It depends on if you still love your ex. You hurt her and that is the reason the relationship failed, if you still want her then meet her (in a not so cosy environment cos we know how it will end)have a real conversation with her before going back into the relationship if you want to. I don't know what promises you have made to the new girl but if you haven't there is nothing holding you back for your true love. But be honest with ur ex about the situation with the new girl so that ur ex makes up her mind and doesn't string you along.

Why can't your friend talk to her directly so that they can come up with a plan of action together?? Why is he being distracted? Doesn't he want to marry her again? In my opinion I think the man should marry the woman and save the land for later because he has been working for years saving up for the wedding and now that he has the money he should marry her. 5 years is a long time to wait especially now that she may be pregnant. He can work towards buying the land after their wedding or if he's that desperate for the land (maybe he found gold there )pay a deposit now and complete the payment afterwards. But I still feel he should marry the girl before she starts to show! He should also wait to do a test and make sure she's pregnant before bringing this up with her.

When you have a crush you tend to romanticize and build fantasies around the person, its only after talking and getting to know the person that you start to question why you liked him in the first place. That is normal and nothing wrong with that. You haven't found the right guy yet so just chill.
