To campaign for pres tinumbu is not a crime, but it is a show of stupidity to claim that this present gov is doing a great job.

This should have been done day 1. Hence, preventing those guys from settling down.
PoliticsRe: Fubara Withdraws From APC Governorship Primary by Ilaje1: 1:40am On May 21
This is what happens when you have foolish people pushing. He shouldn't have fought Wike. He should have focused on consolidating power forst before challenging Wike.

Farooq Kperogi is an idiot. He always incite tribal sentiments. He should list all the political appointment and list see which zones has more. I'm sure NW is the most heavily represented. But this idiots know how to gaslight and incite his fellow idiots emotionally.
BusinessRe: South Africa Denied Me Entry Over Expired Visa – BUA Chairman, Abdul Rabiu by Ilaje1: 11:46am On May 16
madridguy:
Alhaji Rabiu should have renew his visa before embarking on the journey.

Kudos to the South African immigration, unlike our own bambiala immigration officers that all they know is to be begging money from both legal and illegal people coming and leaving the country.
I guess you are blind and didn't see where he took responsibility for that. If not that you lack comprehension you would know that's not part of the main issue, he questioned them on allowing those with visa because they white or European but not him because he is African.

PoliticsRe: Kwankwaso convenes stakeholder meeting, set to join NDC - PoliticsDigest by Ilaje1: 10:57pm On May 01
alsudan:
Almost certain that Obi will join Kwankwaso in NDC to Run the OK Ticket that Nigeria desperately desires.

Atiku the desperado can consider ADC dead and buried.

Might just go and pick NDC HoR Ticket, as the OK Tsunami will blow many into elective offices.
Lol. First and Second is btw Tinubu and Atiku, any other person is politically lightweight compare to 2. Know this, know the truth. This is not about tribal votes that some people are banking on.
PoliticsRe: Peter Obi in Closed-Door Meeting with Seyi Makinde in Ibadan by Ilaje1: 5:39am On Apr 29
esnbrutality:
We went down memory lane and got the receipts. grin
Firstly SDP is defunct. SDP of today is not the same as SDP of 92/93. Most of the SDP started AD. AD to APC is one party. Give it to Tinubu, he never left a party.
PoliticsRe: Old El-rufai Video Shows ADC Leaders Have Plan B, Foresaw Current Party Crisis by Ilaje1: 2:47pm On Apr 04
I do not know if we, Nigerians, are stupid or it is just our political leaders. Let's look at the following together:

1. You do not want to use an existing party because of the crisis in those party.
a. Are the people coming to form the new party not from the crises infested parties?
b. Who caused the crisis in those parties? Won't cause it in thr new party?
c. If most of you couldn't manage your ego in a smaller party, how are going to work together in the new one?

2. Why do Nigeria think these people are different? Haven't they jumped from one party to another? Some have even jump among 3 parties?

3. Isn't it apparent that they are just after power?

4. What were their records when they were in power? Please no give me lamba ooo. Because most of them dey lie.

4. All of them including APC are the same. If you like allow someone to deceive to dey expect miracle.
PoliticsRe: How Kwankwaso’s Excessive Demands Collapsed Political Deal With Tinubu, APC by Ilaje1: 11:08pm On Jan 30
AustineE1:
Well I'm not a fan of kwankwaso but I am ever grateful that his negotiation with the oppressive ruling party failed and this will benefit ADC in every manner, the north west that use to be the strongest base of APC is now open for grabs....other parts of Nigeria like the south east, south south, north central, parts of south west, parts of north east without rigging and the INEC 'glitches',will certainly vote overwhelmingly for ADC. 2027 is pregnant and only time shall tell.
That's your emotion and not facts. NC will be divided as usual.
PoliticsRe: How Kwankwaso’s Excessive Demands Collapsed Political Deal With Tinubu, APC by Ilaje1: 10:47pm On Jan 30
Gunayo:
Kwankwaso surest way to 2031 presidency is to be V,P to Peter Obi. Take it or leave it. That is the sincere truth. Kwankwaso must swallow his pride and pitch his tent with Obi before it is too late. A word is enough for the wise. Ire ooo.
But he knows Obi cannot win the election provided Tinubu and Atiku are running. Best position Obi will get is 3rd. So he's using his brain and not feelings.
PoliticsRe: Fubara May Meet Tinubu As Rivers Row Escalates With Assembly Probe by Ilaje1: 1:07pm On Jan 09
Dogalmighty17:
This is why I don't believe Tinubu has as much political acumen as his supporters say he does. Under Obasanjo, can anyone try what Wike is doing now? Obasanjo knew how to weld political power and had all the governors whipped in line. There was no minister in his cabinet that wasn't in fear of him. Even Chief Tony Anenih who was a titan in his own right, allowed Obasanjo's word to be law in the party.

