1. Scholarships for postgraduate studies.
2. Job placements in the university.
3. Access to mentorship from successful industry leaders. etc

Valid. Unfortunately, the country runs a system that doesn't support or adequately recognise academic excellence. They stand a better chance to get scholarships abroad, I hope they consider that a goal. Otherwise Naija system will just mess them up.

Just imagine the number of people who didn't bother to collect their national id cards because it cost them nothing. Since the NIN slip serves as a valid ID, I don't think anyone still needs that plastic national ID card.

The card itself is practically useless hence the reason the collection wasn't taken seriously. If the card was tied to several important use such as voting, debit, etc. It might have attracted better chance of collection rate.
