Madam obaze cannot win his local government, you better tell him to contest for lg chairman in oyigbo because him being Anambra governor is a pipe dream. Yes let obiano keep signing mou, we like it like that.. If peter obi signed mous maybe obiano will be implementing them now.. olodo everywhere. smh
Out of curiosity, I just went through your profile and looked through your discussion threads in nairaland: it's obvious that by there fruits you shall know them!

I wonder why we cannot articulate our views and be objective enough. Why has our generation lost it? Why can't we tell this people the truth? For God's sake, they are human beings like you and me, they are not infallible. They must be held accountable for their actions and inactions while superintending over us. They throw crumbs at us and we turn to fight, abuse each other on behalf of a politician that does have your interest at heart. I don't have any conflict of interest neither do I represent any camp or political group: all we crave for is good governance and accountability! Enough of propaganda.

You want me to vote for someone who hasn't done ANYTHING in a whole local government headquarters. Since he won election, Obiano has not paid any official visit to Ukpor, not to talk of commissioning any project. No motorable road, no light, no pipe borne water, no functional health facility, nothing. No any sign of government presence: for God's sake, what are we talking abouthuh?
We are here insulting ourselves on behalf of people who feed fat on our common wealth. We should be ashamed of ourselves.

I was at ukpor last 2week and what I saw is very bad. ukpor is the headquarter of Nnewi south but they lack good roads.
December 2016,one village at ukpor hosted and celebrate one man known as Chief Fabian nwaorah( egbeike) from osumenyi just because he built 5km road for them, something Ansg would have done for them.
Absolutely true!

Are you from ukpor? is this the road that connects to ebeanator town that have one mysterious river which prohibits killing of fish?
Yes sir.

Ukpor has no pipe borne water, no electricity, no roads, no functional government hospital, a whole local government headquarters and somebody is talking Obiano re-electionhuh? On what basis is he seeking re-election?

propaganda bridge? Who says you will not insult his road too if he constructs it like you are doing the bridge? Anyway vote him to do the roads then
And why will I vote him when he did not fulfill his promise? During campaign for his election, he vowed to complete this road if voted into power! Unfortunately, he did not fulfill his promise and you want me to vote him again based on propaganda and false promiseshuh

Am ashamed of our generation, we must learn to tell this people the truth. We should not sell our birthright for a pot of porridge my brother! We should not be parochial and sentimental in our views, let's be objective! Call a spade a spade. Obiano hasn't impressed me at all. With all his pedigree, he seem to have ended up like one of this thug politicians who have nothing to offer.

We must learn to demand for accountability from our leaders, this money belongs to all Anambrarians. Ukpor does not have a functional government hospital, no road, no electricity, no water and you are defendving the government. It's a pity, and that's why we are been taken for granted by our leaders. What has Obiano done for Ukpor that he deserves a second term? Nothing. Awka the state capital has no master plan and during rainy season, major roads are flooded and impassable. Apart from the propaganda bridge, please tell me Obiano major achievementhuh??

Obiano should present his scorecard and stop all this media completed projects and MOUs. Aside from his home town, where in Anambra is his government been felt. Truth be told, there is nothing on ground after almost 3years. We wish him the best but he should stop deceiving Anambrarians.

I must commend the Executive Governor of Anambra state, His Excellency, Chief Willy Obiano for this laudable project. Having said that, I wish to draw his attention to the deplorable state of roads in Ukpor, Nnewi south LGA of Anambra state. I still cannot understand what crime the good people of Ukpor committed to deserve such treatment. No single road project since the inception of this administration, no light in some parts of Ukpor, no functioning government hospital. Your Excellency, a good turn deserves another: do something about the plight of your people.
AgricultureRe: Obiano Commissions Largest Poultry In The South East (photos) by ignatiusez: 2:53pm On Feb 11, 2017
owobokiri:
99% of projects being commissioned by this "militant" are private projects attracted to the state by the ebullient Peter Obi. Obiano gets away with a whole lot of propaganda and i am starting to think that most of these uncouth characters that saddle every related thread here with curses and invectives are paid agents of the empty one at Awka. . I am not belittling him. I am telling the facts as they are. Hate them or like them, Ngige and Obi are in a class of their own when juxtaposed to a bemused Obiano. almost all the noise about developments in Anambra that are being made by Obiano can be attributed to the projects started by Obi and Ngige...

While Ngige revolutionized road construction in Anambra state, Obi being business savvy, made sure that he provided industrialists with what they needed in order to feel comfortable around Onitsha and Nnewi. The result is what you are seeing now. When has Obiano settled down to work? He is always going for holidays in America. Obiano always dressing like a p-i-m-p holds no candle to this two that he likes fighting tooth and nail. . The good thing is that elections are around the corner and irrespective of those late noise about '1000000 million roads' being constructed to sway naive voters, Obiano will be rightly shoved aside. Anambra deserves better than a clown that closes work at mid day to go soak himself in endless bottles of HERO.
I completely agree with you.

The only anambra people that hate obiano are peter obi and his worshippers who are jealous obiano has outperformed peter obis mediocre govt in 2 years.
I beg to disagree with you sir! We are not talking about politics but democracy dividends. I hope his aides are on this forum to challenge my assertion that this government has not done any tangible project in Ukpor, the headquarters of Nnewi south LGA since inception. How could a government who came to office with the people's mandate and by popular vote abandon certain towns? I expect that if at all there are plans for new projects, there should be equity and justice. How can you explain the fact that Ukpor which is one of the largest towns in the whole of Anambra by size and population has been neglected? In this era, no light and water? During the raining season, the roads are completely not motorable, yet the only road that was started by Peter Obi (Ihiala by Saint Peter's junction through Mputu- Umunuko- Umuohama) been abandoned by the present government. The only bridge that links Ihiala to Ukpor has collapsed and yet the government does not care? Anambra with one of the smallest workforce and with one of the highest IGR does not have any excuse not to perform. I learnt that revenue officers travel all the way from Awka the capital to Ukpor to collect taxes, building approval, etc? The government should publish the list of completed/commissioned projects and not posting digitally edited images of uncompleted roads ehen election campaign is drawing near, which might be abandoned after elections.
PoliticsRe: Pictures Of some of the 111 Roads Being Worked Upon By Obiano by ignatiusez: 4:36am On Feb 09, 2017
I don't understand how the government came up with this bogus figures that they give on number of roads. On what basis were these roads selected for construction? I visit Anambra frequently, unfortunately, you hardly see any evidence of ongoing work. Majority of the good roads were those built by Ngige and Peter Obi. Am afraid to say it: this present government in Anambra state seem to thrive more on propaganda. Take for example, Ukpor town which is the local government headquarters of Nnewi south LGA has no single project been constructed! Most of the roads in Ukpor are impassable, especially during the rainy season. Ukpor has no light, no water, no functional genera hospital yet it's a local government headquarters! These government is in its 4th year and yet nothing much to show. Go to the villages and listen to an average Anambrarian: what you hear is a far cry from the propaganda been peddled in the media. How can a governor neglect a whole local government headquarters, even abandoned the township road started by his predecessor? People are simply disappointed with this current government in Anambra state, forget about this internet projects.
