Truth be told. The so called task force is just a paramilitary arm of PDP Lagos state. FG is is not even aware of drive. Obanikoro and co started this using SURE P as disguise. Why is it only in Lagos State? You see them lurking around PDP party stalwarts and offices guiding and moving around with them. It may may interest you to know that 5 months since the inception, no body has been paid. The applicants equally paid 30k each to purchase their outfits. As, i speak to you, our unemployed youths are being lured with the application form by PDP agents to be purchase with 10k. What a country! They just keep reassuring them to be patient that they will we all smile in the end. Believing that once PDP wins lagos, the task force will take over the role of LASTMA which will be thrown into oblivion. |
I hope FG will go and bring them in and treat them accordingly just the way US, Germany and co did for her citizens? |

Thanks cleverly on this. I don't really blame the PDP. Is a big blow to them and they will want to fight a unconstitutional as usual. To all the progressives, I say a big congrats. We are gradually come close to the seat of power. Come 2015, we shall wear our deserved crown to enable us put this our beloved country on track again. I see change coming. Nigeria will have cause to smile. |

she actually kept it so real i weep for this country and her citizens. The facts are their but we choose to be blindfolded by stomach infrastracture, tribalism, religion etc. Again, here comes another opportunity. DO THE RIGHT THING. |
first Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, has expressed her support for the governorship bid of former Minister of State for Education, Nyesom Wike, saying the aspirant is primed for the leadership of Rivers State. Speaking when she paid a solidarity visit to Wike in his Abuja residence on Thursday, Jonathan said, she came to give him her blessings, noting that the former minister proved himself when he was in the federal cabinet. She said, “I am giving you the blessing of a mother. The blessing a mother gives to a beloved son. Go and you will conquer. He is a Minister that delivered while he served in the cabinet. Wike proved himself and is ready to serve in a higher capacity.” Jonathan described the former minister as a listening and respectful politician who obeyed her when she asked him to drop his senatorial aspiration in 2011. “You listened to me and dropped your senatorial aspiration. I pray God to protect you, lead you and please go on with your aspiration. “I have handed you (Wike) over to our father, Dr. Peter Odili and the people of Rivers State. You are going to Rivers State for the betterment of all of us and to wipe our tears,” she stated. After her speech, she symbolically handed Wike over to the former Governor of Rivers State, Dr. Peter Odili, who was part of her entourage. Responding, Wike assured the First Lady that the PDP would emerge victorious in all elections in 2015. He commended the First Lady for serving as a mother to all Rivers people, pointing out that the PDP would continue to wax stronger under her guidance. Also speaking, former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Chief Austin Opara, said that with the support of the First Lady, PDP in Rivers State has gained more grounds and is ready to win in 2015. He said leaders of Rivers PDP collectively bought governorship form for the former minister because they are united in the quest to take over from the All Progressives Congress government in the state. Prominent Rivers indigenes at the meeting include, Senator Adewari Pepple, Evans Bipi, Chief Sergeant Awuse, former deputy speaker, Chibudom Nwuche, Chief Austin Opara, former Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, Executive Director, Finance, Niger Delta Development Commission, Dr. Ogiri, former commissioner of Sports, Boma Iyayi and an Ogoni political chieftain, Chief Kenneth Kobani. http://www.punchng.com/news/patience-jonathan-backs-wikes-gov-bid/ I thought she will mention one achievement of Wike while in office. Just messing up her office. |
The earlier claim from Oshobaba was just a mere noise to scare other intents. Everybody knows he has been a loyalist and has always supported the values of GMB |
Governor Adams Eric Oshiomhole of Edo State has laid to rest insinuations on his purported bid for the presidential ticket of his party, the All progressives Congress (APC), saying while he remains committed to the Nigerian project, his focus now is on accelerating the pace of development in Edo State. Oshiomhole Oshiomhole In a statement personally signed by him, Governor Oshiomhole said: “following persistent inquiries from friends, political associates and well-meaning Nigerians both at home and abroad over speculations of my interest in the 2015 presidential election, and media comments by my aides, I wish to categorically state that I am not contesting for the 2015 presidential election. My focus now is to continue with our efforts to accelerate the pace of our development programmes to take Edo State to the next level. “Today, I believe my party, the APC, has enough credible materials to pick from to fly the party’s flag in the 2015 presidential election. “Anyone conversant with my antecedents will attest that I am not the type who does things half-heartedly. If I had resolved to run in 2015 I would have come out boldly and publicly to declare my intention. “Recall that in 2007 shortly after the expiration of my tenure, as two-term President of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), I similarly came under pressure from well-meaning Nigerians from across all the divides (including foremost human rights lawyer and activist, Chief Gani Fawehinmi of blessed memory) to vie for the presidency. “But convinced that anyone genuinely interested in service could do so in any capacity, I insisted against popular demand not to contest the presidency but the Governorship of Edo State in 2007 and, to the Glory of God, I won. Again, in 2012, I sought re-election and resoundingly won. “I remain absolutely committed to the Nigerian project. “I offer this clarification to clear the air once and for all.” - See more at: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2014/10/im-vying-apc-presidential-ticket-oshiomhole/ The General is seriously on point. Next on the line is Kwankwaso and Atiku.

A former military Head of State, Maj.-Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, on Thursday became the second presidential aspirant to pick the expression of interest and nomination forms of the All Progressives Congress. Buhari, who paid the required N27.5m in Abuja was handed the forms by the party’s national chairman, John Oyegun. Oyegun handed over the forms to Buhari after former Bayelsa State Governor, Timipre Sylva, handed over a Union Bank cheque of N27.5m on behalf of Buhari to the National Organising Secretary of the party, Senator Osita Izunaso. http://www.punchng.com/news/buhari-picks-apc-presidential-form/ The polity is heating up. PDP, ATIKU seems rattled by this development. Fellow progressives let us join hand and contribute towards this change agendum. Your contribution in any form will go far. Thanks to the sylvas and co. OkikiOluwa1:I don't think they will risk not doing that. BRF is a perfect analogy of what good governance is. |
That joke was taken too far. |
These women need to be watched before they ridicule the Catholic Church. |
All hail the Okowa Sycophants. |