Tinubu just wants to be in power but he simply doesn't know how to weild it.
You guys spill nonsense too much. Was Adedibu not controlling Oyo state, someone without any office, removed a sitting governor, also ensure the next didn't win his 2nd term. He single handedly picked governors in Oyo state. What happened to Ngige during OBJ? They even went to Okija shrine. What about Jonathan and Amaechi where Wike became the weapon used by Jonathan and his wife against Amaechi, while Amaechi ported to APC (Buhari) to survive.

All politicians look for ways to survive and be relevant. Even Fubara has learnt that, it is not about gragra. There is a reason Fubara ported to APC, he's learning to fight wisely and survive. Wike knows how to survive too.

If Wike loses out with APC and/or Tinubu, he would need to join ADC but he knows Atiku and his people cannot be trusted because he was betrayed during PDP primaries. I think his best bet is to work with Tinubu, which means he will need to accept any condition and peace broken between him and Fubara.

While ADC will gladly accept Fubara should he port to their party, ADC will see him as a cash cow to finance the party. However, he might get impeached by his legislative (Wike has that locked down). His best bet is to pitch tent with APC and Tinubu.
PoliticsRe: House Of Reps Member, Omoruyi Dumps Labour Party, Defects To ADC by Ilaje1:
NaijaRoyalty:
Peter Obi cult-like followership is strong . It's a. National movement and cut across all gender, tribe and age.

Tinubu cannot get such strong followership without dashing Lagos money . Tinubu pay people to be his friends and loyal to him.
It is good to say the truth than being biased with one party over the other. Firstly, many politicians ported to APC from other parties, even from same LP when Obi was still a member. Can we conclude that Tinubu has more followership than Obi, using your logic? Secondly, ADC was already stacked with people the moment Atiku and others created oe moved there. 3rdly, every politician including Obi is just looking for ways to win. If dem born Obi well and he's sure of his followership, why not join another party that has no Atiku, Amaechi, El-Rufai and other APC/PDP disgruntled elements? Obi only have the 95% of 500k of ibo tribal votes. This is not the Era when religious sentiment was used.
PoliticsRe: 2027: I Never Said No One Should Back Peter Obi – Dele Momodu by Ilaje1: 10:11am On Jan 05
Obi cannot win any primary of a party except given to him on a platter of gold. Let him win the ADC ticket first.

PoliticsRe: 2027: 70% Rivers Support For Tinubu Already Secured — Fubara by Ilaje1: 9:14pm On Dec 18, 2025
mactoni91:
Lol.

What Amaechi attempted is exactly what Fubara seems to be trying now.

If anyone thinks the PDP will ever allow the APC to capture Rivers State, then they clearly don’t understand Rivers State politics.

Fubara moving to the APC would be seen as selling the state to Tinubu. The people of Rivers already resent Tinubu because of the way power is tightly controlled in Lagos.

Rivers State is PDP
The same PDP that is dead? And APC made Amaechi a minister for 8 years. If he wasn't over zealous and if he knew how to survive like Wike, he would have stepped down for Tinubu and worked for him. But instead he worked foe Atiku while in APC. And he lost out, while Wike did the opposite.
PoliticsRe: 2027: 70% Rivers Support For Tinubu Already Secured — Fubara by Ilaje1: 9:07pm On Dec 18, 2025
Freshtruth:
woke will make sure tinubunloose rivers just to prove a point to tunubu that he is the leader of rivers
Wike is wiser than you lots. He knows he needs APC and Tinubu to survive and APC needs him too. You think ADC will accommodate him? PDP is dead.
PoliticsRe: 2027: 70% Rivers Support For Tinubu Already Secured — Fubara by Ilaje1: 9:04pm On Dec 18, 2025
hotseat:
Fubara, could you please stop stabbing the hearts of some people?

You know those that I'm referring to.

That you decamped at all is enough pain to them and now rubbing salt on their injuries.

You know that they often cry more than the bereaved.

Na wetin sef ?

Kikikiki-kakakaka!!! kiokiokio-kwakwakwa!!!

@hotseat
Stabbing who? What did you do when he was suspended? Fubara has learnt that politics in not on the internet. He's learning to survive.
PoliticsRe: 2027: 70% Rivers Support For Tinubu Already Secured — Fubara by Ilaje1: 9:03pm On Dec 18, 2025
Angelfrost:
Sigh... Governors shouldn't be making such statements publicly.

They really make no sense at all... Especially in a democracy.

That's like insulting the collective intelligence of the citizens of the state.

