Thank you for shedding further light on your story. What city is your school? someone could have an assistance to render. Gerald45411: Guys good morning ....just still part of my testimony about my visa journey. After submitting my passport and insurance certificate to the visa consulate office in UAE on 20th of August, I waited for 4-5 days before going for the visa passport collection according to their instructions in the approval email. I was surprised seeing that the visa was stamped on 21th of same August and I was waiting for 5 working days. After the collection, I immediately booked my ticket to Nigeria to spend a month with my family. Currently, I am in Delta state relaxing and planning for germany. My personal observations during my interview or during application is that one should be able to write his SOP so you can defend it when additional interview becomes necessary like my own case. My SOP was 5 pages. I told them everything about me and some circumstances I have seen in life. It interested them to read everything and questions was asked on almost every paragraph. I never allowed them to point out those reasons that will enable them deny the visa, I brought those reasons out in my SOP and addressed them. In all, just be truthful with your application.
Please our brothers and sisters in Germany can you help with more information on student accommodation. Some guy said they got to germany before renting, please how will one do that. ** Do you stay at the hotel **Like how much ** Is it faster when you are on ground. **My budget is 400 euro ( what can that get for me) Thanks to you guys. |

For fintiba, It is not thesame operations at it used to be times back. You are only allowed to deposit the total blocking amount once. And you need to show proofs of the source of fund before they allow you get your funds back. It would be good you ask recent persons that used them for blocking what they went through with their new processes. I know funding from Nigeria account to fintiba wont be possible because of the 10k usd CBN rule. This alone wont make Nigerians abke to use fintiba except the funds are in other countries without maximum limit on forex Odingo1: It appears correct and real, that is Fintiba. How can you confirm again. They have one website and is not possible for a scammer to own their website. www.fintiba.com |

Congrats. 1stly you can notarize your document at the German embassy or registered notary (any federal high court will do that). The notarized copy is equivalent to original needed by LMU. As far as I know, the embassy doesn’t require your means of accommodation for visa. I also live in Munich and I would advise you to check or register in the student WG. Munich is expensive and I have been searching for another Accomodation for more than 1 yr now without +ve outcome. Try the student WG. I wish you all the best LANREORIOWO: Hi, I got admitted into LMU Munich for my Master's and I applied for Visa CAT A, I got my Appointment shcheduled for September 11 and I understand that I will need to submit my original certificates.
The LMU International office request that I send notarised copy of my certificates, please where and how can I get it done. I need directions on this please.
Also, I am yet to get accommodation in Munich, is it a must that I go for my interview with a proof of accommodation? |

You can upload without notarization. However, you must send notarized ones to uniassit with post suxex4ever: I want to upload my documents to Uni-Assist. Can I upload the scanned copies of the original certificates like degree certificates, transcripts, CV etc or I must certify them at the court before uploading to Uni-Assist? |

Yes. Infact you can secure another admission as backup immediately you are in your final semester or while writing your thesis. So many options are available. The first hurdle is getting your feet inside Germany legally and all other is easy Harbey92: please if i may ask you mean someone could opt for another degree before the expiration of the 18month post study visa |

Thanks @Gerald45411. This keeps hope alive Gerald45411: Most of us have shared our experience at the embassy or the consulate office. Personally, I have shared my experience on this platform three good times. One when I went for the interview 6th August 2024 , secondly when I received phone interview from the consulate office and the third when my visa was approved. Maybe you are not up to date on the happening on the forum.... |

After completion of studies, you are given 18months post study visa to get a full time job offer. If you are in any of the STEM, you could have got an internship or work student which eventually turns you to full time as soon as you complete your studies. However, if one is not lucky enough to get internship before graduation, you have to hunt for jobs that will give you full employment. It should not be difficult as it may be. But one needs to connect with his people and colleagues in the system to get job either referal or any otheer means before the 18months expires. However, there are lots of doors you can pursue as we all know that most people dont want to return back home until you have made it. You could opt for new degree or further whatever studies (tuition is free so make the best of it). profsomebody: Please, how easy is it to stay back in Germany after studies? |

We are only seeing requests of accommodation around Germany. If its what i am thinking, lots of people here are getting visa without sharing. Please let us endeavor to share good news to encourage people and they can still keep hope alive.
I am here to give back to all i have benefitted on this platform. I cant imagine how much I would have paid travel agents to get to Germany.
Please all, feel to ask any questions. I will answer all I can as much as I know.
