Wow! Only clueless folks like you, can support uninformed people like your friend. Anyway, birds of the same ignorant feather, flock together. Why am I not suprised?? Lol Funny thing was, you came on like you know a thing or two about international politics and buoyed by by the few oafs that liked your verbose, you thought you had hit a point. But then, suddenly, a dude with a pedigree in international relations and politics came on board , and seeing how miserably miserably you have misled the oafs behind the likes on your vituperations against innocent and hard working Biafran agitators in diaspora ; and out of the magnanimity of his noble and kind soul, that dude decided to educate you and your fellow blind blind followers for nothing in reward but simple appreciation . But the ingrate in you would rather engage your teacher in a blind argument, choosing rather to display your ignorance in public glare than be thankful to a generous Samaritan, who has taken up the pastoral task of educating foools on a national scale. Well, thank your star, the dude has in his pious heart begged me not to collect school fees from you, if not you would have been paying me your first semester fees for IGNORANCE 101 |

And when sanctions are targeted at a govt of a country, who bears the brunt?? Isn't it the citizens or people living inside that country? Can a govt bear the impact of sanctions, and its people would not feel the effect?? Is govt affairs run in isolation??

bonechamberlain: funny u are saying politics 101, for ur information we talking about international politics not Nigeria village and parochial politics. if u did study the difference between Iran and Iranians in international politics u won't reply with this.
for ur information sanctions are not targeted at the people of a country but at the govt, Nigerians engage in terrorism what policy has the u.s made concerning Nigeria. in international politics what matters is the representative of the people, the govt and its policies and not the people.pls would like to stop here. It's called free education, all the lectures you been given that fellow. Should I collect school fees from him/her. Just say yes and watch me make him/her pay |

laudate: Guy, are you for real?? The US has no business with Iranians, but it has business with Iran??! What kind of logic is that? What constitutes a country if I may ask? Isn't it the citizens of a country that make up the country, or do you think it is just the presence of uninhabited land that makes up a country?
Aren't you aware that those who govern a country, are drawn from among the populace or citizens of that country?? Or do they come from outer space?? And that any policy executed by the govt of a country, in relation to another nation has a bearing, an influence or an impact on that nation?? That is elementary politics 101.
When sanctions are applied against a country, who bears the brunt?? Isn't the citizens of that country??
So how can you come here and be splitting hairs about US and Iran and claiming that US policies have nothing to do with Iranians?? Are you aware that the activities of the citizens of Iran could inform the policies that are drawn up by the US, against Iran?? If let us say for example, Iranians engage in terrorist activities, would it not affect any policies that the US would make concerning Iran??
The same thing would apply in the case of Biafra, Biafrans and the British! Wake up and get real!! Am sure you thought you were making sense until that dude came on and x-rayed your emptiness I simply cannot fathom fathom why you all get miserable at the mention of Biafra Smh |

Akenzua that was rolling all over the floor for Yoruba Obas in AG is now the hero of Midwest creation? In which universe did that happen? How can Oba Akenzua who the Yoruba controlled AG had in their pocket lead the creation of Midwest, when the Yoruba controlled AG fought tooth and nail to retain the mid west under the western region

Chidozieude: Pazienza, Eurobomber, Obiaju1 and the other Igbos on this thread should be ashamed of yourselves
The Niger Delta have a right to congregate on Nairaland and discuss their own interests.
You have invaded this thread out of envy and your anger that they have decided not to heed the Biafra call. This is very shameful.
I dont see Niger Deltans invading the various Igbo and Biafra threads on NL. Why cant you all respect them and let them be
This is extreme bullying and it is so sad and unacceptable
This is cowardice!! You dare NOT TRY THIS RUBBISH ON A YORUBA THREAD BECAUSE YOU KNOW THE CONSEQUENCES

