Wow. I also need answers for this question, it has not been answered.
I planted in February just to teach some kids the virtue in farming. This is September, there are leaves everywhere but no pods or beans.

A great miracle.
The driver was carrying egg crates and when his car fell into a pothole, he came out through the passengers side to check his tire and also the crates behind and next thing he heard was the loud bang from the container falling on his car.

My staff bus was trapped at the opposite lane, for a while when he was sharing his testimony, he couldn't even speak, he was short of words.

It's terribly sad that road leads to
- Ph refinery
- indorama petrochemical
- oil and gas free zone
- onne port

Companies worth billions of dollars, and it's the major road to get to Akwaibom, cross river states from rivers state. This morning another truck killed someone there. All the people are concerned about is PDP Vs ABC, Wike vs Amaechi.

God will help us.

Visit Indorama website : it's boldly written that the company pays 6bn annually to eleme community for projects.
Business To BusinessRe: N50,000 Capital Available by IhAvEaJoB01(op): 7:23am On May 21, 2017
i wish this could get to FP or if anyone knows someone who is motivated to make some income instead of complaining about "no job" and who has a good idea, you can just send the person the link...

while looking for a job last year, i knew there was absolutely no dignity in begging for change to cook, i looked for any kind of income, even went to a brothel to work as a waiter (i am a petroleum engineer)....fortunately i didnt get that job...but eventually i got a job and ive lived on less than 30% of my salary since then and saved the rest in my office cooperative because i know my goal isnt "a job" but to generate "multiple streams of passive income"...

in response to the benevolence of my chairman who employed me without actually knowing me, i am not connected to him in anyway,...the thought has been on my mind for months to empower someone else. nothing big, just enough to keep body and soul together until u get your "big job".

So ill be providing N50,000 every month for a new idea, thereby making passive income for myself and also for the person involved.

Holla at me...

have any business idea that will generate atleast N2,000 profit on a daily basis? and we split profit equally,...
N50,000 is available

this is just to get you going until you find your feet/"get a job"

I'll do this every month.

Genuine business ideas only... [s]NO currency trading/sport betting like ideas[/s],....i would prefer basic "buying and selling"....even if its to sell fries (yam, potato, fish etc) .....(i thought of this while job hunting back then unfortunately had no capital)

email me..
mods pls front page, lets empower someone

You see

Look for a service or goods that you can offer to 10 people and collect 5k in return.

Quote me with the idea too. I need money sef grin
No p bro, I'll definitely quote you. I think it'll be a service eventually cos if it's goods/product, it means the 5k will be profit made, that means the good itself will be expensive. I don't know...lemme think

Look for 100 people to give you #500

So simple

Divide 100 by 7 days. That's approximately 14 people each day

Beg 14 people everyday for #500 and viola, you have #50000.

Just thank me later. grin
Hahaha awesome. I did the first calculation immediately after posting but I did:

I need N5000 x 10 people. So I've been cracking my brain what value to offer 10 people that they'd gladly pay 5k.

But I love your 100/7 angle too. Back to thinking and googling

But I don't want to beg mbok. I want to offer value.... grin
BusinessWhat Would You Do??? by IhAvEaJoB01(op): 7:27pm On Mar 26, 2017
I am in urgent need of N50,000 to attend to a family emergency by 1st April (Saturday). All my savings (60% of my monthly salary - which isnt much anyway) is tied up in my company's cooperative/thrift society and i can only access it in May.

Project: If you were to make N50,000 legitimately in one week, what would you do? i need ideas please (excluding ponzi/pyramid schemes, sports betting etc)

No matter how silly u may think it sounds, please share.....also i think its a good brain stimulator, you can also try it yourself. So many people have great ideas, skills and talents, but haven't achieved anything worthwhile or done anything with their ideas. Ive always known theres a big difference between potential and achievement. Between what you can do and what you have done. So you can do this yourself....

Eg: If you had a gun to your head to come up with a "50k in one week" idea, what would you do or come up with...

N/B: 6am to 6pm is for my employer... cry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry

if your idea is too precious to you to put up, you can pm me or call 080 three 2749626. Im actually in a tight corner and its a real emergency.

Thanks a lot....

am so happy for u ma brother and I key into ur testimony. Thanks for sharing,at least dis will give us hope for better days to come
Thank you so much.

That's why I shared it. There's so much negativity and hopelessness in the news. Companies sacking or reducing salaries, or shutting down completely. Its necessary to let people know that there's still hope. The company that employed me didn't advertise for employment, but there was a vacant position for months (the last person left in June).

Kai brother, I don't even want to remember that experience.

