Of course the Nigerian government don't really give a fork if they lose other territories as they did bakkassi, so long Igbos remain part of Nigeria, they have achieved all they set out to achieve |

Let them give us all Igbo speaking territories, that's enough for us.
The rest can either go to hell or join us.
But wait, this people can't be trusted, we all know they could have been bought by the government to issue this communique without consulting with their people, the public.
I challenge the government to put Biafra to vote in SE and SS, so we can end it once and for all. |

Politics › Another War In Nigeria Will Automatically Split Nigeria & mess up West Africa by illiad(op): 9:49am On Nov 17, 2015 |
It's common sense.
And if things are not well managed by the government then war is imminent.
And for those who always want to use 1967 as a yardstick, I am sorry to say that the results this other time would be worst than Somalia, and I can assure you all that northern Nigeria would be worst of, while other parts of the country would be at best like Libya and at worst Somalia.
And as to its impact on West Africa, a total breakdown of economics and sociopolitical life.
... Don't ask me what's the solution to avoid Nigeria getting to that crossroad, because every enlightened Nigerian know the exact solution to the question of Nigeria. |
Politics › Re: PHOTOS: Biafra Leaders Meet British Prime Minister David Cameron by illiad: 8:34pm On Nov 16, 2015 |
laudate: Leave am. Like I said once on another thread: "A little learning is a dangerous thing," in the words of Alexander Pope. This Illiad guy has a little learning, and is unwilling to move from his position.
Even under international law, it is not just one government that fights against another government, but countries that engage in war. And a country is made up of both the state machinery and its citizens.
In armed conflict, it is the combatants on either side of the divide, that prosecute the war. However, if a civilian citizen carries arms during an armed conflict or engages in acts of aggression, he is no longer regarded as a defenceless civilian, but a belligerent or a combatant, and he will be treated as such. Indulge yourself. |
Politics › Re: PHOTOS: Biafra Leaders Meet British Prime Minister David Cameron by illiad: 7:45pm On Nov 16, 2015 |
armadeo: Pray tell me who these governments represent. If America attacks Russia for example who would die the Russian gov't or Russians in gov't.
Gut you are very wrong. A gov't is made up of citizens of the country. If you want to look at it literally it would be Americans vs Russians not American gov't vs Russian gov't because those people are represented by thier citizens in gov't.
On this issue I disagree with you. Case closed! |

Politics › Re: PHOTOS: Biafra Leaders Meet British Prime Minister David Cameron by illiad: 6:01pm On Nov 16, 2015 |
armadeo: I only agree with deductive reasoning. That statement iquoted up there is absolute nonsense. In civilised climes you cannot jump up and say you are dealing with biafra and not biafrans for example.
I would sincerely like you opinion on that issue. I may agree with you but its highly unlikely. Alright, this is all there is to it. In international politics, governments deal with governments, and never with its citizens. Whatever citizens suffered as a result of sanctions was never meant for the citizens but rather as a collateral damage or variable effects of such sanctions. Even in war, governments direct their war expedition towards the government of that country and it's forces but never the citizens. Which is why even in war the winning government might still be assuaging the suffering of the loosing side by providing for the citizens of same country they're fighting. |

armadeo: Interesting argument here. Iliad and bonechamberlian. You got served.
Laudate give up. Somethings can never change.
The most interesting and ignorant statement I have read all year is
the u.s.a has no business with IRANIANS but with IRAN, go and study the difference, just as the British has no business with BRIAFRANS BUT WITH BIAFRA
In what universes does this make sense? Had you both asked nicely, I'd have spoonfed you as part of my contribution to ridden the society of illiteracy. |
