DELSU is wicked sha oo.. I dare to say I did better than at least 80% of the admitted candidates, yet..............
I thought admission was gonna be free and fair in the new VC's administration but apparently the opposite is the case. Frustrating so many Nigerian youths. Nothing is more frustrating than meriting something and still not getting it.
Anyway, I refuse to be frustrated. I'm just gonna dust myself up and move forward.
#SoHelpMeGod
boss I greet..while I am not trying to defend Delsu, I must state that admission under the new VC is cleaner. You must weigh in the distribution of courses to Local govts as well, probably people from your LGA got a little bit above you, they would be picked while those from other LGA have to be selected. It is a state school. Just try next year, I am sure you have a better chance here, do not lose faith brother, looking forward to hearing the good news next year.

Arguing about who gets more pay is not the reason for this thread. This thread has been largely derailed. No more academics, no more inspiration. This days, its insults, name calling and beer-parlour arguments. Really, medical and dental students arguing about who's profession is more important. We need to get this thread back on its feet please.

Whynotthetruth:

1)Yet again like your brothers you have selective amnesia... You blamed Jonathan for your woes in Osun, Lagos, Ogun or Oyo etc ruled by APC more than any party...yet chastise SE if they do same...Why didn't you hold yours accountable too and shifted them to Jonathan... hypocrites!!!

2)Diversification is about so many things including mineral resources...

3)IGR is a function of economic activities there...Why did federal government refuse siting Seaport in proximity to commercial nerve centre of the country?...cheesygrin Do you know what that will do to IGR of SE states?...

4)Cut off marks for enrollment into unity schools in Nigeria or visit to NUC website or Googling MDG achievement rate in Nigeria or representations of Nigeria at competitions home cum abroad will tell you more about SE states with regard to human resources or education cheesygrin

Facts are sacred...Twisting truths and living in denial won't do you much good...
funny enough am a deltan-ibo. With your so called human resources, how come SE is largely underdeveloped? Answer lies with your political leaders yet again. You guys are so filled with hate goodness!!!! Can you remind us the reasons for this agitation please.

Whynotthetruth:

How old are you?...Can states mine or diversify their economy outside of the template of the centre
yet again like your brothers, you reply with insults. Does diversification mean only exploration of minerals.? How has your IGR profile being so far, how willing are companies interested in siting in SE, how much tax is collected per month, what of human resources? Very little can be said of the SE, and it is the doings of your governors, senators, representatives majorly.

Whynotthetruth:

cheesygringrin smh... 1)You accused of deciding for them and also went ahead to decide for them...Ever taken time to see how the protest is being championed by those States you listed? cheesygrin including Bayelsa?...Ask anybody that visited baysela within last week

2)Economy of Biafra isn't dependent solely on oil(which we have in Anambra, Imo, Abia etc)...because we have other mineral resources in abundance eg Granite, coal etc... coupled with entrepreneurial, and commercial ingenuity of Igbo as shown in Aba, Onitsha, etc or technological prowess of Nnewi etc...or agricultural product of Ebonyi, Anambra etc...

You need lots of growing up to do boy!!!...life isn't about oil alone...Nigeria is not better than Switzerland that has no oil...
that misguided youths are carrying flags on the street does not represent the thoughts of the populace. You talked about diversification, how much of that have your SE governors done. You blame FG for everything.

This is the same reason the Ibos are hated. A simple question of which states make up Biafra, you guys went on insulting. Any little thing, you insult. You are so filled with hate and bile. This is not the way to go about your interest. But really, which states make up Biafra, try educating us about Biafra a little bit.

I will advice you not to take my post personal as it is entirely my opinion. If it may interest you, i dont believe in any future of this country and i am not affiliated to any political party. This country was formed on an ill foundation and thats the reason its the way it is today. Nigeria is a failed country and her supposed leaders are only there for their pockets, hence they dont deserve any form of respect from me.
I appreciate your response bro. While I must understand your disappointment at Nigeria's progress and essence in the scheme of things in the world as at today, definitely we, I mean you, me and every other Nigerian youth out there with the volatile potentials within us cannot constitute a failed country. The country has been in the gutters for a long time, an overnight bath wouldn't do the trick. Trust me bro, this country is all we have, leave the country and see how regimented ur life seems, with democracy being exhibited at the last elections (removal of a sitting president) you can't tell me we have failed, yes a lot seems cloudy for now, but strangely I am a strong, unrepentant and extreme believer in my home, my country. You and I have the growing means of altering the future of this country. But definitely, the things we say in the public alters foreigner's view about us. Imagine a Nigerian in UK being quizzed about 8 times a day just because he is Nigerian.

