GoodGovernance:Judging by your standard or who came first = the best, we can all agree that the greatest football player will revolve around Pele, Maradona, Zidane, and a few older players, but Messi and Ronaldo won't be there because of their recency compared to Pele and co. The same you that is judging with this "old or who came first is better," logic will choose a newcomer (young OGs) like Ronaldo or Messi over old OGs like Pele and Maradona. Sometimes, the year you got married doesn't matter, but the fruit of the marriage. Ahmed Musa has done more for Nigeria on and off the pitch than some older players. So, it's not by who came first, but whose impact is showing. A young and newcomer in a company can rise in rank with zero degree and zero experience while the one with a degree is still struggling in that same company. The difference is passion, purpose and focus. I can confidently tell you VDM's impact is showing more than everyone on the list, but they've all tried their best, so I won't discredit anyone. In stubbornness, Sowore is the winner, but in impact, VDM wins. |
I have written some unpublished articles in my "wake me when Sept. ends vacation," but each time I want to post it, I just lose interest. Lemme blame it on laziness. I wasn't even keeping up with this thread. Whatever has happened since I left, I have no idea. But it seems I'll be active in Oct. Though, I have been keeping up with Ben and Steve and they've been doing a great job. Never missed any of their videos. The greatest investment is your health. IamCookie:I wanted to add him when I was compiling the list, but since VDM is there and they're friends and at the same time his lawyer, I decided not to. Two of them are similar in stubbornness, but VDM is more vulgar, circular and blunt. |

CodeTemplarr:I always wonder. I think the Devil has a hand in it. This pushes the politicians' soft spots against their wish to support LGBTQ and the moment America takes it upon herself, it becomes a global pandemic. |

flyinnizam:The way I hate those animal right activists eh, especially those that won't be bothered when a lion or a python kills a human, but when humans retaliate and kill that animal back, they begin to cry and call them unprintable names. If I catch such people in a secret place and I'm with a gun and I won't be caught, they'll be dead. I just HATE them and I don't even care if they're my family members. |

BayLord01:There is a deep psychological aspect to how Nigerians perceive locally made products. If something is affordable and accessible to the average Nigerian, we often undervalue it, considering it inferior or of lesser quality. Ironically, the only Nigerian-made products that command respect and desire are often those priced higher than their imported counterparts—take high-tension cables for example. I know of a woman who sells both foreign and Nigerian rice, with the Nigerian variety being more expensive, despite the foreign rice often appearing cleaner and more visually appealing. Her marketing strategy is brilliant: she emphasizes that the Nigerian rice is organic, non-parboiled, and yields more when cooked—1 cup of Naija rice rises to the equivalent of 2 parboiled foreign rice. She compares the taste favorably, highlighting that it lacks the blandness of foreign rice and is free of impurities like sand. Meaning: Naija rice tastes way better. What I'm suggesting is this: for Nigerians to truly value locally made products, they must be priced higher than their foreign equivalents. Anything cheaper risks being labeled as "inferior" and will struggle to gain market traction. The mindset that African or Chinese products are inherently substandard has been carefully orchestrated by Western powers, despite the fact that many European and American products are manufactured in China, with up to 80% of raw materials sourced from Africa and Asia. To change this perception, Nigerian-made products should only see price reductions after 2 decades or more of being positioned as premium. By then, popular celebrities home and abroad would have endorsed them, further enhancing their status. The psychology behind this is clear: people, especially those with less money, aspire to own what the wealthy possess. This same tactic has been masterfully employed by brands like Apple, which has reaped billions of poor people their money by appealing to their desire to appear affluent. This strategy isn't just about marketing—it’s about protecting Nigerian products from the same stigma that plagued Chinese goods for decades. Even now, many still regard Chinese cars as inferior or fragile. We must avoid such negative associations with our local products. Take Dangote's fuel, for instance. If it's priced lower than imported alternatives, people will assume it's of lower quality just as someone from NNPCL has already alleged. You see the game? Instead, it should be priced on par with or higher than foreign fuel. Poor Nigerians detest being perceived as poor (ego battle), and higher prices can actually drive demand while fostering a sense of pride in Nigerian-made goods. For the first two decades, no newly manufactured Nigerian products should be cheap. Pricing it higher prevents the inferiority complex syndrome imposed by Western influence and builds respect for locally produced items. The more expensive a product, the more Nigerians will covet and desire it. Any poor Nigerian who says Innoson's cars are expensive and force the company to reduce it will buy Rolls Royce when he becomes rich and ignores Innoson because he'll see it as too cheap = inferior. This was the same man, when he was poor, that was screaming "it's too expensive." Those who disagree with this simply fail to grasp the underlying psychological warfare we are up against. |

