The Ogun State Civil Service Commission has conducted the 2014 promotion examination for civil servants, to promote quality service delivery in the state.

Alhaji Soji Olusesi, who gave the charge, during the exercise, held at the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta urged the participants to reciprocate the commitment of the government at improving their welfare and condition of service.

Olusesi also assured them of prompt release of their results, within six weeks.

“You know if you work, you must expect gain. They have been working in the last two, three years, and now, they are expecting to move to another grade. In order to motivate them to put in their best, we are having the promotion examination.

“Immediately the governor approves the promotion examination, they will get their letters,” he added.

Participants at the examination, Mr Ishola Babatunde, a community health technician and Miss Aiyedun Abiola of the State Ministry of Health, praised the mission to rebuild agenda of the Amosun-led administration and thanked the governor for the prompt payment of their salaries and making sure workers’ promotion is not delayed.

The examination focused on general paper, English Language, current affairs, public service rule, financial regulation and other professional papers.
