Before now on the official website, Meghan was dubbed a ‘proud feminist’ because of her famous quote from a United Nations conference in New York in 2015 when she said: “I am proud to be a woman and a feminist”.

The website equally made reference to her “keen awareness of social issues” and how she has “actively participated in charitable work” from a young age, and so on.

But now the official website entirely deleted all the above qualities. It only choose to leave behind her acting career especially her role in the legal series, Suits, where she played the role of Rachel Zane and the university she attended in Illinois.

The website also captured that Meghan Markle is no longer a working Royal.

“As announced in January, The Duke and Duchess have stepped back as senior members of The Royal Family.

“They are balancing their time between the United Kingdom and North America, continuing to honour their duty to The Queen, the Commonwealth, and their patronages. Frogmore Cottage in the UK remains their family home.”

As part of measures aimed at boosting its revenue base, the Delta State Government will introduce property taxes in urban areas of the state. This decision was reached at the 7th virtual EXCO meeting today — which was presided over by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.

In a post-EXCO briefing, the Commissioner for Information, Mr. Charles Aniagwu, said that the state government will first embark on an enumeration exercise.

According to the Commissioner, the revenue generated from property taxes will help the state government to execute projects that will positively impact on the lives of the citizens and residents of the Delta State.

Ekiti State’s former governor, Mr Peter Ayodele Fayose, has chronicled the presidency of General Muhammadu Buhari as “accidental, deaf and dumb”.

Mr Fayose stated this in reaction to a statement by Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to Buhari on Media and Publicity.

Adesina in his statement said “Buhari would have dealt with Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike and Fayose for their ‘anti-Buhari tendency’ but he chose to tolerate the duo as a father of the nation.”

However, Mr Fayose in a series of tweets on Sunday, July 5, said the President cannot even manage the affairs of his immediate family not to talk of his party and the nation.

“On the comment by my brother and friend, ‪@FemAdesina‬, on the President not dealing with myself and Governor Wike, President Buhari, in my opinion is an accidental President, who is not only clueless but unconscious of happenings in his own Presidency.

Social media users are reacting to American rapper and fashion entrepreneur, Kanye West declaring his intentions to run for the president of the United States in November 2020 election, after he tweeted vying for the office.

Kanye West on several occasions talk about his presidential ambitions, and after visiting Trump in 2018 wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat, revealed he will be contesting in 2024 after Trump’s tenure.

The American rapper however, tweeted “We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States! #2020VISION”

It is not yet clear if West is serious about vying for the presidency four months before the Nov. 3 election or if he had filed any official paperwork to appear on state election ballots.

His tweet has received a lot of reactions from twitter users including its CEO, who endorsed Kanye’s presidential ambitions. Kanye West is the number two trending topic on Twitter worldwide.

Some people commented that Kanye plans to take black votes from Biden, so that Trump and Biden will compete for white votes and Trump will win.

The world’s first gold plated hotel opens in Vietnam. The hotel was built with a 24-carat gold plating across lobbies, bathtubs, pool and rooms. Also, cutlery, cups, shower heads and toilet seats, are all gold platted.

The building cost is about $200 million and took 11 years to complete.

The name of the hotel is Dolce Hanoi Golden Lake hotel which sits by Giang Vo Lake in the centre of the Vietnamese capital. It has 400 rooms and will operate under the American Wyndham Hotels brand. Prices start at $250 a night for rooms, and also has apartments for rent.

Nguyen Huu Duong, chairman of Hoa Binh group that owns the gold plated hotel said;

“We want the ordinary people to the super rich… to check-in. Our group has a factory that can do gold-plated stuff, so the cost for our equipment and furniture here is quite cheap.”

On Coronavirus cramping global travel and tourism, the chairman expressed hope of making back the money used in constructing the hotel in 2021.

Report reaching is that there was fire outbreak at the Central Bank of Nigeria Gombe branch on Friday, July 3.

According to reports, the fire started at about 10am.

This adds to the series of fire outbreaks that have hit key government offices in the country in recent times.

Recall that on April 8, fire outbreak occurred at the Treasury House, in the Accountant-General of the Federation’s office.

One week after another fire occurred at the headquarters of the Corporate Affairs Commission, and then the Independent National Electoral Commission’s office in Abuja.

