. Even in his first (s)election, he declared somewhere in Abia that they didn't vote him. You saying Igbos voted Orji Uzor twice would mean you think Igbo have your typical Nigerian mindset - no we don't. We know good products and I assure you that many so-called Nigerian elections are farcical representation of the rot in the country.

Maybe Igbo voted the current APC governor of Imo state too. No governor of Abia was truly voted by Igbo because Igbo reason alike. Even Alex Otti wouldn't have won if a true Igbo woman hadn't stood against the rot called (s)election in Nigeria.

As a side not, if Nigerians reason like Igbo, no Fulani would get near Aso Rock, at least until the ongoing Christian and native genocide stops, but it is what it is, you cannot reason as the Igbo if you're not Igbo.
