I lived under Buhari, IBB, Abacha and Abdulsalam...and I will not wish military rule on anyone. This comments against government you make on nairaland will land you in jail....nobody will look for you....your own people will deny you for fear of being imprisoned themselves....if you wan protest you have to leave the country....don't ask for what will dehumanise you

That is why in a military regime there is usually no dissension...artificial peace exist because nobody is allowed to freely voice their opinion....and any military officer caught planning a coup is killed sometimes publicly to send signals to another person considering that option. So, June 12 was an annulment of election by IBB abi na Abacha.

March 18, was an annulment of democracy in Rivers State.

Both actors are DESPOTS that MUST be removed for Nigeria to thrive.

You don't know the law or what you're saying

Annulment means there was no election

Suspension means not allowed to carryout normal functions for a period of time

Removal means removal of constitutional authority permanently

In Nigeria if the president supports the impeachment of a governor...that governor is gone....It may still be the best outcome for Fubara

Declaring state of emergency is legal. The constitution allows it.

There is precedence in more than 5 states in the past.

Implementing state of emergency is up to the national assembly. If the national assembly rejects it and the president goes on to implement it...then it becomes an illegal move for which the president himself can be impeached

Fubara is not yet gone. The National Assembly will need to ratify the declaration.

If they fail I think the Rivers State House of Assembly will impeach Fubara and his Deputy within 14 days and Wike's men will be in power.