The Central Bank of Nigeria in Jos, Plateau State on April 22 also was razed down by fire.

The All Progressives Congress APC, candidate in the Edo State gubernatorial election, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, is said to be arraigned before the Federal High Court, Benin City, July 2, over an alleged N700 million fraud case.

Ize-Iyamu and four others are being arraigned in court by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on an eight-count charge of money laundering in the amount of N700 million reportedly deployed to prosecute the 2015 general elections. The other four accused persons are Lucky Imasuen, former deputy governor of Edo State, Chief Dan Orbih, PDP chairman in Edo State; Tony Aziegbemi, and Efe Erimuoghae.

The anti-graft agency in the suit marked FHC/BE21C/ 2016, alleged that Ize-Iyamu and the four other accused persons collected the public funds for the polls, contrary to the provisions of the EFCC Act and the Money Laundering (Prohibition) Act.

Ize-Iyamu and other defendants were first arraigned before Justice P. I. Ajoku on money laundering on May 24, 2018.

One of the counts read:

“That you Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, Lucky Imasuen, Tony Azigbemi, Chief Dan Orbih, Efe Erimuoghae Anthony and Chief Anthony Anenih (now at large) sometime March 2015 in Benin within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court did directly take possession and control of the sum of 700,000,000.00 (seven hundred million naira) only without any contract award which sum you reasonably ought to have known form part of proceeds of an unlawful act, to wit; fraud and corruption; and thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 15(2)(d) of the Money Laundering (Prohibition) Act 2011 (as amended by the Money Laundering (Prohibition) Amendment Act 2012 and punishable under Section 15(3)of the same Act.”

Social media giant, Twitter, has not relaxed in cracking down on Donald Trump ‘s Twitter Handle as it removed a photo meme earlier this morning tweeted by the US president on June 30, after the New York Times filed a copyright complaint over the use of the photo.

The black and white photo meme showed Donald Trump sitting down while pointing at the camera, but was edited into a meme with bold white text saying: “In reality, they’re not after me they’re after you. I’m just in the way.”

Twitter confirmed removing the meme saying; “This Tweet has been labeled per our synthetic and manipulated media policy to give people more context.” According to them, “it violated copyright policies after the New York Times filed a ‘take-down notice’ on Wednesday under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.”

In May began placing fact-check warnings on two tweets from Trump’s own account that called mail-in ballots ‘fraudulent’ and predicted problems with the November elections.

On May 28, Trump signed an executive order seeking to scrap legal protections for social media firms, which he has accused of political bias.

The order opens Twitter, Facebook and Google up to lawsuits by diluting the legal protection which stops them from being liable for posts on their platforms.

Director-General of the World Health Organisation, Adhanom Tedros, has warned nations of the world not to lower their standards in the fight against the Coronavirus pandemic, saying that the virus is not close to being over, SaharaReporters reported.

Adhanom Tedros, made the warning yesterday, June 29, as the virus reaches 10 million worldwide, with over 500,000 deaths. He also called for a renewed global commitment to saving lives as the virus continues to spread.

“Although many countries have made some progress, globally the pandemic is speeding up. We’re all in this together, and we’re all in this for the long haul.

They are;

4. They must also prioritize early identification and clinical care

The Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management has given slots to Nigerian lawmakers in the ongoing recruitment for N-Power.

N-Power is one of the schemes in the National Social Investments Programme introduced by the President Muhammadu Buhari administration to address the challenges of youth unemployment by providing a structure for large-scale and relevant skills acquisition and development while linking its core and outcomes to fixing inadequate public services and stimulating the larger economy.

The scheme has however, been embroiled in irregularities following the commencement of the second tenure of the President when the ministry was created to handle the programme.

The ministry had announced that its registration portal will reopen for registration out of which 400,000 beneficiaries will be taken from the application pool.

However, SaharaReporters gathered that the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs has allocated about 50,000 slots to federal lawmakers and other politicians across the country.

As the portal for the registration opened today, SaharaReporters gathered that the lawmakers printed registration forms of N-Power, which they shared among their cronies.

This would not only thwart the vision for the creation of the scheme but also deny ordinary Nigerians the opportunity to partake in the scheme.