I just observed that Mere commissioner Osunbade seems to be on only this clothe in all his caption recently.......and he actually looks like a houseboy in it.

First FTC in a long while.
now while I would probably assume that you are a supporter of the PDP, we youths of today must as a matter of fact put country first before any divisions. That is the number 2 man in the country someone like you who probably would not be the number 1million man in Nigeria in a long while. Give respect to whom its due, so that men likewise will respect you when nature says its your time. That is really uncouth and dirty of you, all you guys do is to go online and type rubbish insults against our dear country representative. Try to be intelligently critical in your posits. This is one of the sins of PDP that removed them from office, always using very dirty languages against the APC (supporter of APC, buhari has no brain etc), where are they now. Just my posit, you are a youth I guess, let's build this country together. God bless Nigeria.

Greetings bro cheesy
I wouldn't advise Sembulingham for fresh reading of Physiology topics, guyton or ezeilo r very good textbook, a good review textbook then would be Ganon. Sebulingham is a book to get quick info, more of cramming and little understanding of the essence.

This is very true, in the sense that such pass rate is possible with the current curriculum of med school in Nigeria where the load far exceeds the time to cover them. It is not entirely the lecturer's problem, neither does it mean that 93.6% of the students are olodos. Centje, how many people passed physiology 1st test in our class then? Lol

It is a test result, usually at the begining of the 1st professional exam, so the examiner might have been very strict regarding the marking scheme. Then, many med students are yet to understand how to pass and what to read. Many are still lost in the never-ending volumes of stuff to read.

In time the scores will improve, and by the end of the 1st professional exam, pass rate should be around 50%, partly because these scores might have stimulated the students more, and partly because the students get to mature and read more purposefully.

The result is a true reflection of med school, at that stage in many schools. This is the kind of things non medical students will never understand, even our closest neighbours in allied medical departments.
I really appreciate your thoughts.

My apologies if am going to offend any1 but most comments I read here is made up of inferiority mentality. These world leaders are nothing but public servants with fortunate achievements sworn in by their citizens to perform. So being in front row, back or standing awkward is nothing special. I once snapped with Angela Merkel at a restaurant in Berlin during breakfast, am no world leader, also snapped with John kerry at Washington, am not a world leader, and many more. I dnt care if my president snap with Jesus or Allah, all I want is for him to fulfill 75% of his promises esp tackling corruption. Nice pictures doh. Also wish him long life n strength.
me too, I snapped with d aboki in my street, and I am no world leader.

very tough o, all Federal sch would not accept, very few state schools I guess accept. Delsu doesn't accept. Very tight, besides I fink the school would consider 2:1 before 2:2.

In a matter of few years to come, you will become a point of reference for good. This legacy of one man one vote & making our votes count in a free & fair election that you are leaving behind will surely put you in the right side of history. None of your predecessors ever did that. Thanks for giving our votes a voice even if you didn't benefit from it directly now. Long live Your Excellency. This is the Goodluck you are leaving behind for all Nigerians.

as the incoming government destroy yours with insurgent and propaganda they will have it rough as the stormy sea

so shall it be

if it didn't happen know I'm not called
why do you feel comfortable cursing a country you come from, simply because you do not like the face of the incoming president. I have lost most of my hope on my fellow Nigerian youth, just write things without reasoning. Just filled with hate and tribalistic tendincies.

Pls who can help me answer this question. To be submitted this Monday [20-4-2015]

AFTER A MEAL THE LUMEN OF THE STOMACH AND INTESTINE CONTAINS POWERFUL PROTEOLYTIC SUBSTANCE. WHY DO THIS ENZYMES NOT DIGEST THE PANCREAS WHICH PRODUCE THEM OR WALL OF THE INTESTINE
the proteolytic (digestive) enzymes are present in pancreatic and intestinal juices as zymogens and are activated by proteolytic cleavge of one of their polysacharide chain (regulatory chain) in the presence of food. In the absence of food, they remain in their zymogen form, therefore do not digest the GIT.
