Life is not all about saying the truth. You can say the truth and destroy your home, children and marriage when not well managed. Many people said the truth and were barbarically killed. Many truth can start a war or escalate violence if said and when said. i can go say the truth to the sick and disabled everywhere i meet them and deeply hurt them instead of solving anything.
Point is life is not all white and black or about proving rights. There's need for wisdom in everything. There are usually better ways of doing things and achieving results. If you still feel strongly that all is okay, you're entitled to your view. i am done.

Go and find them so i can help to tell them. Not sure those are marketers though. It's opinion which can be very wrong. What you call useless may be very useful to some, and vice versa. It's different from social media ignorance that thinks nobody in customs or immigration can buy a car in an attempt to farm engagement. Aside the ignorance, it breeds unnecessary discontent.

If govt has d resources to embark on such project like d super high way, simple thing as palliatives which they themselves listed shld not be a problem by now.

What time would tell you about a ready six lane 30km road. Most of you have never even built a standard shop in your life so achievements are lost on you, or it's simply hate.

If you build a 500m road project to completion, no law says you shouldn't commission it.

There's no sense in commissioning a 30km road out of over 700km just because the 30km looks big compared to 10km and 20km roads.

The 10 and 20km roads were commissioned at 100percent completion.
That's not a reason to commission a road that's barely 4% completed.

Imagine commissioning 400m out of a 10km road.
That's what this charade looks like.

Your opinion which you are entitled to. Others are also entitled to their opinion that 30km deserves applaud and commission. There's no part of the world where a six lane 30km road is not a big deal or nothing. If you talk of 400m, then we can ask who is communicating it. Some projects can be undertaken and commissioned even by a street or a private school. If i promise my village 10km, i can commission 400m, it's an achievement. It's not an achievement for even local government chairman in Lagos. You can't compare them to a six lane 30km coastal highway. It's a very very big deal. If your favorites do their own, they are free not to commission in phases. You probably have no idea about project management or what commissioning actually entails.

It's not saved in your bank account, it's saved expenditure. Meaning that they didn't need to spend that money usually spent. For example, you transport yourself to work with 25,000 monthly but now have accommodation close to work. Or you used to pay for accommodation but now have accommodation free somehow. You've saved that money you used to use for transport and accommodation. It's not necessarily in the bank. Now consider the fact that we were borrowing to pay subsidy. May whoever you serve give you understanding.

Easy to say than do. Who should we sack and how many so that we can save cost. How much is needed and how much is the alleged padding? Have you bothered to check?

So they've completed 4% of the project in 1year. In essence, by the end of Tinubu's first tenure, we can infer that 12% would have been completed.

Let's say he wins in 2027. We can also infer that another 16% would be completed in 2031 when his tenure elapses. That's 28% completion. Let's say 30%. What then happens to the remaing 70%?

Because the probability of another administration not continuing that project is like 0.7.

And you assume that the tens of kilometers of road lead to nowhere and are useless until it's 700km? Do you think roads are like some shop that you finalize by putting a roof before use?
Tell me your best politician and how many kms of road he's done on a stretch. Have you used 3rd Mainland bridge before? It's about one third in length of this 30km. Or it's useless since it's not 700km?

Lagos ibadan expressway is 127km.
Third Mainland bridge is 12km.
Niger bridge or Onitsha bridge is 1.5km.
2nd Niger bridge is 1.6km/12km. Your favorites avoided building it and used it as campaign promises for over a decade.
Your governors commission 1km roads and fly overs once in 4years. But you have a problem with commission of completed 30km. You hypocrites deserve hell.

How? You don't want debt but you want progress and infrastructure. Is it magic?
You want 700km finished in 6months but no borrowing. Just inshaallah and cruise? Unserious people. BTW, it's a plan, not yet approved or borrowed. They've hardly borrowed $2billion in a year not to mention 20.
