Please I would like to find out if there is anyone who applied for a remark with BC in December from 20th till before they went on break on the 24th that has gotten an outcome from them.

I have applied since then and I am yet to get a feedback.

I applied for a remark on 21st of December and I am also awaiting the outcome.
I guess we just have to be patient but it should come out this week.

Reading- 9.0
Listening- 8.5
Speaking- 8.0
Writing- 7.0
I'm considering remarking writing, so I can get the additional 3 points but all in all I'm just so happy.

I’m also in the same situation, I had 7 in writing and maxed the other skills. I am considering remarking but I hope they won’t reduce score; if not, i will give it a shot because I need all the points I can get

I called and sent emails but I’ve not gotten any response.

Please should I still proceed to the test Centre on Monday or is there an alternative way to reach them?

1. Once you have the ECA and IELTS you can enter the pool. You can later update your profile with your TEF results or new IELTS if you retake the exams.

2. You need to have a reference letter that is consistent with NOC 1111. Does your firm have a HR person who can sign the letter? Is your firm an accounting firm? You may need to declare the MD role in your personal history. Hopefully a VO will not wonder about you being the MD and Accountant at the same time and why you didn't pick the NOC for your MD role.

1. My simulated CRS score is around 437, I am starting French classes this month and hope to take TEF by middle of next year. Can I enter the pool and then update after I have my TEF result assuming I don’t get a nomination?

2. On the issue of NOC - I own and run my own company, working both as the managing director and as the accountant, etc (My educational background is accounting); I am torn between going with:

a) NOC 1111 - financial auditors and accountants (as an employee) or

b) Enter the pool as self employed - but it’s really hard to find an NOC for this

(From my little research, it seems like noc 1111 gets more nominations.