Thank you PoisonedOne, Gbade and Intelligentdude for reaching out when i put up this post (cant believe i went to look for a job in a brothel - what hunger can do) https://www.nairaland.com/3146660/lowest-point-life-2016

i am too grateful for lifes experiences, i lost all the people i thought were my friends, including a four year relationship.

i almost lost hope!

despite the recession, I NOW HAVE A JOB!!! A complete miracle!!! i didn't apply, but the Chairman of the company (one of Nigeria's richest men - someone you won't normally see) instructed that i be employed. An absolute miracle! In a field i didn't study. God is too good!

I learnt some lessons,
No matter how bad your situation is, As long as you live - NEVER LOSE HOPE, always be grateful, and DO SOMETHING, ANYTHING, no matter how stupid it may be, do something, keep moving, keep pushing....also.......PRIDE destroys

keep your head up!!!

ProgrammingLearn Programming Or Pay A Programmer by IhAvEaJoB01(op): 4:05am On Aug 19, 2016
If you have a couple of ideas for apps, which is advisable?

1) learn programming with it's rigours, steep learning curve etc

2) pay a programmer (assuming you have the funds)

(From past experience in music business, I've seen countless "musicians" pay music producers for their songs and they don't get what they want, in frustration they decide to learn music production. Years later, they realise they are toiling and hustling as a music producer. Neither the original music dream or the current music producer career is successful or fulfilling).

I've met different programmers and it seems both world's are similar. Most programmers I know make lots of excuses, don't keep to deadlines, don't satisfy customers etc just like most music producers.

Suggestions please.

I understand how you feel abt this but just keep holding up and continue to trust God. I also lost my job in jan due to some coy restructuring... but i'm stil trusting God sha. I can only advice you go to Tusen Consulting in Victoria Island, they recruit majorly for oil and gas. Just go there in person, you will be given a form to fill.Anything positive could surface. #Godisincharge.
Sorry about your job loss.

I'll be at Tusen first thing tomorrow. Where exactly in VI?? I'll also check it out online now.

Thanks so much for your input.

OP you seriously want to consider this as you said you have lots of skill.

I started this fiverr stuff few months back as a web dev and although there are days you work like horse at least you are not under anybody.

It is just that Nigeria PHCN/NEPA are not helping matters and fuel price no even make me think of buying generator.
If you have some of the requirements, it is worth a shot.
Thanks a lot.

Bro life ain't easy and if you are lucky to be in Nigeria, you have to struggle 10 times as hard. Dropped my NYSC garb almost a year ago and began the job hunt. Got frustrated most times and scammed many more times. But I didn't give up and till today, while I wait for the big break, I am still surviving. I pay my own rent and other expenses and save a little for the future.

Don't think all this was possible because of one office job o. No no. I work under the sun and even in the rain (remember that line in NYSC anthem) but majority of income comes from FREELANCING.

Since you have lot's of skills then maybe you should consider selling them as services on platforms like Fiverr, Upwork and Freelancer. I use one of the three above and I didn't regret my decision. You too can make it through FREELANCING.

I don't advice you to take up any job that will make you work from 7am till 7pm. You will only end up enslaving yourself, especially if the pay can't cover your basic expenses in a month. If you can teach then good. Get a teaching job and combine it with freelancing and you will smile again.

Sorry if my epistle is too long. Just wanted to share my experience with you so you can learn one or two things.

P.S
You need a laptop, an android phone, access to internet and electricity for at least 8-12 hours in a day to start your freelance journey. If you are smart, you can make do without the laptop for the maintine and use just your android (5 inch screen preferably).
Thank you thank you thank abundantly.
Yes I know about fiverr and upwork. I have even already registered on upwork. I just have a techno 4inch phone, 2 shirts, 1 trouser. 6 white inner shirts (relics from of nysc....lol).
After careful analysis of my situation, I concluded that my most urgent need is "to eat". Once I can sort that out, laptop/steay internet/better phone will be hustled out. I paid my way through school midway through school so I know what I can do with Gods grace.

Brother, your epistle wasn't too long. It was awesome.
Thank you so much.
It's a new day, and I'm fired up already. Thanks so much.

But reading the OP's post, I must say I know what it feels.

I may not have been to my "lowest" point, I just must sure concur I've been this close. It is not easy.

Everything just seems so hard!

I wish I had a job for you bro. I wish I had a job for thousands of jobless youths with valid claims. I just don't. As at now I can barely help myself.

I hope we all one day get to that top that look so high and untouchable.

Winners they say never quit. You can't quit, not now. Just keep doing the good things you do. And surely you'll come back and say it was a "crazy" journey. A journey only the brave survives.
Thank you abundantly, its a new day.I feel a lot relieved and motivated to keep pushing.
