Palehair:Fair enough, I get where you're coming from. But you know how it goes: once “woke” gets thrown around enough times, it starts feeling like white noise. I rate movies on whether they're actually good, not whether they fit into someone's Twitter checklist. I don’t always agree with Critical Drinker or whoever, but if the point makes sense, cool. If it’s just “movie bad = must be woke,” that’s where I tap out. |
Palehair:That’s the wild part—I literally said Superman is a really good movie. Some of y’all get so locked into this “woke/not woke” loop you don’t even clock when someone’s giving the movie props. It’s like if it doesn’t match the outrage script in your head, you just fill in the blanks yourself. I’m not the one calling everything woke—you’re the one seeing ghosts where there aren’t any. |
oyaskii:The white House post isn’t just cringe, it’s social self-harm. Begging to feel among when nobody’s even checking for you. Embarrassing government post Fr. |
Palehair:Probably just ragebaiting. In his Superman video, Nerdrotic said it isn't woke—just an awful movie. Honestly, anyone who watched it and still shouts "WOKE" either has the critical thinking skills of a wet sock or is flat-out brain-dead. Plus when did you add me to the list of people who shout woke for every movie |
Audience score 😭 Snyder fans have not put their review without watching the movie yet
|
pu7pl3:I didn't, there's still a likely chance it won't get to 800mn - but I really hope it does really well. The movie is actually damn good! |
abduleez1:Some Snyder fan critics in the UK are giving it a rotten already - despite that it's still at 91%. Now at 86😭😭 Snyder fans are so asinine
|
abduleez1:The movie has so many things that can be spoiled bro. I'm dying to say everything here but noooooooo. You guys are in for a treat. I'll be rewatching tomorrow😭❤️ |
pu7pl3:Everything is clickbaity and rage baiting. They know that's what people want to hear. The review of Superman are almost all positive |
TemporaryHansel:Exactly. Perception is very important |
Baddestguyp:Every movie has a message but it should never affected the main purpose of movies to entertain |
pu7pl3:It's truly a great movie. All I'm talking about is perception. Some people will not see it because they'll find it woke already🤷🏾♂️ and that's not good for business |
Chibudollar:Not likely but it certainly would affect the morale of the movie. I'm not very sure of a billion anymore. preaching instead of entertaining (which in my opinion it didn't) is Hollywood right now and people don't want that anymore |
Illusioneffect:Oh sorry I take this back!
|
Chibudollar:It'll do well, I've no doubt about it at this point. Those bad reviews are fake imo. Comic book fans will eat this movie up |
abduleez1:I feel you. He does sound like he's reading bedtime stories to himself sometimes. Buttt… he’s lowkey built his whole brand off that calm, stoic delivery. It's not range — it's vibe and it Works. Wick? Perfect. Shakespeare? God, no. 😂 Also, My Own Private Idaho — young Keanu actually had chops there. You should peep it. So yeah, you're not wrong. He isn't the GOAT actor. But he’s Keanu. And somehow… that’s enough. |

Superman (2025) – No-Spoiler Review 🎬🦸♂️💫 David Corenswet brings Superman to life like never before — strong, soft, hopeful. Rachel Brosnahan? The most Lois Lane Lois Lane we’ve had. Their chemistry? 100% newsroom-flirting-meets-save-the-world energy. But let’s talk cinematography — gorgeous. This ain’t gray and gritty Metropolis. It’s vibrant, wide-sky America with sunlight that means something. Every frame feels like it believes in Superman as much as he believes in us. James Gunn cooked definitely his best film ever and that's saying something. You can tell this wasn’t just a paycheck — it’s personal. He strips Superman down to what matters: hope, decency, and the courage to stay kind in a cruel world. Somehow, he made it feel classic and brand new. Score: 9.5/10 This isn’t just a superhero movie It's also a political thriller and a non stop thrill ride. It'll definitely make a lot of money

joseph1832:The budget is 250m |
BlackManta:I will 😊 By the way, Just watched Jurassic world abi park - an average movie but still fun to watch. The most important thing was the Odyssey teaser at the end!!! Nothing much just Tom Holland talking about his father to the Punisher and waves of water. Very careful teaser giving the fact they just started shooting |
I'm watching Superman tomorrow!!!😭😭😭😭 |
abduleez1:It probably will be Greek mythology is brutal: blood, guts, gods misbehaving, monsters, seduction, existential dread. |
Zidoh:Oyaskii should send a gif that illustrates what we think of this post |
abduleez1:I've watched 59/100. 30% of the ones I've watched shouldn't be on the list |
abduleez1:The list is truly ass. I watched Mulholland Drive and it's probably one of the strangest and the weirdest movie I've watched this year - I had to watch YouTube movie to understand the movie. Not even in my top 500. But parasite is no 1 and I can understand that |
My last three movie going experiences have been great F1 is an 11/10 best movie I've watched since Dune part two. Sounds editing and great storytelling at its finest. Damson Idris is so finneee and I'm not even gay

The Odyssey poster🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

oyaskii:Marriage sorry Ke? |
BlackManta:most women are actresses because MEN find them attractive bro. Get that in your head, she's just taking the advantage even further |
oyaskii:Hey, fair points—but let’s slow the roll a bit 😅. My optimism isn't blind fanaticism, it's based on patterns and actual industry trends. Sure, I don’t have the screenwriter on speed dial (would be nice though lol), but I do follow how reboots are usually handled—especially ones that are this high-profile. This isn't a "loosely based" adaptation or a soft reboot—it's a book-faithful series. That's the core selling point HBO and Warner Bros have been hammering from the start. They know the fanbase would riot if core character traits of Harry, Hermione, or Ron were fundamentally changed. Of course changes can happen—and yeah, they have in past adaptations. But the idea that they’d completely reinvent the main trio just for shock value goes against everything they've said. If we were dealing with a Netflix young adult reimagining, sure, I'd be worried too. But this is HBO. Prestige TV. They thrive on deep, layered adaptations that stay true to source while expanding the world tastefully. Also, one writer not reading the books? That’s annoying, but that’s one person on a massive team. The showrunner and executive producers have the final say—and if they’re backing fidelity to the source, then that matters more than a staff writer. Bottom line: I’m not saying everyone has to be optimistic, but it’s wild to call it “dumb” to expect professionalism from a studio that’s known for setting high bars. Being hopeful about a beloved series getting proper treatment isn’t blind—it’s just not jaded. |
phr0nesis:they do because it is 'necessary' to them but it never affects the actual canon of the show. Harry being gay definitely does |
A glamorized cornstar masquerading as an actress.