calebo101: I'm urhobo and I align full time with the Biafran cause. There's nothing like Niger Delta. It's so mixed a region that it's best to pit our collective efforts under one umbrella. Though some may not agree with me but like I maintain even if the Biafrans are interested in our resources it's better having them plundering us than having the Yorubas and Hausa combining to fleece us.
Tonyebacarnista, Truckpusher, and other Niger Deltans, I beg to disagree with your stance on this issue. It's a shame we cannot come together under an umbrella to fight a common cause. What are we to benefit from negotiations with the federal government? Isn't it clear we're just the golden hen that lays the eggs and there is no way we can have full resource control in a united Nigeria? Pipelines are drawn from our villages to Lagos and Kaduna and the biggest refineries are built there. Dangote is building a refinery in Lekki. Who do they employ? The Yorubas and the hausa while our youths are contents with peanuts. And now there's a growing movement which we can align to and break free from these shackles and you say we're Niger Deltans??
We should not make the mistakes our parents made. They were deceived due to lack of exposure and ignorance, and that's the price we pay. Niger Deltans are not politically matured to fight a cause. Too many useless self serving leaders we have. And it's established we are minority. A better strategy is to align with a bigger movement which is Biafra. The worse case scenario is having a country and be controlled by the Igbos which I so so highly doubt or continue being the slaves we are in Nigeria.
The Yorubas and hausas already have a bond. It's time for Niger Delta to align with the Igbos and present a united front. At worse we get a review of the Nigerian structure. No offences made and non taken. I just made my point. Fact, you have said it all. I always know there are still people with reason. |

Create an Ijaw/Edoid thread and if you see me peep into it, know that I'm nuts.
Arrogant thieves! Fact Even the yorubas created a Yoruba thread and Igbos avoided it like Egyptian plague even though we could have invaded it like the miserable yorubas on nairaland always do on Igbo threads but we did not go to their thread because we don't give a fork. Let these edo and Ijaw things go and create edo/Ijaw whatever and am certain no Igbo will give a fork. |

pazienza: You don't kill a corpse you will also contribute for its burial, it's counterproductive.
Are you now saying we have Igbos in SE only? If you rush to help scrap the 13% derivation, you affect the Igbo speaking communities in Rivers and Delta that have been benefiting from it.
You wouldn't be helping Asaba as a capital city with Ifeanyi Okowa as a governor and PH as a city with Wike as a governor, if you start campaigning for a cause that will result in decreased fund for them to develop those two cities Ndiigbo have big presence in.
The only way SE will be seen campaigning against 13% dederivation is if we have finally accepted the falsehood that Igboland started and ended in SE. SE Ndiigbo wouldn't be endearing ourselves before our Delta and Rivers Igbos who are well represented in Ohanaeze, if we are seen championing for a cause that will rob them of the proceeds from their crude oil in this harsh economic climate. We will only end up alienating them further, and this will not be helpful in our long term vision of uniting all Igbo speaking people under one region. Of course you're right. And the Igbo will never resort to such. Irrespective of the few foools on nairaland claiming to be this or that when they're actually mere cockroaches, SS and SE will continue working together for a better and prosperous life. |

rhymaster: I
Funny how you and Ibos like shifting the goal post! I just destroyed the argument of what happened in Odi and this is your retort? No, this is totally out of scope of the argument but if you insist, then fine Ibos might have scored killings of federal troops but that pales in comparison to more than 3 M Ibos wiped out during the war! Now you think that is an unfair comparison but this point will stand since you totally goal post and this point does the same. Not only were 3M Ibos suyanized as you said but not many sides in a war have lost so many people in a mere 2 years 6 months and 9 days, meaning Ibos are totally war incompetent! If the desertification of the North excited you, well there are several NGOs working to remediate that and slow down desertification but in your hurry to gloat, you did not realize that Dubai is / once a huge desert but today, your Ibos are dying just to reach that desert, so will be the North of Nigeria as soon as Nigeria and northern governors get their act right. However, fully erosion is far worse and a bigger menace where the land just disappears from under you, how will Ibos fight that? You are gloating over others but do not realize your worse situation! How many NGOs are fighting against gully erosion compared with desertification? How will the useless red earth become agriculturally viable like the lands in the North? You should realize Ibos need Nigeria more than Nigeria needs Ibos and that the way you people are going, you've signed yourselves to perpetual 5th class citizens and perpetual slavery! Lol Thought this oaf wanna come up with a logic, but then foools don't reason, they rile over their own Misery. |
