@Ikevin, Majority of GNLD drugs are supplement and they don't disturb pharmacist..u don't. Have to be a pharmacist to sale their drugs even when I finish my ssce I registered with them..they call it networking and most of their drugs don't sale...Get your facts right..even those Igbo dudes still make money...Am not sure u are a Pharmacist
am not a pharmacist, a biochemist now a medical student. I am not going to argue any longer on this issue, when you guys enter the market, you know better.

Samgreguc:

all my years in the labour market, I never saw a pharmacist in my shoe. No Pharmacist earns less for an average life and 95 percent are in pharmaceutics.

How many pharmacist have you seen looking for a bank work?
let us hope it is as you said. You have not told me what you studied while in the market by the way.
Education / Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by ikevin(m): 12:09pm On Oct 22, 2014
Samgreguc:

I know definitely that GNLD will trouble them but, saying good jobs for pharmacists are ridiculously low compared to those for it is indeed a lie and thats why I asked you not to say what you don't know. I've once been in the labour market.
.
.
BTW, don't mistake Pharmacists for Pharm technicians.
what!!!!! A lie, you joking brof!!! Okay, on a scale of 100, what is the percent of pharmacists that the pharmacy sub-sector absorbs per year. Are you in HR? You've been in the labour market as a ? Cmon brof, I am comfortable being a student of realism, do not view me from a prophet of doom perspective. I wish everyone a good career, but it is important we relate with what is obtainable in Nigeria.

Samgreguc:

Don't say what you no not.
are you a graduate or still in school. I am a graduate and I know what is obtainable in the labour market. GNLD guys disturbs pharmacists especially to hawk their drugs at a commission. I stated that there are good jobs out there but it is ridiculously low compared to those jostling for it. What is your take brof, by the way why would you assume my knowledge when we've not even met.

Exactly,my brother that's what have been thinking oooo.. I school @ uniben pharmacy and the PharmD is still intact,am still in 100l though but the question is that how will I spend 6years in school and I year internship plus NYSC 8 years. And someone will say I won't be called a Doctor.... Please those that have graduate come to my aid and explain life after graduating as a doctor of pharmacy
life out of school as a pharmacist, my brother. GNLD guys would like you well Oº°˚˚˚° . Basically, they would compel you to sell their drugs on the street for them at a commission. Am not being sarcastic, that is the real deal, although good jobs are out there for your course but the competition is extremely tough. Yet in my funny mode, come and buy your drugs here, buy 2 get 1 free.

Hello. good morning.. Which of DENTISTRY or RADIOGRAPHY will u advice sum1 to do, aside mbbs. Which among the two, do you guys think in terms of Job prospect, Job security, work load, relevancy in the medical environ and study sagacity. is better.. Unilag aspirant 2014/2015.
if you have the opportunity to study dentistry, it pays better to take it. On graduation, you can still be a medical doctor by undergoing about a year programmen or even switch while in sch. Essentially, dentists are doctors too, they specialise on human teeth though. You get paid on the same level as doctors during housemanship. Abeg, take it jare.

She may/maynt knw d powers dt b...but i believe that Uniben still admit based on merit...last yr only 8 candidates were selected for MBBS
from my comment, I didn't state that uniben admits via the back door, but that particular lady definitely knows the powers that be. There is no way there won't be merit, especially since the course is medicine. They can't just admit anybody who would end up killing people. This is Nigeria.
