It is absolutely well with my soul... When i had looked on my experience abroad(UK) i tell my goodself that i really tried! An immigration officer that handled my case was totally dumbfounded because she couldn't ascertain why i have gone for the sham marriage. She never stopped talking about my immigrantion history which she really admired: if she was to be theresa may, she would let me go but its totally out of her jurisdiction( she just called my name and said "accept the slap" ;( and i did by signing documents to return to mother Nigeria. Someone talked about impatient! Yes you are right about but i dont want to believe your second name to be JOB. When you got no helping hand and its just only you, if i had not got any work permit from nigeria to study in the uk with student visa as well, i might not travel as it will be extremely hard for me cos i know where i have come from. I went to UK to study and work as well to support my studies. But i had the work permit and genuine visa and everything is going fine until they stopped immigrants working while studying as they thought immigrants was taken away jobs from their people.. Ask me what kind of job, odd jobs that students do to partly support themselves. I have been to the UK and i thank them very much indeed for giving me the opportunity in the first place. I will always confess that i was made a criminal cos of what the UK govt believe and not because of what i have done |
@justwise.. I got my visa here in Nigeria with weekly work permit as applicable to students. My visa ran out in the course of study and i renewed again and still got my visa. I was legally studied and was law abiding. As i have mentioned in my comments earlier, most people that have been in the UK btw 2012 till date can testify UK immigration policy on stripping working permit for most foreign immigrants. To be honest, there are those that abuse the privilege of working while studying be it nigerians,Pakistanis, Bangladesh, Indians etc. The policy really affected me. My school record was very fine, my immigration record was fine as well. I need the working and studying as well as i am not from a rich family so i wanna support my humble self. I didn't hurt anyone by the marriage, it was just to get work permit. I got almost 18 months visa when all these are happening. In the summary, i was made a criminal not because of what i have done but because of what they believe. Only GOD can judge me!! |
Chaaaiiii!!! Na now i know sey nairaland pass Google oooo. See all these beautiful answers i dey find for Google yet no avail. Na my friend just ask me to type this on nairaland and i got all these. My people, no be say i wan do the marriage oo, na UK immigration policy oo. I got work permit from nigeria and my visa before travelling with hope i can work and partly sponsor my study with little help coming from nigeria but they change am not only for me so what should i have done? Most people here will do exactly what i did just to carry on with my studies and work. I salute all for all your beautiful answers!! Na God hand everything dey. Its only God can judge me |
@mondisweets, it didn't just work out very well. I bet it got snitched up! |
@classicalmusic, no i have not made any attempt to travel. My ppt is only 12 weeks to expire so not sure how to go about it yet |
