Happy New month my great people. Please I need una support. My uncle submitted his application (representative of overseas bussiness). He submitted for his wife and the children. They have all been to UK before and all still have valid 2 years tourist visa. It's been 2months now without news from the embassy. We have tracked TSL for the status but still not ready. Can anyone advise on what step to take as this waiting time is unbearable.

Forget that proverb. There is a limit your parent riches would get to, they don't need to teach kid how to catch fish. Rather teach him how to manage already caught fish. Do you expect bill gate child to go learn in computer village in order to fix a computer? Bill gate would never do such. Let us think outside poverty box. We pray we get there someday ChiefAzubuike: This is not how to train a child. In fact they have wasted money on that girl. An ancient Chinese proverb from the Han and Qin dynasty says "Give a man a fish and he will eat today. Teach him how to catch fish and he will eat forever" |

When you do the right empowerment of youth by teaching how to farm and produce food, food would be cheap and available to all. Let us solve the actual problem and not merigoround NwanyiAwkaetiti: You should understand me please... We have the elderly ones, handicapped one that will benefit from the free food. I am not saying young individuals should be fed but when one has no where to turn to, no food on the table, there should be a good kitchen that offers free food. Too bad our country always abuses opportunities. Developed countries have these free food centers, they even pay unemployed citizens! |

We all know where they are driving at. Election is around the corner. Take the bull by the horn. Bring up good initiative. Not food infrastructure. Take your succor to IDP camps. MexicanWolf: It is easy to say teach them to fish. How long do you think the training would last when the students don't have food to eat? There are over 2000 food banks in the UK alone. That's a population of roughly 70 million people. We are almost 200 million. Even people with jobs in UK use food banks because by the time you pay rent and taxes you might not have money for food.
Hunger is different from poverty. The need to survive can make even the most honest man do crazy things.
A food bank goes beyond giving out food items. They also do training and some of them have micro-credit schemes to help people get back on their feet.
I have seen food poor families. It is never a pleasant experience to see children almost deformed by hunger. This man should be encouraged.
God willing I will start my own food bank soon. |

Why don't we imbibe the good way that every individual will appreciate? Why do we like to encourage stomach infrastructure? For how long will you feed people. Teach them how to plant and produce food. Rent out tractors and farming machinery out at subsidized rate. Eating is not our problem. Don't humiliate us in this country. We are not as worst as this. Youths going into farming are not reverting their acrion. Why can't you get them cheap lands, storage facilities for the farm produce? Since I was young, our agric teacher taught me the major problem of agriculture in Nigeria. Till date we have never seen changes. Lack of storage facilities, lack of accessible road, etc. Your organisation could have taken one of this problem and proved solutions rather than pouring cups of water inside an ocean. We like eye service in this part of the world. Lay down a good legacy and your name would remain. Your food program will die and your name will never ring bell. When you empower youths, the beneficiaries will be the one to talk good about you. Now it is in your court to now decide if you still want to go ahead with your food infrastructure program. Thanks NwanyiAwkaetiti: Everything ain't about work. Even the USA gat food banks where people go in to eat for free. |

I disagree totally with you. Who food epp. Why can't they use same resource and energy to empower people on how to plant and produce the food? We are not liberia or Somalia. We are educated and know our right from left. For how long dobyoy want to give us food? Teach us how to catch fish and not give us fish. We can work. We are not lazy. Please finish our ever ready youth that are willing to work with your freebies Hotfreeze: Have you heard of the World Food Program? I'm sure you're ignorant of it and that's why you're coming here to disgrace yourself.
FYI, there are tons of charities that distribute food to the destitute and hungry.
Food is very important. For instance, if you were properly fed, blood would pump into your brain and you won't be typing nonsense as if Yusuf Buhari's bike landed on your head. |

Please teach us how to catch fish and don't give us fish. Naija is not this worst. We don't want your free food. Empower people on how to plant and make food. Don't spoonfeed and kill us like liberia, Somalia, syria.
We are not hungry. It's all scam. Don't use your idea to kill our able agile men ready to work. Empower the youths. Youth never said they will not work of you empower them.
We are tired of NGO coming in the guise to help but penetrate and make our system decay.

Hi bro, Teleperformance will not collect your about to expire passport. Make copies of the visa pages on your old passport. These visa copies is what they would scan and give back your old passport and copies to you. Your new passport would be collected cos that is where your visa will come on. So be rest assured that you would still be able to use your old passport for your IELTS exam Thanks nitrogen: Hi People, I need help. Just completed visitor's visa form online, and made payment. The checklist says I should come with my Passport, other passport (to expire in June), and other documents. My issue is, I need the old/second passport for an IELTS exam this weekend, I cannot afford to submit both passports on my appointment date (thursday 6th of Feb).
Two questions, does Teleperformance withhold supporting documents (in my case, which includes my old passport) after reviewing and making copies of my documents? I understand that my new passport will be retained.
Also, if they are going to hold my old passport, can I defer my appointment till Monday? Not forgetting to mention it that I need the visa by Thursday 1 March, 2018. If I defer till Monday, possible that the visa comes out by 1st of March?
Help my life! |

FLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE from agents. do yourself the greatest favor by reading from the very first page here. you will eventually tutor the supposed agent. cos agents have not even submitted applications for themselves before, let alone been to the embassy. emerich: Hello house, am a 1st time Visa applicant, I want to use an agent for my visa processing, he told me it's about #1M to the UK, pls how reliable is using agents for visa processing, as I don't want my visa application turned down and also being duped. Closing balance is ok. Book medview flight (it's very cheap), look for budget hotels or hostel (very affordable). All these will make your budget fit into the 750k you planned to spend. Get an accommodation close to the tourist attraction sites you plan to visit. Thanks kprake9: My closing balance is about 1.5m Hope it's OK? |

You are good to go. You can use your salary account if you have a good cash flow there. If you have any lump sum in the account, do yourself a favour of writing a cover letter to explain such transaction.
Happy New year
