You guys should stop this misinformation. Mimiko won because he was popular in the state, not because LP was organized. Mimiko took his party machinery from AD to PDP to LP then back to PDP. Reason LP died in Ondo state when he left with machinery. The emergency people that joined him in LP are back at either PDP or APC. His time as a gov was really bad, alas people saw that he's not the messiah they have been waiting for. So they left him, reason he's politically useless now. Now he has moved to or he founded Zenith Labour Party (ZLP).

This election has shown how tribalistic the Igbos then ss to some extent are. Look at the result. In most regions, votes will be distributed, like I said before the Igbos are voting based on ethnicity.

You asked if SW has ever voted for other people. Do you see how daft you are with your question? SW votes are not monolithic, they are very diverse which shows the SW are independent and not zombies. OBJ lost in SW in 1999, but still got sizeable votes. He won in 2003...but those that lost still got sizeable votes. Yardua won, Jonathan in his first term but lost to APC on his second term. At that Jonathan still got 49% to APC 51% (taking other parties to be irrelevant). Buhari won his second term in SW, Atiku still got over 40%.

From the points above it shows that SW votes for other people. Secondly winners always win by slight margin unlike SE that votes enmass for a party based on hatred. Thirdly, it shows SW is dynamic, sophisticated, independent, open minded and votes for whoever they want as their votes are not monolithic. I can assure you that PDP will still get at least 40% in SW.
