This morning's assault on Kyiv saw one person killed, three hospitalised and nine treated at the scene after a strike narrowly avoided a pedestrian when it struck an apartment block.
Another missile was intercepted above Kyiv but debris fell on the city, destroying a bus and killing one person in more scenes of utter destruction.

Vladimir Putin is suffering from a brain disorder caused by dementia, Parkinson’s disease or ‘roid rage’ resulting from steroid treatment for cancer, intelligence sources have claimed.
Citing sources close to the Kremlin, senior figures in the Five Eyes intelligence alliance – comprising Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States – believe there is a physiological explanation for the Russian president’s globally reviled decision to invade Ukraine.
The intelligence community is sharing a growing number of reports about 69-year-old Putin’s ‘increasingly erratic behaviour’, combined with a bloated appearance in recent footage – and the absurd distance he insists on keeping from visitors to the Kremlin.
A security source said: ‘It is only human sources that can offer you the sort of rich picture that we have of Putin’s psyche.
‘There has been an identifiable change in his decision-making over the past five years or so. Those around him see a marked change in the cogency and clarity of what he says and how he perceives the world around him.’
The source said this failure to think clearly was being compounded by the lack of a ‘negative feedback loop’, with the Russian leader ‘simply not being briefed’ on elements of failures with the invasion.
It has been reported that Putin had placed Sergey Beseda, the head of the FSB’s foreign service, and his deputy, Anatoly Bolyukh, under house arrest after blaming them for intelligence failings that saw his army handed a series of defeats in Ukraine.
The intelligence, which is understood to have been passed to senior British political figures, suggests that Putin has suffered a psychological deterioration caused by physiological factors.
They advance theories that Putin is either suffering from a brain condition, such as Parkinson’s disease or a more generic form of dementia, or that he has cancer and the medical treatment he is receiving has altered the balance of his mind.
The last theory, which is considered credible by British intelligence, is that the mental deterioration is the consequence of so-called ‘roid rage’, caused by the prolonged use of steroids.
Sources cite Putin’s decision to physically isolate himself from guests as a sign of a fear of ‘co-morbidities’ – other serious medical conditions that could increase the risk of death – or the use of drugs which suppress the immune system, leaving him open to infections.

It comes as Western officials fear Moscow could deploy chemical weapons in Ukraine.
Nato could be forced to intervene in the Russia-Ukraine war if Vladimir Putin decides to use chemical weapons, a minister has warned.
Armed Forces Minister James Heappey said Russia should think twice about taking such an approach as it could trigger “an international response”.
Western officials are concerned Moscow could turn to chemical and biological warfare in a bid to speed up the conflict.
Asked if the use of such weapons would change the West’s decision not to get involved militarily, Mr Heappey told BBC Radio 4’s Today programme: “President Putin needs to be clear that the use of chemical weapons is just the most despicable thing that anyone can imagine.
“As horrid as the pictures we are seeing on our TV screens today of an artillery strike against a hospital (are), they are but nothing by comparison to the suffering and devastation that chemical weapons cause.”
Pressed on if it would be a ‘red line’, he added: “I don’t think it’s helpful to get into any firm commitment right now about where that red line sits. But I think President Putin needs to be very clear about when other countries have used chemical weapons, it has caused an international response.
“And I think that the US are right to declassify the intelligence so that Putin knows that we know that he’s got this under consideration.
“And I think he should reflect very urgently on what has happened to other countries where they have used this.”
Chemical weapons were used by the Assad regime, backed by Russia, during the Syrian civil war and officials fear Moscow could repeat the tactic in Ukraine.
Last night White House press secretary Jen Psaki said the world should be “on the lookout” for the Russian use of chemical and biological weaponry.
She said “Russia’s false claims” about alleged US biological weapons labs and chemical weapons development in Ukraine could be an “an obvious ploy” by the Kremlin to try to “justify its further premeditated, unprovoked, and unjustified attack on Ukraine”.
Ms Psaki added: “Now that Russia has made these false claims, and China has seemingly endorsed this propaganda, we should all be on the lookout for Russia to possibly use chemical or biological weapons in Ukraine, or to create a false flag operation using them.”
Western allies have previously warned that Russia could be prepared to use thermobaric weapons, known as vacuum bombs, in the Ukraine conflict, while it has already been criticised for dropping cluster bombs on civilian areas.
Yesterday, Russia was accused of shelling a maternity hospital in the Ukrainian city of Mariupol.
Mr Heappey said the attack on the maternity hospital was a “war crime”.
City officials said an initial assessment found 17 casualties, including a six-year-old child.
The Russian army knew that they were bombing a maternity hospital in Mariupol, the deputy mayor of the city has claimed.
Sergei Orlov told BBC Radio 4’s Today programme: “I am absolutely sure that they know about this facility.
“This is the third hospital that they have destroyed in the city. The previous day they destroyed hospital number nine by artillery shelling. This was a Covid hospital with 300 beds.
“They have also attacked and destroyed a blood collection station in Mariupol. So, it is the third hospital, I’m absolutely sure they know what are their targets.”

Vladimir Putin has sacked his top generals and is 'raging' at the FSB after failed intelligence and poor strategy saw his troops handed a series of embarrassing defeats in the opening days of the war in Ukraine.
Oleksiy Danilov, head of Ukraine's security council, said 'around eight' Russian commanders have been fired since the start of the conflict as Moscow scrambles to change strategy after its attempted 'shock and awe' blitz fell flat.
Putin is also said to be infuriated with commanders of the FSB security service - which he used to run - for handing him intelligence suggesting that Ukraine was weak, riddled with neo-Nazi groups, and would give up easily if attacked.
Philip Ingram, a security expert and former senior British intelligence officer, told The Times that Putin is obviously 'very angry' and is blaming his intelligence agencies.
'He blames them for seeding him the advice that led to the poor decision-making in Ukraine,' he said.
That poor decision making has led to Russia suffering much higher casualties than it expected in its attack, which has now been going on for two weeks.
It seems Moscow had anticipated little resistance when it sent in light forces backed by airstrikes to seize key targets during the opening days, but was met with punishing counter-attacks.