Some of the lawmakers, who received slots under the corrupt scheme include President of the National Assembly, Ahmad Lawan; Senator Abdul Ningi; and Speaker of Bauchi State House of Assembly, Abubakar Y Suleiman.

Recall that the lawmakers had in April piled pressure on the minister, Sadiya Farouq, to give room for their intervention in the NSIP.

The lawmakers finally had their way to benefit from the conditional cash transfers in the country as well as other schemes under Farouq after a meeting with her.

The suspension of Hon Friday Osanebi, was made known in a press statement by the working committee of the PDP.

Osuoza, the State Publicity Secretary of the party, the suspension is gendered on reported acts and allegations leveled against the lawmaker, which he said threatens the peace and harmony of the party and is tantamount to causing discord and disaffection among loyal party members.

The Ekiti state government earlier today announced that it generated not less than N2 million from lockdown offenders over fines imposed on more than 100 Ekiti people.

The Ekiti state government speaking through the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Mojisola Yaya-kolade, made this known as she assured residents that the state’s molecular laboratory would become functional by Monday, June 1.

According to Dr. Mojisola Yaya-kolade, she said, “We are still perfecting some regulatory procedure with the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, but everything will be finetuned before Monday.

“We have had 20 Covid-19 cases so far, two are still active, we have recorded two deaths and 16 have been treated with investigational drugs and have been discharged“.

Two popular music stars, Rihanna and Beyonce have totally condemned the death of George Floyd, the unarmed African American man who was pinned down with a knee to his neck and later died by a white police officer in Minneapolis.

The two big shots made the condemnation on their respective Instagram pages and demanded that more charges should be pressed on all the police officers involved in the death of George Floyd after ex- Minneapolis officer, Derek Chauvin, who knelt on George Floyd’s neck till he died, was arrested and charged with 3rd degree murder on Friday.

Rihanna wrote on her page, “For the last few days, the magnitude of devastation, anger, sadness I’ve felt has been overwhelming to say the least! Watching my people get murdered and lynched day after day pushed me to a heavy place in my heart!”, she said.

She continued by saying, “To the point of staying away from socials, just to avoid hearing the blood curdling agony in George Floyd’s voice again, begging over and over for his life!!! The look of enticement, the pure joy and climax on the face of this bigot, murderer, thug, pig, bum, Derek Chauvin, haunts me!!”

The heart of man is full of deceit, lies, hatred and evil. We spend much time brooding over someone else 's success instead of spending those times figuring out how we can create better life for ourselves.

Go to school, get a good grade, if you can do well, you will get a good job and hence live a successful life”. With due respect to everyone, this is insane advice with recourse to the everyday reality of our world. Going to school so that you could become successful is a fallacy and has been for as long as I can remember in the history of the world. History has always recorded people performing extraordinary feats outside the confines of the established system of the day. Jesus at 12 years was already more knowledgeable than the temple teachers; Mark Zukerberg dropped out of Harvard to build a world-class institution in less than 10 years; limbless folk are richer than able-bodied folk; dead people are making more money than the living. Point is, there is more than enough evidence to show that if you want to make a mark, established system of operations are the lowest level of success possible, you need to think and operate at the level of unconventional wisdom and faith.

I believe that every human being created for so much more than money, that what really gives every man satisfaction which is what we seek, is beyond just what we can get for ourselves. That when human beings really introspect, and look deeply, the things that give them true satisfaction is beyond money, they want to leave a legacy, help people as much as possible, give of themselves. In the light of this, the advice to “Go to school, get a good grade, if you can do well, you will get a good job and hence live a successful life” is such a SELFISH agenda. There are just so many wrongs in that statement, it doesn’t lead to wealth, doesn’t give fulfillment, neither does it make you more spiritual (ask the millions who rush to work at 5am and get back at 9am).

God has created to be able to have ‘wake-up calls’, we are able to evaluate our positions in life and retrace our steps. There is nothing demeaning or foolish about turning back as soon as you discover you are on the wrong track. How did these people become financially free such that they were able to with the power of passive income live their dreams. It is simply a question of LEVERAGE. To create wealth, you either leverage on TIME, PEOPLE or MONEY. 95% of people leverage on time and that is where poverty, stares people down.

