PoliticsBurkina Faso Presidents Resigns After Protests by ikevin(op): 5:58pm On Oct 31, 2014
The violent protest that surged through the capital of Burkina Faso (Ouagadougou) has forced Blaise Compaore the immediate president to step down after 27 years of ruling the impoverished country. He resigned today, a different approach taken as against yesterday when he declared that he would rule for an extra year. The protesters burnt down the parliament and the military dumped Mr. Blaise. The head of the military is currently in charge for 90 days, to prepare the country for elections. Source-New York Times.

if it was few years back I won't even blink before I take the offer bt now I got less thn 2 yrs 2 b through wth d whole uni thing and hv bn promised a gr8 job afterwards and besides my family r not in support of going back to 100l bt MBBS wll always remains 2 b MY passion
my dear, treat promises like a handful of air. It holds no true meaning, what if the person promising you a job gets sacked, dies or your relationship strains immediately you need the job? Humans would always be humans. If it is your true passion, I would advise you to take it. You can convince your family, I am sure they would understand. Yet, you can still let it go, but never base your life on the word of mouth of a fellow human being. Think of the next 20 years, your state of mind then, what would you have preferred mi lady. Whatever rocks your boat my dear. What a funny world, a million people out there are dying for this course, yet we have someone who is not that concerned and has been given. Life is something else.

Essentially, to join association football which is govern by FIFA, members of each association in our case NFF, must settle disputes only at Court of Arbitration for Sports never a country's court. By the way, it is nice hitting front page for the first time. Let us hope Chris Giwa is moved to do the very needed.
SportsFIFA To Ban Nigeria By The End Of Today If... by ikevin(op): 3:27pm On Oct 27, 2014
The world governing body overseeing association football around the world FIFA, has threatened to ban Nigeria from association football until her next congress which would hold next year May. This is as a result of the court verdict last week that ousted the new board of NFF led by Amaju Pinnick, the verdict was pursued by Chris Giwa who seems hell bent on becoming the head of football association in Nigeria. The immediate consequence of this decision is that, Nigeria would not be allowed to play the rest of her matches to contest for slots in the proposed AFCON next year which in itself is having issues due to ebola virus disease. The head of CAF claimed that FIFA almost truncated Nigeria's falcons from playing against Cameroon on saturday which we won, but had to plead with FIFA to allow the game go as scheduled and drop the hammer the incoming week which is today. The court case and decision must be withdrawn today to avoid FIFA's hammer.

Gross Anatomy: Snell's Clinical Anatomy By Regions

Histology : BRS Histology + Di Fiore's Atlas of Histology

Embryology : BRS Embryology

Physiology : NMS Physiology plus/minus Fox Physiology

Biochemistry : MN Charteajea Textbook of Medical Biochemistry

The books I recommend to medical students are often looked down upon. They are indeed risk adventures. Most medical students I recommend books to end up not using them. Why? Because they're not the usual books. Medical students are used to the books generations ahead of them used and prefer spending long grueling hours on huge endless textbooks. To some of them, that's the drill.

But one girl attempted to use of of the books I recommended in her Pathology exam. Her classmates were studying Almighty Robbins and Cortran Pathologic Basis of Disease. I told her not to use it. My reason: the book was too detailed and time wasting. I offered her a trio of Pathology Secrets+Pathguy.com+Some lecture notes I emailed her. The results was out last week- she topped the class with a distinction mark. They still think she's a genius.

Happy weekend.
@lomaxx, sup brof! I suppose the person you are replying is in 200L, same with me. Do you have the e-book version of these textbooks? And can you mail them to me? If yes, my e-mail is kelvinreal_oo1@yahoo.com. Thanks. By the way, how was your 200L experience?

This mindset is very destructive.

Those that are in MBBS, how many heads do they have?

Competitive or not, if MBBS is what you want, study hard and smart and earn your place.

Don't do any course thinking that because they all work in the hospital, then they have the same relevance. We all can't be doctors- yes but save your future the imminent regret of not trying or at least trying hard enough when you at least had the chance.
on point brof, my principle is: if you really want it, then you know what it takes to get it, only then would you get it. The dude hs to jack like his life depends on it.

it is roughly the same thing in school, except that you are a doctor of teeth basically. From your post, you seem more interested in medicine, you can transfer I think in your 300L or so, also once you are through with sch, you can go for 1 year schooling after housemanship to become a full medical doctor, what's your take?