5 Nigerians I love to listen to and resonate with 90% of what they say or stand for 1. Dr. Charles Akpoki 2. Dr. Abel Damina 3. Myself - I don't joke with my thoughts (I could spend 3 hours just solving Nigeria's problems in my head and talking notes) 4. Vincent Martins Otse (VDM) 5. Ihiedi — Light of Africa Bonus: Seun Kuti and Isaac Fayosé. What do they have in common? They stand for truth, honesty, exposing manipulations, building a solid foundation, being self-sufficient, productive and restoring Africa, especially Nigeria. Who are the 5 Nigerians you love listening to and what do they have in common? |
WhiteIverson:It's actually my dream, but people in my village will be disappointed while the other village people won't let me rest in the higher realm of life. |
Yes, but it's better to evolve in lines with nature, else it's destruction of yourself or of your people to your advantage. Whatever you do that 90% benefits the people, it's greatness. If 90% benefits you, it's business. In this life, everyone seems to be more focused on business, not greatness. |
Nicoddemus:Nature is not primitive and never will be. When oyibo wants to promote something new, they first of all demonise the existing one with a brand-new big English word like primitive, naive, old-fashioned, archaic, etc., as long as it's not by their kind. Back in the olden days, male animals put in a cage with other males do try to knack their fellows and oyibo called it primitive when they saw it in Africa. Then, our forefathers used to play with wild animals as pet and probably kissed them, but what would oyibo say seeing that? Primitive. Some African women used to walk around braless with their standing breasts. What did oyibo call it? Primitive. Cover yourself up! Our people used to draw things that looked like tattoos and what did they call it? They even gave us a religion that called lots of things evil, including same sex anything. Now, they went back to do those same things Africans used to do or those things they told us were evil. The moment oyibo men in politics (aka business of democracy) have a business idea to enrich themselves and make the people poorer, that thing his people used to frown at becomes a good thing and anyone who thinks otherwise is primitive. LQBTQ they preached against is now a good thing and whoever disagrees is old-fashioned. Now, they're kissing dogs and cats and even eating from the same plate and sleeping on the same bed. They even knack the animals secretly. Isn't that primitive anymore? Now, any opportunity their women get, they want to remove their clothes and walk around nàked. Isn't it primitive too? My friend in Spain chatted me up last week that he was bored, so he went to the beach. Unknown to him, he went to a particular section and everybody was náked, swimming, taking pictures, etc. I asked, "Your d*ck no stand?" And the said their yansh and breast too flat to trigger such. I said, "I hope their children didn't do it with them." And he said even the children are all náked and it's just a normal thing. Isn't that primitive anymore? They'll find an excuse to justify a family being nakéd at the beach and call it advancement. Anything that preserves you and keeps you out of begging, out of crime, out of the hospital, abundance of natural food, is not primitive. It's only primitive when it's done in Africa — that's what they're trying to project. The ones that make you beg, make you feel insecure, make you visit the hospital, consume chemical food or lack food to eat are primitive coated as civilization. Most don't know it. They took away our advancement to nature by calling it primitive because it's not technology. They're doing those primitive things now, but they tagged it "adventure." You see how smart they are? I'm not against them, they're just smart at manipulation and we just know the game and stop it or play it wisely. |
Currently watching the video and her joy gave me goosebumps. The even caught an electric fish. |
I just watched the video of the picture above, and her joy gave me goosebumps. Seeing the title and the cover, I thought to myself, "These are the richest people in the world."... |

DONFASZY:She's 21 now. The man started eating from 19. Where is the jail? But viewing it from incest perspective, I still don't like the story or joke. |
Wise is pissing me off. I just needed small cash to settle small billing, but all the P2P merchants I wanted to trade with, requested I cancel. On Bybit, I have cancelled up to three trades. Other exchanges, one or two. Nobody is willing to wait for 24 hours. I even told them they don't need to release the coin to me until Saturday when they receive their money, but all refused. Na all these things make me like crypto — colourless, odourless, trustless and instant, depending on the network you use.

Which pattern of viewing the cycle do you follow? Some people put bear as their first year in the cycle and their market top as the last year of the cycle, which is option B in the picture below. For me, I follow option A in the picture because it has some psychological advantages. Which do you follow? Like if you follow option A or share if you follow option B. I know option B makes logical sense, but option A makes psychological sense; most don't know. Is that stage 2 of 5 green happening today? If it must be stage 2, at least, let it hit 55-56k. It only got to 57.9k.