If you leverage time to make money, it means anything that touches your time, touches your money. Job, self employed, small business, etc directly leverages your time. Its simply Time = $$$; falling sick, resigning, sack, etc affect your money. You live in a place where there isn’t time freedom to create other sources of income, no time for family, no time to engage the activities that lift soul and spirit. This crazy cycles goes on till retirement if they keep you that long, and all of a sudden, you realize you haven’t scratched the surface of your dreams. Time = $$$ is where the majority find themselves, its the least level of personal responsibility. It may be a good place to start, but its a means to an end, not an end in itself. JOB – Just Over Broke; was never meant to make anyone rich. There is hardly enough time for the dreams of our heart to invest all of it chasing ‘salary’ which was never meant to satisfy, nor be enough. Why any would invest so much in this endeavor is a mystery to me, or maybe they were ignorant of this reality. Now you know!

Leveraging on PEOPLE (i.e. People = $$$) is where most big businesses live. The idea that you can use other people’s time and efforts to create value instead of yourself. Truth is, I am not surprised about the angst majority of folk have towards rich business people. It is because they are the ones being leveraged on. Paul Getty said “I’d rather earn 1% of 100 people’s efforts than 100% of my own efforts”. Creating a system that leverages people’s time, effort and their money isn’t as difficult as it seems if we are determined to take the hard steps. This is the bane of majority – doing the hard work of making up their mind! The options we know ranges from growing your business to have 500 employees, according to Forbes, whatever business you are engaged in, the point is, do you ever envisage growing it to the point where it doesn’t need you? If not, you have just decided to own a job for life. Or you can short-circuit the process and get a KFC franchise, or something of that sort only snag is the huge capital outlay to get started in it. Network marketing is another fantastic option and one I am involved in, where you build an organisation by leveraging on friends and family and has been touted as the option for a 90% of the world considering how difficult and expensive it is to build a big business or get a franchise. Network marketing not only enables you earn fantastic income in the interim, over 5 years of building this business, you can earn fantastic passive income but in the process, you develop the highly needed business skills that going to a traditional business school will not provide.

Leveraging on MONEY (i.e. Money = more $$$) is where people who have raised enough capital via leveraging on people, get to play. To leverage on money to create more money, you need to have grown wealth through leveraging TIME with financial intelligence or leveraging PEOPLE. Examples include real estate, shares, bonds, stocks, etc.

The point is being financially free at 65 years. That you are able to generate enough passive income to take care of your living expenses at that age. For simplicity, let’s say you spend $3000 per month on your life style and charity work the way you like to, yet the system of leverage you have created, generates $5000. This is financial freedom, where you are not working for money but money is working for you.

New levels call for new rules of engagement. You will still be working at 65 years, unless you are FINANCIALLY FREE.

I believe in the power of negative thinking. It is good to think negatively sometimes. It puts you on guard. It protects you against forces that could crop up in the future.
Negative thinking works like this: when you are making decisions and probably strategizing a big plan, your negative thoughts will caution and question you against probable risk. There's no great plan without risk and failures. While your gut instinct tells you you can do it, negative thoughts will measure the Pros and Cons and tells you the result.
Realize that negative thoughts does not have control over you. You control it the same way you control positive thinking.
A truly positive mental attitude can be put off if not backed up by negative thinking.
You cannot expect to be successful 100% of the time and that is where negative thinking comes to play. Whether in business, finance, medicine, relationship or science. If you are not prepared for negative results, a few setbacks, loss of promotion, job and marriage, bully, such experience will cause you an unnecessary amount of confusion and doubt.
Both positive mental attitude, good work ethics and negative thinking are important in getting the best out of life endeavors...put the power of negative thinking to use and you'll be happy ever after.

It is no gainsaying that fashion trend changes by the second besides, change is the only constant thing in life. When such changes occur, it is for the betterment of homo sapiens and not the reverse.
Nowadays, fashion has enslaved many. People no longer care what they wear and the kind of body cream they use. They've misunderstood the means of dressing properly as occasion warrant it.
More than 90% of African men and women wants to look younger than their age and so they pervert fashion. Many of them now looks like Orange Vitamin C as a result of skin tonnage. Black skinned people wants to be fair and the fair ones wants to become fairer and majority end up having skin cancer...Is Racism coming back
