Romance › Re: What I Saw In My Wife's WhatsApp Chat With Her Close Friend by Ikaeniyan0: 1:49pm On Jun 07, 2025 |
Futuristica: My wife has been acting weird for some months now, like she doesn't apologize if she is wrong, doesnt try to seek avenues for us to reconcile if we have quarrels. Instead, I am the one that always put the foot forward. If I point out something, she shows no remorse. She often says things like 'this life na once' .
Just a background.
I stumbled on this message sent by her workplace close girl friend. This tiktok message talks about falling in love with a married man because the man makes her feel loved etc etc.
But the caption below by the friend says, we will miss you so much.
My mind has been wondering what it means. I woke her from sleep to confront her to explain what the message means (it's a message sent this January) ..she looked scared or maybe anxious as I asked her if she had cheated on me with anyone recently.. offcourse ,'no' is the normal answer.
I showed her the message for her to explain what it was about . She said she can't remember what it was about and that she doesn't know. When I pressed further, she started gaslighting that if I feel she cheated, I should give her a divorce .
Dear house, what are you views on this matter? I am more concerned about what this message might mean.
Please be fair in your judgement. Thank you. Can't you just walk away? The lady is not in love with you again |

There's no state in Nigeria where imported rice is selling for 122k. You can presently get a 50kg bag of rice for 60k in Lagos. |

udemzyudex: Lol.. Bro it's the one you know of OK, there are others you don't know about and still languishing in prison, what about the Endsar saga? Some are still in prison till today and some were killed, so what's the difference? You talk, dss or police will find and arrest you, is it not the same thing that happened under the military rule? Bro, you've no fact about the others you're talking about. You're just throwing around random talks to base your fables on. Tell me the name of the case you know, so I will take you serious. I experienced military rule in Nigeria, democracy is far better. Who do you know that protest and he's still in jail for protesting? Do you even know the numbers of people who lost their life in the 90's? Rufai oseni will be dead or be locked up in prison by now under the military regime. Go and make research about Dele Giwa and how he was killed. Go and make research about how Ogoni right activists were hanged under the military regime. Democracy is Nigeria is far better than Military rule. Under the military the boys will still be locked up and no one dare protest because of it. If you protest or even talk about it, you will be jailed. OAU students locked down the police station till the students were released. Under the military, such a thing won't be allowed |
Politics › Re: Police Bow To Pressure Release OAU Students Detained For Protesting Wike’s Visit by Ikaeniyan0: 7:02am On Jun 07, 2025 |
AguluLiar: OAU students didn't protest against Wike. Only two disgruntled elements did and they have been taught a lesson. Ask any OAU student on campus on that day, there was a protest, in fact the protest delayed the program. |

udemzyudex: Then someone will say the worse democracy is better than a military regime. What's the difference? They didn't lose their life and were eventually freed. Under the military, they will still be locked up and might even be killed. And people like you won't even have the freedom to talk about it on nairaland. Democracy is better than military regime. |

kaludestiny10: I want to ask a question. Was Wike the efcc chairman then when Buhari assumed office as the president? Buhari was the one that asked efcc to investigate the Dasuki money sharing crime and Wike wasn't in the Buhari government good books. So how come people were running to Wike for help when he was just resuming office newly as a governor then. This Lere's talk doesn't add up to me. The looters like Abati were asked to returned the money they looted. Any of the looter that can't return the money he or she loot, the looter will be prosecuted. |

givedemwotowoto: Are the people who voted for him in 2023 getting rewarded now? Has he bettered their lives?
The people that will vote him are people from all regions including the SE who are directly benefiting from him, or directly benefiting from someone who is benefiting directly from him (because politics is about interest) and people who are very loyal to their tribe and want their kinsman to be there.
But that’s like 25% of Nigerians. The rest will choose a different path We will answer you in 2027 |
Politics › Re: Three Reasons Why The Igbo Nation Must Again Reject Tinubu In 2027 by Ikaeniyan0: 5:37pm On Jun 06, 2025 |
gidgiddy: I want to thank my fellow Igbos for resoundingly rejecting Tinubu in 2023, and I have no doubt that we will do so again in 2027. For the few of us contemplating voting Tinubu in 2027, I urge you not to, for three main reasons.
1. You can bet that Tinubu’s running mate in 2027 will be Shettima, and it would be madness for us to vote a Muslim/Muslim ticket. It has always that if a Presidential aspirant is a Muslim, his running mate should be a Christian, and vice-versa. But in Tinubu’s desperation for the Northern Muslim vote, he picked a fellow Muslim. Can you imagine if Okorocha, Obi or Umahi were running for President, and picked a Northern Christian? Who in the Muslim North would vote for a Christian/Christian ticket? We Igbos must reject a Muslim/Muslim ticket in 2027
2. In this political dispensation, we have had 8 years of Obasanjo, and by 2027, 4 years of Tinubu. Should Tinubu win in 2027, it will 4 terms the South West has had. The South East has had none, and the South South has had one. How can we Igbos help the South West get a 4th term when the two other zones in the South have had one, or none at all? We have no business helping to make this happen. If the Presidency of Nigeria rotates between North and South, the Igbo nation should support someone from the SE or SS in 2027, they are the ones who have had the least bite to the apple.
3. Tinubu’s first two years in office has a complete car crash, and a disastrous failure. I used to think nobody could be worse than Buhari, until Tinubu came. All indices have gotten worse, the economy, inflation, insecurity, value of the Naira etc. The man has no clue what his doing. We have no business supporting such abysmal failure to continue in 2027.
Ultimately, it will up to the Nigerian people to choose the next President, assuming credible elections are held. However, we Igbos have no business supporting in anyway in 2027
Eziokwu bu ndu! No one cares about the 5% from the south east. They are just a dot in a circle. Nigerians from the south west, south south and northern Nigeria will vote for him https://gazettengr.com/buhari-justified-sidelining-igbos-and-ruling-nigeria-based-on-97-5-division-femi-adesina/Don't sha cry when the people who voted for Tinubu in 2027 are getting rewarded |
