Politics / Re: EFCC Confronts BDC Operators In Abuja (video) by IMASTEX: 8:12pm On Feb 19 |
abysirius:People will naturally seek ways to profit from a weak system any where in the world. That is why institutions are strengthened over individuals. But for Niaja, anything goes even the EFCC is not different from those they are chasing. 66 Likes 4 Shares |

Elliotwaveforec:I hate to say this, So he should believe the story just because it was written by the police? specially going by what they have been largely well-known for over the years. If they were truly & strictly for general policing. I doubt if many will be avoiding them like plague. If issues are handled professionally, most of this reactions won't be the case. |
Business / Re: Why Are Bank Accounts Called 'aza' In Nigeria? by IMASTEX: 9:57pm On Feb 14 |
Indispensable85: HNICEARTH:You guys are so funny in this online. You don't understand Edo language, yet you're disagreeing with a speaker. There is nothing like account, treasury, etc in Edo language. The word "aza" is what is used since time immemorial. You can easily hear that from aged persons that don't understand English. "De eghe na khan gba aza." Simply means when are we disbursing or crediting, etc. If the word coincidentally means same in your language, no big deal. After all it won't reduce the price of fuel. 11 Likes 1 Share |

lexy2014:Been the largest doesn't automatically means been sufficient. Hence the highlighted can't be a factor. Nigeria hasn't been able to farm her food needs. |

lexy2014:You & every other users. I.e. the price will moderate. There is export opportunities, the product can equally be used in different forms such as flowers, animal feed, etc. Not to mention those that will be productively engaged. |

Health / Re: Health Workers Kick As Nigerian Nursing Council Introduces Stringent Conditions by IMASTEX: 10:07pm On Feb 08 |
wethebest:At bolded, this is why the people should place a demand on the government to be more responsible. Rather than waiting for the professionals to keep making sacrifices like every citizens are already doing. Many of those leaving aren't really comfortable with the decision but are compared to due to the situation on ground. Poor welfare, zero security, infrastructure, uncertain economy/future, etc to live a meaningful life as humans. Emigration is part of human and people will always keep moving for different reasons. Who says that Nigeria trained healthcare professionals must be the one to do the job? Why are foreigners relocating to certain destination to render services? What are those people doing right? That Nigeria can't do to also attract the best hands from across the globe? You keep mentioning subsidized school? What is the standard of the school? The one that subject doctors to even upgrade to be able to practice abroad? What will you say about the IT and other professions leaving in droves? We aren't ready to focus on the root cause yet. |
Health / Re: Health Workers Kick As Nigerian Nursing Council Introduces Stringent Conditions by IMASTEX: 7:10pm On Feb 08 |
wethebest:Why not channel this your energy to the right direction. Start with the minister of education whose kids school abroad, minister of health, the president and others who don't even know what the Nigeria hospitals look like, Chief medical tourist. I guess they aren't on oath. 2 Likes |

Bacteria8:You're calling on the same government that made many hypertensive in the first place. Been a Nigerian living in Nigeria at the moment is enough reason to have HBP. The state of the economy, insecurity, poor infrastructure, etc is always after the lives of the citizens except those criminals in government. |
Politics / Re: EFCC Raises Task Force Against Dollarization Of Economy by IMASTEX: 8:29am On Feb 08 |
emkz:Sincerity of purpose is all it takes to make things work. If those in authority are the same law breakers, how will things change? The government knows exactly how to fix things, but they won't because they are the most benefactors while few other citizens follow their steps. |

RoyalBlu:bombastic side eye. I once shared same feeling until one pregnant business partner started disturbing me to get some for her since I was doing a business trip to Delta state. Initially ignored, but seeing her frequent reminder, I knew her condition was pushing her So I got some for her. I requested she gives me one, I ate it base on personal protocol. I must confess it was very nice. |
Sports / Re: AFCON: South African Official, Clayson Monyela Accused Of Xenophobic Comment by IMASTEX: 12:16pm On Feb 07 |
DadaStephen1:It is beyond the reasons given since other smaller well behaved Africa countries were equally targeted. It's more of an inherent low self-esteem to even pick on legitimate business/working persons. Of course, if Nigerians weren't running there for economic reasons there wouldn't have been the case of "see-finish". 1 Like |

When a lion loses it's teeth & claw it quickly becomes a pet. If the Nigeria government has reacted with an airstrike. I doubt if they will ever dream of the word xenophobia let alone carrying out the act against any other Africa country. 19 Likes 2 Shares |
