What about when you dont have any one in Germany?

Well. It’s just an advise to get a refund in euro should incase the visa is not granted or the applicant is no longer interested in German studies.

If money is coming into Nigeria from fintiba it will go to central bank direct before your bank will come and get it from them and credit you in naira with official rate. In 2021 when I applied for a refund of my tuition fees from Poland, the money went to central bank and from central bank my bank pick it up from there. But try to see if you will be lucky.. use dom account

I always advise people about to fund their block account to use known and traceable or relatives in Germany to fund for them. It’s easier than finding from Nigeria

A friend of mine is asking how best to get her money from FINTIBA, in such a way it can enter an account in Germany. She doesn't want the money to have less value if it enters NIGERIA.

Kindly assist with solution.

I am aware that fintiba will refund the same way the account was credited. This is the reason fintiba does not accept block account payment transaction more than 3 times.
I hope this helps

i think you are way off the mark. the original dispute is whether one could switch from public to private insurance and switch back to public later. And my contribution is YES. Of course, some other factors may or maynot allow this.

Yes I am supporting the same. I am only consolidating with scenarios

i hope you are arguing in good faith. i am now with Knappschaft. There was no exception.
Heck, my salary is more than enough to be privately or publicly insured but i chose the latter.

of course there may be situations where one may not be allowed to switch, and i also don't claim to be an expert in this area but to say that one cannot switch back to public after leaving is not true ( and you have also mentioned some factors that may counter that argument)

One thing you should know about Germany with my experience is that different contact with diverse information. I was at a bank in another city to open a student account. I was told to go to my city where I registered to get a bank account opened. Behold I went to the next branch and nothing of residence registration stopped my bank account opening. Therefore, meeting a showstopper during your insurance doesn’t mean it’s a standard that you can’t maneuver insurances. Another way you may be getting it wrong is that some schls specifically tell you to go to public insurance to sign a document that you won’t be using public insurance since you are already on private again till you graduate. But so far you get a job that gives long contract, bro the company herself will change that your private to public health insurance

Bro, I'm already in the phase where I have all but given up, my school will resume on 15th of October, and it has to be in-person enrollment or forfeit. The future looks pretty bleak regarding meeting that date. We need a miracle at this point. I'm already getting my shit together for Finland a the end of the year, cos this German business is slowly looking like a burst! cry cry sad

I advise pple to get admission to schools that operate online classes and enrollment. It would also help during interview.

It isn't too hard but just make sure you have all your documents and valid requirements.
I did it and it worked for me.

Good morning @togobingi

Can you please identify in details all requirement and maybe a step by step approach. Do i need to search for a job first in Germany before embarking on this route or please give us clues. Also how has life been after you entered Germany, language barrier and the likes. Hope to read from you soon

I have not been able to collect my ielts result before the corona. Now IELTS says courier services will only work after the lockdown. Can I use my 2017 result and tell them they will get the 2020 result when it is ready?

Check online for your result. PDF it with the link. This could work

Happy sunday @togobingi

Is it this easy?

Just wondering. Does anyone have a success story after trial? Or this is new that we just need to test run?

Thanks

togobingi:

Hello.
1) You just need to show your cv as a "certificate of previous work experience".
2) you can use fintiba.com to get your health insurance
3) you need your original educational credentials like WAEC douments and your cv will do fine here too. You will also be asked about your work experience during your interview.

Hello gurus in the house.

I am aware final balance carries weight in UK tourist visa application. If one needs to embark on a journey to the UK with no good final balance? what is the success rate. Also using a salary account that is good but such money finishes in 4days?

thanks

Thank you @justwise. I would like to add that this applicant from the other country is in secondary school and less than 18 years old. Is she allowed to submit her application by herself while her other sibblings and parent submit in Senegal? Or does she need an adult to go with her for the submission?

Thanks

She can apply from there and they all need to state clearly that it's a family trip but applying from different countries
