knowin fully well DAT u one cud be denied visa using d print out.

I LL advice u not to defer but go,Canada rules AR even easier compared to us,u can defer wen u get there,I ve ppl DAT do so without having alternative schools.

Now to all nairalanders and even to d silent thread readers,pls if u know dip down in ur mind u cannot afford d school u ar applying to or d skool DAT gave u admission,so far its a gud skool,u can use DAT to get ur visa,but also apply to d skool u can afford simultaneously,kip d i-20 and transfer wen u get dere,....so as to avoid dis issue.

credit cards are rare in Nigeria but we use debit cards.:common gtb atm master card LL be okay.
if u dont Av,just look for someone DAT Av,pay into d account and use no on d front cover and d last 3digit secret code @ d back including d expiring DAT.......send all required information to d school.....u AR gud to go .......shalom

Why u scared of gre? Even if the school doesn't require you to write it.. Some VO would not grant you visa if u cannot present a standardized test to proof you are a real student.. My advice try write the test.. There's enough time for the spring semester

Now take a deep breath and calm down,dont get confused,so far u AR prepared for ur interview,listen;call ur admission advisor first thing on Monday @ their own working time becos they dont have a public holiday, ask for an extension letter,DATs d standard procedure in dis context,it LL be given immediately,print it out and attach it wit ur i-20,and kip working on a date simultaneously not exceeding a week to d extra period given on ur extension letter,go for ur interview,convince d Vo and d visa is surely urs........shalom

informat101: Please I am a graduate and I want to apply for masters in a school in usa.I graduated from a private univ with a 2.2 my problem, is my ssce is neco would I ever be accpeted?.this issue has been giving me sleepless nights.I just feel this waec mistake I made keeps hunting me and it would never stop.my waec result was good just didn't make mathematics I always wish if I had known then I wuld have repeated the class and rerote the exam.

ur ssce is not needed in dis context and our grading system of 2:1 or 2:2 is diff frm theirs,its all about ur cgpa,I also made a 2:2 and I had my admission in a gud school only waiting for my i-20 now.

My Brother went for an interview on the 21st of this month and Fortunately Visa officer officer told him to come back in 3 days time for his visa at Isolo. on the 24th he went to the place to pick up his Visa as instructed but they said he should come back the next day that his passport has not reached them or something. He went back again today with his Flight ticket slip showing that he should be leaving on the 30th which is on Wednesday but he got there and they said the same thing. I am so worried about him. And seems like Monday and Tuesday are public holidays. So worried about what's gon happen next. His school resumes on the 8th of August

First of all tell ur bro to postpone d flight.....it is called Ticket day change' depending on d class of ticket u bought initially and u LL pay for penalty.....charges varies depending on airline....shalom

About the atheist thing, the logic is flawed - wont make sense to send an atheist to interview people who are 99% christain/muslim , and going by your argument - which states if he was an atheist (meaning he would not be comfortable with giving a devout christian/muslim a visa).

During my visa interview , v.o asked why my school - and the first thing that came out of my mouth was i had chosen CUA based on three criteria of which the first was religion - the v.o nodded in approval. Suffice to say i got admission for my MA. at 2 university and i chose the christian school because i prefer it, i aint gon lie !

Its coed style.. and each flour has its own kitchen.. I've my meal plan. Chose platinum (18times a week)
Residence Hall Association already promised dat residence life will be an unforgettable one-- we'll make friends for life...
