Since the beginning of humankind,in every society,the most genetically and socially superior/gifted males have always had access to multiple/many women while the less gifted men did not.The elders/leaders in those societies you stated, then created the monogamy tenet so that the less gifted males could have access to atleast one woman because they weren't good enough to attract any.

My view is,superior men should not be punished for the inadequacies of inferior men when it comes to access to women.
If an incel cannot attract one woman and I can attract seven and impregnate five and cater for them,why then should society punish me and reward the incel?!
