@SOLOMONCATER
Thanks for your immeasurable help all along, i have read through this thread back and forth and am glad to see the effort u put thru to help concerned individuals. But i just want to ask some few questions:
1. Can one decide to apply through NZ's embassy in UK even if he or she is based in Nigeria; instead of the one in SouthAfrica.
2. I am based in Cyprus at the moment and have completed my masters here, i want to know what i should include as proof of tie when applying to the NZ's embassy in UK since am currently in Cyprus. Cos i noticed u applied through Singapore from Malaysia.
thanks, anticipating your response.

If you can not at least make an attempt to use reasonable spelling the you should not post.
Please read the forum rules about posting and "text speak"
whenever i read your reactions to peoples post as regards spellings or questions asked i cant help but laugh out noisily. let me ask, are u paid for this? and if you are motivatedly paid for this your employer must be very generous, a philantropist or generally not understandably funny.
communication means/occurs once the reciever understands/deciphers/decodes the sender's message(code) then the sender becomes communicado. the last time i checked all his code or slangs were effortlessly decipharable and it never caused any hinges on the thread or forum, which qualifies him an informal legal contributor like every other member on this thread.

thats our problem today we allow our politicians use overated, mindblowing, borguos English to decieve us at the end we go on to vote for those that expressively/coherently sailed there way through while disclosing there inachievable and unattainable manifesto.

eighty7: If it is not EMU, it can never be like EMU. Every other university apart from EMU and METU on this small island is a complete waste of time and money. I repeat, A COMPLETE WASTE.
perhaps u might be right, perhaps not. But the stern conviction that drove you towards writing this without first hand experience, verified appraisal and researched facts for others to see has made your purpoted proposal suffer from amaturish symptoms. so in an audiitors language, your stated account lacks a true and fair view of the said institutes though not mentioned and the information source should as of this date 9th jan 2014 be termed baseless, fictitious, illegible and unworthy to be relied on in passing judgement for any related reasons associated with the formless afore-issue raised, most especially during enquiry.
so colleague pls, sheathe your sword. And dont damage peoples hard earned irreparable goodwill for no just cousre.

DO NOT! And I repeat DO NOT! Go to the embassy without an appointment. That's the first thing they would ask you. You risk being thrown out!

Send an email to the embassy explaining the situation, they'd give you a new date. I had the same issue.

dont worry man. handling ish like this is always at the default of my reasoning. GOD is in control.

Na wa ooo, one will have to go to court again. [/quote]
where else can one notarise? unless you are talking about a lawyer's private chamber, then be ready to cough out more money. unless you meet your already paid family lawyer.

for me, i missed my jan 3 appointment cos i got my confirmation letter on 31st dec. which means my name wont be at the embassy for now. i have planned visiting the embassy end of next week without re-applying, when i believe my name must have arrived there.

WIP am still feeling your presence here, you are the bomb, infact the mandela of this thread. GOD will never stop greasing your elbows. thanks.

Rhems01: Please where can I notarise my sponsorship letter? The people I've contacted said its 5k. Is this the norm? Did anyone here pay that amount? Pleaseeee.... Thanks guys.
personally go to a court tell them you want to prepare an affidavite for sponsor, the gate keeper or even the hustlers at the gate will take you where they type it but u can stil guide the typist with the proper statment to state when preparin it, so as to reflect no. 11 of the student visa requirements. after that i know the hustlers will charge you just to take it to the commissioner for oath, claimin that's the price for the signature. in 9ja constitution its around 5 to 25 naira. but i dont pay more than 500 to any body i meet. remember to go wit ur passport and sponsor's passport too.
i think u will be gud wit this.

yes you can use your print out. its not like they go focused checking out for those things all they want to see are the grades and if it tally with the name. but to be on a safe side just go with a scracth card and pretend you ve not gotten the original, the lady in the office will personally scracth and print out for you just to confirm, then the print out copy would be stamped and signed on

And its close to embassy right?
its close to MOE but am not too sure of the proximity to the embassy. but i strongly believe that the fare from there to embassy is betwn 300 to 500 for taxi. you all know movement in abj town is via taxi no pick n drop bustop to bustop except that long shuttle bus that only plies one route.
so wether close or far taxi will always collect round figure 500, so far its called taxi. pick the green cabs they seem to be cheaper than other electronic ones. hope it helps

onedebos: Anyone here knows guest inns that are closest to the embassy and inexpensive so that prospective applicants will be aware?

We've heard maitama and salem.any others?
pekolyn hotel ltd. kubwa. before police housing college. had a friend that lodged there he said the place is neat n cool n quiet infact he was suprised at the view cos a taxi driver took him there. #2500

I'm sure you do not have the original copy of your result so you needed to authenticate the copy you've because I believe those with either original result (o-levels/Bsc transcript) and foreign O and A-levels do not need authentication from MOE.
among the study visa application 14 requirements no. 9 and 10 states: proof of basic education, copies of graduation diploma and certificates duly signed and approved by the federal ministry of education and the ministry of foriegn affairs thereafter.
i have all my original results and they were all stamped and signed on. and mind you everything done there starts with your olevel, some where even asked to buy scratch card so they can verify online. at the end you will go with one photocopy and your original docs all duly signed and stamped.
