It props up very very high and crashes...Quite a thing to witness...And trade.[/color]

3 days is too small. I hold ranging trades for a week plus. Ordinary 2 days, you don dey Halla.. Oga calm down na. Check the Audcad I shared here, I was holding for almost a week, now the thing just started moving, and I am 100pips in profit. Swing trading is calmness and peace of mind.

[color=#1986BC] False breakouts are f**king sh**ts...I hate them and devote time tracking their movts and activities, hell, sometimes I purposely trade the fake outs and wait before running out then trade it's retracements which actually are the original moves the price was supposed to take in the first place, just like what happened this morning. There are many factors that can catalyse them, so the timing is quite irrelevant because it can happen the least when expected..The one I called in the morning was simply gut instinct coupled with experience..[/color]

Sorry about that, in cross pairs, the majors are at war with themselves and that keeps you in the clear if your strategy has a very good edge plus timing and your stop loss will hardly be hit if you place it at a safe range. The only thing you might suffer is ranging and it's just for a while.

If you have a strategy that has an edge in the market, I strongly recommend to use it on cross pairs like gbpjpy that can be volatile and churn out pips like gold. Why a cross pair, because majors are at crossroads here, so your edge stands a better chance of winning and your odds will greatly favour you.