...Literally saying he will rig for Tinubu, and there's nothing anyone in the state can do about it.
What's wrong in saying he will mobilize for Tinubu? Rig is your interpretation.
PoliticsRe: 2027: 70% Rivers Support For Tinubu Already Secured — Fubara by Ilaje1: 9:01pm On Dec 18, 2025
AMINDA:
This one thinks he's suddenly a political collusus. Someone who was suspended and came back conquered with his tail between his legs, unlike Senator Natasha. Tinubu only seeks to profit from that sense of sympathy he previously enjoyed after seeing how the people of Rivers boycotted the Wike-organised local government elections. He will not trust a man who has already denied ever being in the PDP a few days after cross-carpeting and who has openly gone against his political benefactor. Now, he and Wike are on a battle of who can be more sycophantic than the other. How arth the "mighty" fallen.
Who is Natasha? Fubara is not a mumu like you, if anything, he knows the suspension prevented his impeachment. And now, he's learning how to survive politically. This is why Wike is better Amaechi, Wike knows how to survive.
PoliticsRe: I Don’t Know Him From Anywhere - Why Buhari Didn't Back Osinbajo For President by Ilaje1: 9:19am On Dec 17, 2025
Putindbutt:
Osinbajo messed up big time, how could he?. He overestimated himself and see at the end of the day, even Ameachi floored him to second place. Those he was banking on let him down.
It's just like PitaObi saying he wants to contest against Abacha... we all know Obi is Abacha's boy and Abacha made him who he is. So, Obi contesting against his benefactor would have been a very big insult to Abacha. Hopefully, Osinbajo has learnt from the experience to become better.
Common sense should tell you Osinbajo and Tinubu have the same base. Either divide the votes or one man takes it all. Unlike Amaechi who had no one to contest his base with him.
PoliticsRe: I Don’t Know Him From Anywhere - Why Buhari Didn't Back Osinbajo For President by Ilaje1: 9:17am On Dec 17, 2025
AMINDA:
Stale. Buhari would never say that about Osinbajo. It is now known that this book, written by a Buhari critic, is a hatchet job to malign Buhari in death and promote some people. Little wonder Tinubu attended its lunch but failed to attend that of Garba Shehu. The piece by piece media attention the book is getting is also not a coincidence. It's being engineered by someone but it's dead on arrival.
Please tell us how this malign Buhari?
PoliticsRe: You Are A Stupid Boy — Otedola Recounts His Encounter With Obasanjo In New Book by Ilaje1: 1:50pm On Aug 08, 2025

No problem.

Nigerians said they would prefer GEJ if he contest. PDP worst rule is far better than APC govt, both buhari and tinubu combined together
Nonsense. That's what you said that brought Buhari back. If y'all don't see the trend now, then y'all are slow. Past govt always look better than the present one

PropertiesRe: Ground Rent: Tinubu issues 14-day ultimatum for defaulters to pay debt by Ilaje1: 2:29am On May 27, 2025
Creamypie:
How I miss obasanjo government. That was how buhari truncated democracy in 1983, December 31. We suffer an till 1999 after ibb, abacha come in between. Obasanjo give us hope and prosperity. Yar adua and Good luck came, we no appreciate them, only for us to go back to APC wey take is back to life on the 1980s
Which OBJ gave hope? The same OBJ that people said Abacha was even better, that they wished Abacha didn't die. What brought Buhari? Because his first time as head of state was said to be better. Funny thing, in 80s, we were told 70s was better. In 90s, we felt 80s was way better, 90s felt better than 2000s. Do you see the trend?

Yar'dua really messed up when he reversed the selling of the refineries sold by OBJ govt. Anyone with foresight will see that those refineries are conduit pipes, sometimes cut your loss and move. Now, Jonathan, Buhari and Tinubu govts have spent billions of dollars on it, yet not working. Thank God Dangote and Otedola and others didn't take Yardua to court when he cancelled the sales, now Dangote has built his and other are building theirs.

Was it not PDP uselessness that brought in APC? The earlier you know that people are nostalgic the better. The past always seem better in Nigeria with respect to the masses.

PoliticsRe: 3 PDP Governors Plan Defection To APC, Back Tinubu's Re-election Bid - ThisDay by Ilaje1: 1:45am On Apr 21, 2025
AMINDA:
Not entirely correct. If all 3 are on the ballot, Atiku will win with overwhelming Northern support. The North gave Tinubu 5.6m votes in 2023. The dynamics of 2023 are not the same now. Obi will only share the Southern votes with Tinubu and might actually still get the upperhand irrespective of some governors decamping to the APC. Obi contesting will also kill any agenda of "It's the turn of the South" that Tinubu may be looking to use in galvanising his base. Tinubu may be influencing the elites but the people on the ground are not with him.
Most of you are lazy, what is Northern support? Are you talking of just NW or NW and NE or NW, NE and NC? By Northern support, are you talking about Hausa/Fulani? Do you know Hausa/Fulani are minority in NC central (if at all they are there)? Yoruba has the highest or 2nd highest population in NC. Moreover people of NC are tired of Fulani attack and how they use the Northern parlance during election but corner every largese from politics to just Fulani. Also the VP will get some votes from NE, he's Kanuri.

In other words, 2027 is not straight forward for anyone. They have to work hard to win.
