PHIPEX: Your IQ is low that's why they initiate every nonsense policy and you will swallow it because you dont have what it takes to critically analyse anything.
There are over 100k commercial vehicles in Lagos, how long will it take the centres to service them? Use your brain. This centre can't convert more than 20 vehicles in a day, it means it will take 5000 days to convert all of them. Use your brain and stop dragging Nigeria back with your halleluya singing. Lolz, a myrmidon spotted, very easy to know these pained losers, they ooze bile online and steal campaign money offline. Like i said, if you are not satisfied, use your money to open your own CNG conversion center. It's a free market, nobody is forcing you to change to CNG or giving you a 24hr ultimatum (abi this one thinks CNG conversion is free or around 500naira). At least you've not died of not using CNG for the past two decades of your myopic life. Have you? |

How is dangote "your saviour"?
Do you want dangote fuel to expose the fraud that nnpc has been perpetrating in the name of subsidy payment and landing cost? What stops Dangote from exposing anything worthy of exposure? i don't need to have a personal discussion with you to see that you were for Dangote against the government AFTER the refinery came to life, THROUGH the government. |

PHIPEX: So everybody in Lagos should go and queue up in one single location? How many can they convert in a single day? Do you know what it means for just 100 cars to be on the queue in a day waiting for conversion?
What sort of policy makers do we have in this country? Duh, start your own CNG conversion center bros. Everything is not nsogbu nsogbu. |

Karma Lol, you wish. If Tinubu does just one term, which is very improbable, it'll not be due to a so called karma, but due to northern influences wanting the North back in power. Be smart. |

Love800: Wow. Tanks for dis.
But apart from government flooding the market with available reserves. What is main/basic solution to it? Just asking though. If you have an idea. The solution is not one way, but i believe since our major forex drain is refined crude products, having local refineries should help in that aspect. But once again, Nigeria doesn't usually respond to normal textbook economic solutions. We're told that Nigeria spends about 40% of it's FX expenditure on petroleum products. Just maybe the local refineries can offload that for us IF they work. Other demands for FX are every other thing that we import. So if we can reduce our imports and do more exports, that will help. All these things are solutions that have been said on paper for many years; it doesn't happen in a day, evidently. |

That been said, this is different from the lady in Canada's situation. While both are very foolish and thoughtless things to say, one is impossible, the other is possible. One is a personal 'plan' to a person, the other is a call to many to poison and kill many more. |
Business › Re: Dangote Refinery Will Crash Dollars by Image123(m): 7:52am On Sep 05, 2024 |
Love800: Okay. If we demand dollar too much, the naira will weaken? Exactly. That's why the government sometimes has to use available foreign reserves to 'flood' the market in an attempt to keep the naira strong. Unfortunately, many people use it for round tripping. |
Business › Re: Dangote Refinery Will Crash Dollars by Image123(m): 3:28pm On Sep 04, 2024 |
Love800: Pls, i want to ask. What causes this forex rate to go up against naira? What is this too much of dollars, i always hear? We have the natural economic law of demand and supply i.e where there's more demand than supply for something, the price goes up. There's usually a lot of demand for dollars in Nigeria, especially to buy foreign goods, like paying for imported fuel, then food, and even school fees. Nigerians and Nigeria like to import everything and we trade in dollars to do that. There's also the economic sabotage reasons where people and "market forces" force the dollar rates to go up using different methods and means for personal gain. Nigeria does not have a well regulated market and this happens often. Make no mistake, many people don't want the price of dollars to come down. |

LordReed: The man is a product of his time. We all are. No, humans are products of God, not time. Time cannot produce a single cell if its life depended on it. Act 17:28 KJV For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. Act 17:29 KJV Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device. |
