Budget is not the only point that puts you on track, rather your application entirely. So you need to share with the house how you arrived at 750k, your monthly income, home ties, how long you are staying. Etc. With all that, you would get the best advice

Hi,

If you have a steady income. It's good you abide with using your statement of account. To be logical, ECO may find it hard to believe your case if someone else is sponsoring your tourism and not even a close relative. It's advisable to work on personal finances. This gives the ECO confidence in your application.

2yrs visa will cost you less than 200k naira. As for your daughter in 300level. I would suggest you plan the trip during her long vacation at school. She should get an introduction letter from her HOD stating that she would be returning back to her studies. You should include her filled course form, last sch fee payment receipt. If she has an outstanding result (include a copy of her statement of result), all those documents would show home ties.
Be particular about cash inflow and outflow of your account. Just ensure the amount you budget to spend on the trip is not more than 4months of your monthly take home. Work with a good budget. Book medview airline for itenary (less than 200k for return flight). If you don't have friends or relatives in the UK for accommodation, search for cheap apartment on booking.com (free cancellation).

I go with your point. If you don't have an invitation letter, you can book a hostel (not hotel). All these will reduce your travel cost and your account statement would be able to Carter for the trip.

In my experience, I have always applied for tourist visa with family. The law does not set any minimum amount you must have in your account. Having a large bank balance does not necessarily mean that you have sufficient funds; neither is a low bank balance dispositive of insufficient funds. So I will agree with Ijeshalomo said that pay slip is not needed,

Food

Sightseeing

You show amount little more than all put together.

PS: If you can support the cost of your travel then you won't need an invitation letter.

I quite disagree with this. Once you submit a statement of account indicating your salary monthly without discrepancy, then pay slip is not needed. I know about 4 different pple that submitted just statement of account. I am also a witness. My first application and the second application, I never submitted pay slip. I submitted my salary account and explained other cash flow.

A 6 month payslips is a mandatory documentation if you’re working for govt or a big private organization. If the organization does not issue payslip, then you need to explain this in a cover letter. Please. Check the UKVI website for more detail.

Kindly submit your statement of account for 6months. You may not need to submit pay slip. Not all organisations give staff payslip. Besides your statement of account would not even state basic salary. It will only show the totality of the salary. Statement of account suffices for financial aspect.

Your payslip is very important as it enable the ECO to trace your income within your bank statement and also as evidence of working. All you need to do is to explain why your basic is N5000 and may be get a letter from your human resources to suppoort this baisc pay. The ECO is more interested in seeing consistency in your finanacial in the last 6 months vis a vis your travel budget, and not necessarily the breakdown of you salary.

Knowing someone in the UK who is not a family member can be tricky as you will need to prof the relationship and justify why he need to invite you. If you have enough travel history and cash to spend, I suggest you leave your friend out of this application and book hotel. Having said this, you must disclose your friend as someone you know in the UK, but you will not visit or stay with him.

You should be sincere with your application since you would be accommodating her, the financial aspect should not be a burden on her. She should provide a statement of account that will take care of her return flight. You can state 3months in her application.

Now here is a bit of background on this issue. My visited us in Nov 2016 and left feb 2017. Now I am with child and due to give birth soon. TBH I really want her to come and stay for about 5months and help me with the new child. Please I humbly ask that you advice me based on the questions below…

The thing is now-
(1) what to say in my cover letter as reason why she overstayed the first time (yes it was a family visit visa)
(2) if I state that I want her to stay for five months, do you think they’d think its ludicrous and not grant her? If yes, do I state that yes I want her to come and help me with the new baby?

(3) I stated that she was unemployed and has a husband in her first visa and didn’t provide any bank statements from her, rather I supplied my husbands and our land registry docs and passport docs.
(4) What do they look for in a bank statement? The fact that one has a huge lump sum of money or ability to prove that money comes in and out regardless of what is in there at a given time?

It is better to explain the extended stay in your cover letter so as not to jeopardise your new application. You are also eligible for 2yrs application. If you can proof financially her stay for more than 2weeks in your new application, it is no problem.

secondly,considering the first question above, will it be ideal for me to increase her stay time this time around or just stick to the initial two weeks?

The closing balance is not the point here. Rather; getting home ties which i think has been the reasons for previous denial of your schengen visa. If i were you, i would procure a cheap landed property in ogun state (boundary lagos) of 500k naira, fix the survey documentation in my name for 200k naira. With such documentation, I think you have a good home tie. And you can apply even with a closing balance of 1m naira so far you have a stable monthly income that reflects on your account.

I intend to apply for a U.K. Visiting visa as tourist, I am a single male with no relation in the U.K. But my profile is : work experience of 5 years as a production technician in a multinational coy. I have traveled to Kenya, South Africa, Tanzania, Ghana, UAE. I have been denied schengen visa 3times and USA visa once. I earn about 200k per month. I intend to apply for the visa by early May 2018 to be on vacation in the month of August 2018 for 6 nights. But the issue is that I am still single at the age of 31 when I will apply with and I do not have any landed assets. I do hope to apply with an account statement of abt 3million NGN strictly from my monthly salary. Please how does my changes of getting d visa stand

I applied to UK 2yrs back for a graduation ceremony. I was granted 6months. I couldn't meet up for the ceremony. So I travelled for Xmas and new year holiday (14days). My sister filled the application then for me so I barely know most of the informations she filled for me. Example, if I had a relative there, my employment date, if I had asset.
In my new application, I was scared but filled the right information and thinking I may be refused for inconsistent informations. So I was already preparing a letter to the embassy incase I was denied. But glory to God, I saw 2yrs visa on it.

NL family, please praise the Lord for me.

You need to state your figures and currency clearly.

@ justwise, the figures are all in GBP. I have booked hostel accomodation. I would be staying for 9days. I give equivalent of 45pounds to my mom monthly. She's not a dependant in anyway. I just filled in that aspect. Kindly advise more if I am wrong.

If you are footing the whole bill, then it will be the same amount. If you will be supoorted by anyone else, then the amount will not be the same. For example let assume you are planning to spend £1000 and you also have someone supporting the trip say contributing £200. Then the total cost of the trip is cost to you personally which is £1000 plus £200 equal to £12000.
