Ok this is how i see it, most people dont get it but anyhow, you said many dont have a clear orientation and thus can easily be led astray. What led one to that belief? Even if you dont have a clear orientation, the reason one believes is because of faith - which by my understanding is believing even without seeing. You see i cannot understand why one would blindly follow something without having some sort of faith in it. You have faith enuf to believe in wonders yet you can easily be swayed? Then no no, you cannot call yourself a true follower if you can easily be diswayed. If one cannot bypass the whole religion thing in the book, then don't read it, but trust that some of us are above manipulations, insinuations and fabrications. My 2 cents, it may not be agreeable to most but heck i always say to each his own.

Because controversy is stimulating and fun, without it most people would be bored.  Sorry to cut in guys but mennnnnn its not crap, besides Dan Brown did put at the introductory page that it was fiction.  For those not secure in their beliefs, that's where they start having problem.  Its entertainment, sure it deals alot with religion, but if you have faith you can bypass all that and simply enjoy the book as a thrilling suspense novel.
Career › Re: Working As A Personal Assistant by iice(f): 3:50pm On Aug 23, 2006
Well i dont really see much wrong in it so long as you have tons of patience, be of mellow disposition and very flexible coz most people with PA's cant function properly without their PA, so one is always on call to do things for them

But i'd rather just blend with the crowd so that one wouldnt notice when am not longer there tongue grin

Romance › Re: Did I Say Any Thing Bad? by iice(f): 1:17pm On Aug 23, 2006
Dude, i think you handled it very well, never mind that you had suspicions but even though the thought of her with someone else was chooking(sp) you, you still told her that she shud just be safe. You ddnt imply that you guys should break up because even thou you had your suspicions, you tried to give her space to do her thing, hoping that she will realize that you were a good thing for her. The prior weeks to the break up where she gave you hell was a inclination/hint that something was gonna go awry in the relationship. I guess you dont have enuff experience in that situation for you to suspect that things would come to a stand still. I think she met someone else who perked her interest for her to have moved smoothly into another relationship. Or she fell out of love with ya. Don't blame yourself man, relationships are hard, most people have to go through so many shitty relationships to finally be awarded the one that is meant for them. It's gonna be hard trusting but time they say heals all (scars go still dey sha). Just take it one day at a time and eventually it will fade into memories.

My friend went home last year, he was mennnnnn cinema too expensive, he had a date and he blasted like 10k that night, hin vex eh i laff tire for am. Love cinemas, but am happy naija's improving on that level, when they get enuf branches, prices will go down, plus one gas take the economic situation into consideration. Atleast there is students discount which is an incentive grin Even though cinemas are relatively cheap where i am, i usually just go them to watch a movie i feel is worth watching on the big screen so i kindda have a large collection of dvds grin
