CrimeRe: Can a Woman Rape a Man? by ijebu(m): 2:10pm On Jan 17, 2006
Rape is Unlawfully canal knowledge of a woman and there must be pentration. To proof a case of rape there must be penetration of the labia majoria of the victim.
From this definition, you will see that a woman cannot rape a man, because there is no way a woman can have canal knowledge of a man and have penetration of the labia majoria (outer layer) since men don't have this organ that are exclusive female organ.
What we can have instead is sexual harassment not rape. Unless our criminal/penal code is review cool
BusinessRe: Introducing NairaEx by ijebu(m): 8:05pm On Jan 16, 2006
I have not use NairaEX before, but I have been using similar cards which I get directly myself for quite sometime. They are gift cards which are a prepaid card. Check visa.com and www.bankofamerica.com/giftcard.

CrimeRe: Harassed By Nigerian Policemen by ijebu(m): 7:42pm On Jan 16, 2006
"There is no place they don't gather chickens at dawn". I have witnessed police brutality in London and Texas. So Everybody knows that out of every twelve there must be a Judas. I am not a Solicitor for the men in Black (even imagine you gave them black uniform and you don't expect some of them to behave like "black nija"wink.
Victims of Police brutality should report to the nearest Police Public Relations officer, can send a mail to the Force Public Relations office, or even submit some to their forum, www.nigeriapolice.org/forum cool. I have tried it and it worked.
Nairaland GeneralRe: PHCN/NEPA Electricity Supply: Any Difference? by ijebu(m): 7:14pm On Jan 16, 2006
The problem with NEPA or PHCN is a reflection of the problem of the entity call Nigeria. The change of name only make some guys to have a good avenue to enrich themselves, change of logo, stationeries, etc. Nigeria needs a structural change, until then don't expect any changes from NEPA, Police, etc. Nigeria is the only federation with central Police, NEPA structure.
Ghana now for over two years have been enjoying uninterrupted power supply, and before the electricity company will take off the light, they inform members of the public. cool
Nairaland GeneralRe: The Nigeria Police by ijebu(m): 6:56pm On Jan 16, 2006
Officers and men in the Nigeria Police are not from another planet. You should all expect them to be affected by the Nigerian factor. Tell me one area of national life that is doing as well as the Nigeria Police. Despite the Billoins of naira sank into NEPA, I wonder how many of you can boast of 6hrs  of electricity a day, the roads are dead trap despite billions of naira, Immigration, customs, banks, NNPC. mention.
The performance of our police men in United nations peacekeeping operations since 1960 confirm that if an average police man is given a good opportunity and encouragement he can perform well. An constable earns N7,000, a Superintendent takes home less than n40,000.
I can confirm that Nigeria police has brilliant officers. See their website designed by policemen www.nigeriapolice.org. I have met the webmaster who is a policeman, who each time we meet complain about not having the necessary materials to work with. The Nigeria Police is the only organization in Nigeria having a web design team, other contracted their websites to contractors.
For over two years the Police Trust Fund bill has been in the national assembly, as long as the government don't take the issue of the Nigeria Police serious don't expect them to perform magic.
You can even contribute to their forum on www.nigeriapolice.org/forum cool

bolaoni:
The best way to start is as a reseller. Search on Google for "Reseller Hosting" and see several options come up.

Bola
I totally support Bola that the best way to start as a reseller in Nigeria is to search top saerch engines like google, yahoo, msn for " Reseller host Nigeria" or " Reseller Host in Nigeria" or " Web Host in Nigeria" and pick top ranked providers from the search engines results compare their ratings on each of the search engines and their packages.

WebmastersRe: How To Start A Web Hosting/Development Company by ijebu(m): 12:39pm On Jan 13, 2006
I will agree that all you need to start a web hosting business in Nigeria is to either start as an affiliate to leading hosting provider in Nigeria or as a reseller. You only need N19,800 to start a full private label web hosting business, where you will be able to design different web packages for your clients and determine your own price. The reseller hosting package you go for should have both Web Host manager and cpanel for each of your client.
If you are upcoming web designer you will need a package that has online web builder and templates and auto script installer .
Then you also need to register the domains of your clients and this you can do with only N1,400 for each domain. You can see the pacakges offer by either www.abimco.com or www.nairahost.com. These are about the best Web Host Resellers in Nigeria now.
I wish you the best of luck

If the uptime of your host is 99% them you have a Abimco is better than your host, her uptime is 100% see this independent monitor: http://www.webhostingstuff.com/uptime/AbimcoWebHost.html
WebmastersRe: Cost of Designing & Hosting a Web Portal by ijebu(m): 1:36pm On Nov 12, 2005
One mans food is another mans poision, wordpress is not regarded by experts as one of the best open source CMS, It depends on what you like, Mambo/Joomla, Zope, Typo3 are even better rated than Wordpress.

To me Nairahost program is just an affilaite program not a reseller program. The N9,000 paid look like a setup fee. ABIMCO offer similar programm Free of Charge to Youth Corpers and students who want to start, but has no fund to pay for a complete reseller package, this was one of the options I was given. And Abimco offers domain registration for as low as N1,000 for her Platinum Resellers.
Web MarketRe: Web Hosting Companies in Nigeria by ijebu(m): 2:41pm On Nov 07, 2005
Nairahost gives you only 30mb disk space for your own site for N9000 and you still continue to pay Nairahost for the the site of your clients, though at reduced price. But at ABIMCO you pay N19,800 for 2000MB and you can host 50 sites, you determine your price, and you also can brand your packages yourself. Though Nairahost beat ABIMCO to Domain reseller cos they offer for N1,400
WebmastersRe: How To Get a .NG Domain Name? by ijebu(m): 2:25pm On Nov 07, 2005
I wonder for Naija, if smaller African countries can get their ccTLD working fine it is a shame that Naija can not get .ng to to be avialbale without unnecessary problem.
Web MarketRe: Web Hosting Companies in Nigeria by ijebu(m): 1:24pm On Nov 07, 2005
I think the cheapest web host in Nigeria is ABIMCO Web Host; www.abimco.com. I am one of their resellers, although the basic plan of both ABIMCO and Nairahost is N3,500 with Free Domain, ABIMCO's offer is more robust and have a cheaper and better reseller plan.
WebmastersRe: Comment on this site i made-thanks by ijebu(m): 10:18pm On Nov 06, 2005
I dont think there is any competition in the two site
